I'm such a hardcore GITS fan. I have the whole series to Stand Alone Complex and I just started watching GIGS. I have 1-3 in the GIGS set, I have also seen Ghost in the shell movie as well as the Ghost in the Shell movie 2: Innocence. It's such a great series.

I'm also a huge Hellsing fan but I haven't seen the OAV to the new Hellsing thats based on the manga, but I do have the boxset to the anime show version which is still awesome!.

This show is sweet. One of my favorites really. I love the whole Stand Alone Complex thing it's brilliant. The copy of something without any proof of an original or something similar to that. I thought it sucked what the Tachikomas did. It was sad. I've only seen the show in english. Haven't seen any movies of it or anything. I like the Major. I'm curious though as to her age. In the Laughing Man episodes it's set in 2030 and she looks like shes in her 30s. I was just curious because I was wondering around what time on an English time line she would go full prosthetics. What age was she anyways? 8-12? And there is increasing possibility that this will be what our future will be like. We already have people experimenting with similar technology. There's also so wacked out (my oppinion) scientist that thinks humans have reached our peak of evolution lest we dawn mechanical body parts. I think he's a professor on the east coast. Maybe England. There's also been a few somewhat successful tries at having people use their minds to control a computer. It is still very buggy and requires they drill a thing into your head. Personally I don't want that kind of body unless it's neccessary. As to the Tachikomas I believe experts say that were really only a couple decades from similar artificial intelligence technology.

the second 1 was a lot better than the 1st. The 1st word didn't ave enough actions scenes in it which i thought made it rather dough since the actions scenes that come into the storyline r decent so i think if they had added more scenes involving combat then i wud ave liked it better. Maybe even better than Karas but thts something 4 me 2 think about.

Yeah Ghost in the Shell started as a manga series then they made it a anime series with a couple of movies. It's got a great plot, awesome music along with graphics.
