Whos going to be the next Mod???

Whoever's suitable for the part.
That's something Administrators decide. If they're needing new mods, they discuss the topic and choose a responsible member of the forums who has the requirements.
I haven't been in the forums for a while thanks to vacation, but I think there are already new mods.

Though if I'm not wrong, no more Mods are needed at the moment. When the population grows, the security increases, if you get what I'm saying, lol. When more members join, probably some more Mods will be required.

There are currently no plans to add new staff. Perhaps the next time I need one I should hold a tournament to the death, last member left alive gets the position.

Alex had mention something about promoting me to Mod before, but I never got the chance to talk to him, and he doesn't seem to be on that much. But yeah, they're covered in the Staff Department.

Then those mods are placed into retirement, and new moderators will be added to pick up where they left off.

For now you can just make expectations. The Staff decides about future Mods. You never know who will they choose, but someone responsible, I believe.

That would be a great idea. I would be sure to come and watch with my bag of popcorn and soda.
Anyway, you still got to remember becoming a mod is not about gaining popularity. It can be tough work because of balancing between your friends you meet on here plus lets not even go into real life.
It is not suppose to be a fun job but the fun comes from it when you can help people in need and that is what makes it rewarding.

yea your right riku-sora its hard to become one but im still never going to give up.
Remember also that anyone who wants to become a Moderator just to have a position of "power" will almost certainly never become one.

You wouldn't believe the reasons that people ahve become mdoerators, I've seen corrupted ones, they reak all kinds of havoc before they're caught. But, then again, there are those who do their job but are all egotistic about it.

lol Ego can be a good or a bad thing when becoming a Moderator. Obviously going around saying "Look at me! I'm a Moderator!" is one of the bad points.
Does this thread really have a topic? "Next Mod" really just seems to be talking about Moderators.

He's a Super Moderator, that's the next best thing. It basically is the same thing on some forums, not sure about this one though.
I think the team we currently have is great; I don't think any additions or promotions are nessessary, well, Trainee Mod to full Mod is fine :P
Darky should become a Mod.

Well currently..yes..he is the "new mod"..but he has been a mod. trainee for a little while now....so..I don't know what you'd consider new...But..he was the last one appointed to become a moderator! ;)

I Would like to be a MOD if i could but we have to follow the requirements if we wanted to be one and i'm sure it would take alot of work but still if i got chosen to be one i would be a MOD.

I've actually already said who it is in another thread. The temp moderator is most likely going to be made a full-time mod at the end of his term.

Picking mods is a hard job. I'm in the process of choosing a mod for my forum, but there aren't very many people on my site yet so I don't really even need one.

To pick a mod they have to have certain, how do I say this, expert-like qualities. They have to be very kind, truthful, not mean, and very informational. I match none of these qualities, but then again I'm not here for a moderator position, I'm here for the people and to help others. Well, you could say I fit one quality LOL.
