No-one could ever feel as out of place in a world as Koudelka did, finding herself stranded in this bizzare jungle world. Surrounded by green and brown, branches hung in disarray around her, the smell of both fresh and rotted foliage thick and cloying. Every which way she looked, the same vista greeted her and edged away at her nerve. How exactly had she ended up in this place? She remembered absolutely nothing of the last few minutes. Trying desperately to contain her panic, she was also aware that she was not alone.....
Unable to stay on the same spot for long, Koudelka found herself wandering a short distance, hoping that the jungle's menace would somehow thin out and she would find a landmark or a sign that she wasn't far from civilisation. It didn't come, and the panic became overwhelming. Even the sound of a distant waterfall seemed too far for her to travel, and Koudelka stopped to rest with a mixture of despair and weariness.
Reaching for her dagger, she decided to climb a nearby tree which held an interesting looking fruit she had not seen before. Unfastening her long velvet robe, she allowed it to drop gently to the ground, revealing the ornate lace bodice underneath. Hmmm, perhaps if I'd known I'd get stuck in a jungle I'd have dressed more elaborately, she thought to herself wryly. Using the heals of her long stiletto boots to dig her way up the tree, Koudelka once again felt the foreboding that someone else was in that jungle with her. Whoever they are, I'm sure they're enjoying the view up my skirt.....

Hidden (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ICcQHfM7KXA) eyes peered through red hair, analyzing the sudden change in the environment. Amarant Coral lifted his broad hands, clenching them together once before crossing them together. The area was filled with trees, and the green grass that poked through the mast that littered the ground. He was in a forest obviously, but the question was how he had gotten there. The mans instinct kicked in then, disregarding his prior thought and causing him to survey the area one more time, and not for his whereabouts.
He searched for his enemies now, looking for the glint of a sword against the sun that filtered through the wide gaps in the trees, the sound of armor hitting together as they ran as silently as they could to take him by surprise. His senses spread out in every direction, trying to pinpoint anyone that was near.
There was no one. Even though he was armed with this new knowledge, he refused to let his guard drop. Just because he couldn't sense them didn't mean they weren't there. To let his guard down would be inviting his death, and that wouldn't happen to him. If he could see it coming, he would stop it. This, he was sure of.
His one-track mind came to a conclusion as his dark green clothes rustled, marking his movement. He was here for battle, and a great battle at that. His body was filled with anticipation that he couldn't explain, and there could be only one thing that would cause him this anticipation.
A fight.
His brown boots crushed the grass beneath it as he walked slowly away, going about as fast as the grass took to recover and straighten up to it's original position. Sure, there was a fight, but there was no hurry. The battle would come to him.

From high up in the tree, Koudelka could see the strange figure with his fiery hair and nonchalant demeanor, as he paced quietly through the lush jungle. She hadn't been expecting such a carefree prescence here in these desolate parts, and felt a small wave of relief that she wasn't being followed by some foul predator. Instead she felt her inner child come out to play, and decided to have some fun with this new potential adversary. Perhaps I can make him squirm a little whilst I'm stuck in this useless jungle.....
Swiftly leaping down from the tree, her skirt flapping in the wind, Koudelka landed lightly on her suede boots. She had landed facing dead-on with her new playmate, the wicked twinkle in her eyes barely scratching the surface of the cocky mood she was in.
"So.... looks like I'm not alone here. What's your story?" Tossing her short auburn hair back, Koudelka looked him in the eye, revelling in her own self-confidence.

As the woman came forward in an attempt to perhaps surprise him, Amarant did not stop his slow but powerful march. As she spoke, he kept walking straight towards her, ignoring her completely. At the rate he was going, he would plow directly through the cocky short skirted woman.
Thoughts flashed through the Flaming Amarant's mind, and the top five thoughts were as follows.
He thought she was underdressed.
He noticed that she had an extremely relaxed and childish air about her.
She couldn't be that powerful or smart to actually reveal herself so willingly.
She could not possibly be such a moron.
His mind reviewed the past he's had and the people he's encountered, and he came to the only possible conclusion.
She could.
Armed with that knowledge, he had no reason to even pay attention to her, for she would not give him a fight that would be memorable. There must have been someone else here that gave him the feeling he had welling up inside of him. He only had to wait for that person to appear, and if was forced to, he would simply warm up against this woman. He knew she would be the annoying type. The kind that wouldn't leave him alone. He dealt with it almost every day, and this would be no different.

Feeling her rage bubble up inside of her at this disregard, Koudelka decided it was about time to teach this insolent fool a lesson. She figured that with her look and demeanour he had obviously underestimated her power quite severly. Do you want to know what real power is, pal? Perhaps actions will speak louder than words with you.....
Allowing him to pass her by, Koudelka offered him one warning glance. Then allowing her eyes to unfocus themselves, she pushed one hand up into the air above her head. Summoning the energy of the surrounding lush greenery, she pulled it up through her body and allowed it to manifest itself in her hand. A tiny flash of crimson briefly glowed there, before changing into a ball of fire in her hand. Koudelka brought this down to her eye level, and watched as it's size increased.
"FLARE!!!"
Pushing the ball of flame forward with her hand, she sent it hurtling at breakneck speed at a tree close to where her adversary was still walking, his back turned. He hadn't seen her summon up the flare, and he was startled by the tree, which exploded into a ball of orange flame, spreading like a plague into the trees and greenery surrounding them. Soon Amarant's path was blocked by an infernal wall, which spread into a ring around them. The arena was set.
"Think you can ignore me now?"

OOC: I take back what we talked about before, Sam.
I'm destroying you.
BIC:
Amarant's mind opened up to new possibilities, taking in the display of power and the use of magic. The tall man turned slowly, to face this woman with his full attention. Perhaps his enemy was this person after all.
Suddenly, his focus locked onto her, and all else did not matter. The fight he had felt building within him broke free, flooding his veins with the burning emotion that was his lust for battle.
Amarant's slouched position slouched more, and his knees bent to position themselves in a defensive and offensive position. His viewed his claws for a very brief moment, seeing them shine in the filtered light from above, smoke began to fill the air and clouded the light. The dark smoke filled his lungs, but he refused to cough, for coughing would distract him from his state of focus.
Without warning of any kind, he dashed forward, digging his feet into the ground as hard as he could to give him extra power when he leaped, using the claw on his right hand in a stabbing movement, aimed directly for the shoulder, to incapacitate her use of the left arm.

Delighting in the fact that her adversary's fighting spirit had been aroused, Koudelka waited for his onslaught. Although she had slightly misjudged his speed as he came hurtling towards her- as she threw herself out of the way his claw ripped a shallow weal in her skin. As she tumbled into her dodge and landed, one knee planted firmly on the ground, she saw with fury that her arm was dripping with blood. It ran like a crimson rivulet down her creamy skin.
"Ngh. So you're fast. But do you think your speed can match my magic power?" she retorted, desperate not to let her anger show through. Very few people in the past had managed to land a hit in that way, and Koudelka was determined to keep her record pristine. This might be a bit tougher than I thought, the guy has skill.....
The jungle had become a mass of flames as the fire spread through its branches, engulfing them. Quickly Koudelka dodged again as a large tangle of burning wood crashed down where she'd landed, igniting the grassy path. This place was becoming more dangerous by the minute, and she revelled in it.
Seeing the trees and branches fall gave Koudelka an idea. Using her unwounded arm, she pushed it into the sky and summoned three small but volatile bolts of lightning, crackling madly with yellow light in her hand. Once again facing her opponent with an almost evil smile, she thrust the bolts at the overhanging trees behind him, smashing their already flame-weakened frames and sending them hurtling down on top of him.

OOC: I ah... keep forgetting about this. <.<
Sorry.
(By the way, even though I'm an RPG Mod I can't actually move threads anymore because of the limit on power. So, obviously this should be moved...? Also, the time limit and all... Close it if you want. Consider it forfeit on my part, if you wish. =D)
IN:
Quick reflexes were the only thing that saved him. Hearing the crack of lightning against the trees, he immediately dashed forward, dodging the heavy trunks of the trees, but even he was not fast enough to dodge them all without a scratch. The flaming branches crashed down on top of him, tripping him up and cutting through his green shirt.
Turning his fall into a roll, he clenched his fists together and sprung up, without a single pause in the move. The roll had brought him extremely close to his enemy, and he once more attempted to lash out, but even he realized that his footing was wrong, and he had jumped earlier than he should have. He was coming up short, which meant he couldn't impale her by toppling onto her. Instead, he had to stretch his arm, which wouldn't do as well as his original plan.
In mid-air, he formulated another attack. Summoning up his energy, he dipped into his power that he used for his Flair abilities, pulling enough to make a difference. His free hand that didn't have his weapon attached began to aquire an eerie glow, the sun's rays filtering through the transparent multi-colored light.
In a matter of seconds, Amarant had created another attack, and now he launched it. His breath released two small words, said with such force packed into his rough but soft voice that it sounded clear through the roaring fire behind him. "No Mercy!"
His attack launched, the light turning a blood red as it came straight at his opponent. At the same time, he spun once, a complete circle, to bring his claws around the left side, to cut at her once again.
