Hey, I made this a separate thread so you're not reviving/necro-posting a really old one.

Anyway, to the problem. This is indeed a very hard boss-one of the toughest I faced-but once you get the hang of it, and the timing perfect, it shouldn't be too much of a problem. I would avoid using magic, (apart from Cure when needed). Basically, you need to hit back the ice it throws at you. I would suggest going as far away as possible, like on the steps to the side. Like I said before, the timing of when you attack the shards is crucial. You may get hit the first few times, but you WILL get used to it.

Soon enough, the Ice Titan will slump over, giving you a great opportunity to attack its head. (This is the main place you need to attack it). Then you can do whatever you want to hurt it. Personally, I used Ragnarok, and then mashed the x button to the extreme. lol. Just repeat this, until he starts using new attacks. I forget what they do, but I remember during a portion of the final part of the battle, I spent a great deal of time gliding. Because if the ice got me, I would have been frozen and unable to do anything. Anyway, whatever his attacks are, I'm sure you will easily figure them out, and find a way to hit back at it. Though, be warned, this was one fight that took absolutely forever to defeat.

=OO, Yea. I remember a few attacks. ^3^; There's these ice balls that fall onn top of you wherever you go. I recommend gliding to the opposing set of stairs! ;DD, Hee also makes shock waves onn the ground. You'll avvoid those byy stayying onn the stairs. O//O; And there's one super attack that freezes the entire arena I thinkk. Or something.

I always just reflect the ice he throws at me back at him and just glide, attack him until he falls then i do major damage to him.

I found the constant use of the dodge roll technique to be slightly more effective than gliding. Outside of that, follow the advice of the folks that posted above me.

yes Glide isnt reliable for dodging ice titans attacks exceopt for staying up for the major freeze, and gettting to him to hit his head. Dodge roll is more usfull for not taking any dmg during most of his attacks.

i flew around him and hit him a couple of times and he went down like any other boss.

main problem is the dodging.

once you learn how he telegraphs his attacks that'll give you an advantage.

in this battle timing is everything, then just hack away at him when he is weak.

Dodge roll is the best thing to do, because when you glide to the other set of stairs, while he takes 5 minutes to turn around, constant Icicles are shot in your direction, and when he drops the ice balls just dodge roll, do the same thing when he shoots iciles out from underneath the ground, when the floating icicles shoot out from under his body, press the square button to use block, (if equiped in abilities) if not just run away, when he puts his hands together in front of him, get away from the edge of the stairs, because he will make an icewall. Also when you press the sqaure button to block the floating icicles, if you are succesful at blocking them they will be shot back into his head, therefore doing more damage to him.
