The area hasn't had many vistors, and is said an epic, ancient battle had occured on this very island, making it somewhat of a landmark. Because the island rarely gets any visitors, it is free for anyone, especially anyone who wished to make history with another epic battle here...

Using his Psychometry ability, he can make physical contact with any of his enemies or their possessions, and gain information on them. For example, how they fight, their weaknesses, etc. With his power of Illusion, he can manipulate the mind to make the enemy believe anything they'd like. By messing with their mind, he can use it to his advantage and make his moves. With his Atmokinesis ability, he can use his mind to control the weather, using it to his own advantage. For example, stopping a large fire by creating heavy rain, evaporating water by making the weather extremely sunny, and so on. Despite his tough exterior and personality, he is very agile, and therefore can use his very light sai to attack his enemies gracefully.

He did have some Hand-to-hand training with the Thrench Knives from his late master, Asuma.

[Sora's Shadow]

Shikamaru sighed. He was crouching between two icebergs, water lapping against his feet. He sighed again. "Why can't I have a normal mission just once in my life without something weird happening. I didn't even want to go on this mission, but it was my 'duty'. What a drag." He sighed once again before he moved from his hiding spot.

He jumped from one iceberg to the next. "One false move and it's over." He said this to no one in particular, but the saound of his voice comforted him a bit. He finally jumped from the last floating iceberg to dry land. Sort of. "Maybe I can find some help..." Shikamaru murmurred.

He looked ahead and all he could see was ice, except that one spot, in the distance, was light orange. He decide to ignore that. He saw a tree and began to move that way, slowly. One wrong move and he was as good as dead.

The waves crashed onto the rocky shoreline nearby. The oélechs, strange alien creatures which highly resembled that of seagulls, but of different hues, flapped their wings forcefully, as if they had been trying to escape something nearby. The sky was dull and cloudy, as if a storm was soon to hit the small Rhapsodian island. The island hadn't had many visitors lately. In fact, it had been abandoned by many some time ago. Only a few of Rhapsodian blood still actually still resided there. The island of Apyuas seemed to have many storms occuring on it's shores lately, which could have possibly been why there hadn't been many tourists traveling there.

The ocean splashed against the shore wildly, the wind blowing greatly. The young Rhapsodian man knelt down onto his right knee, his right arm out, feeling the water crash onto his palm. His small, white hair blew in the same direction as the wind as it gradually increased in strength. Above, the clouds seemed to have been increasing in numbers. The young man took a deep sigh, focusing on the ocean.

"Man... It feels like the weather just keeps getting worse and worse every day," the male quietly said to himself. "If the storm today will be as bad as the one yesterday, I'd better get back home, quick." He slowly lifted his body as he began to ascend back onto his feet. Turning his body to a 180-degree angle, he looked straight ahead. It seemed as if the storm had only been getting worse. If anyone were to stay outside any longer, they would, no doubt, meet a horrible fate...

[Sora's Shadow]

The wind was getting stroger. The sky was littered with storm clouds. "Oh great. A storm." Shika said lazily. He countinued walking, looking for some sort of shelter. The ocean was lapping againts the shoreline, not too far away. Shikamaru tried to enjoy the sound. There weren't many oceans near Konoha.

He was getting close to the tree. Birds that looked a lot like seagulls, except that they had different colors, circled around. Shika sighed again and looked up at the sky. It seems to be mad, probably becaue there was somebody that didn't belong in it's realm. What now? What do I do?

He reached the tree and sat under it, it's giant leaves frotecting him from the first drops of rain. There seemed to be fruits up there, except there were square. How odd... His thoughts wondered over the Orange thing he had seen earlier. He gaze again in the direct that he had seen it and noticed that it was gone.

How odd.....
