View Full Version : Crossroads

Key of Destiny
12-23-2006, 12:41 AM
Im just trying to refresh what i heard before.

ok look. There is a coincidence between the crossroads in COM and the crossroads in Sunset Horizons look at the picture very carefully The crossroads are a very important part of COM so they may be important to KH3. there are 4 paths according to CoM. twilight, darkness, light, and dawn. as the chasers in the video came from 3 different paths: light, darkness, and twilight so maybe im not saying for sure but maybe the figure in the sand is the pasts riku that takes the symbol of dawn because Riku took the path of dawn in kh2. and maybe he isnt xehanort as everyone thinks its probably a new character.

Riku-Sora

I never thought of that but since the figure seems to relate to the other guys in armor I dont that is him.

Riku

I've always said that I doubt the shadowy figure is Xehanort, but I was starting to get pulled in by the rumours. I said it was possible, but I still kinda doubt it lol.

Other sites have pointed out that it can't be the same crossroads because they're at different angles, but I don't really know.

I really think that those two crossroads have some similarities, and I hope that it will be pointed out in KH3.

Its odd, however, that there are some differences between the Grassy crossroads and the Keybladed Crossroads...Such as size, width, and the layout of the land, with the hills, etc.

Oh, and btw, your Sig is WAY to big Key of Destiny

riku takes the road to dawn, though.. not the road of dawn... there'a big difference in that one word

ya he does because for riku's ending in CoM, he meets the king then the meet DiZ
diz asks riku which path he will take
light or darkness
he takes the middle path instead of the light or dark paths.

Carl

Knowing that he is neither completely dark nor completely light, he and Mickey leave Castle Oblivion walking the path between, not the road to "nightfall", but the road to "dawn"..i fount this on page http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Riku_%28Kingdom_Hearts%29

I can answer that. IF this game takes place in the future then the grass will die out, the terrain will get rough and it will obviously look different.

THis is going off topic for a sec but this is key of destiny and i created a new one cuz key of destiny just aint riku.

riku takes the road to dawn, though.. not the road of dawn... there'a big difference in that one word can u plz explain to me what that exactly means?

Carl
02-12-2007, 03:50 AM
please don't double post

it mean that since riku has the keyblade way to the dawn,he doesn't mean he took the road to dawn but i say its just the name of the keyblade and plus sora keyblade isn't named after the road he got it from

those comparisons are exactly wat made me believe that the secret ending is taken place in the past, because the crossroads in the secret ending, seem like they have no grass grown in, just the keys standing in the place, like kinda a grass formation, meaning it could, im guessing, that it mistakenly formed the crossroads, but then the crossroads [twilight, dawn, and so on] has grass, meaning it is in the future! idk though, my guesses

i think they are the same, showing them to us must have been for a reason to make us realize something, as for the shady character, i havent made any guesses...

but, the keyblade that the first chaser u see, what keyblade is that?

Carl

i have wondering i have just not been able to say it yet

dang i never really noticed that

but ive noticed that kh2 had roxas and diz and namine and they were so different and totally new characters so y cant kh3 do the same?

Helix: The True Hero
02-13-2007, 01:19 PM
If it doesn't have a chain, that means that it's not a real keyblade, right?

Twilight's Bane
02-13-2007, 07:58 PM
i think chains only give u attributes

K H P
02-13-2007, 08:02 PM
Riku's Keyblade didnt have a chain i think, and yeah i guess it is just there for show, was chain of memories a name of a key? maybe the chain does have something to do with the keys, and there is a keyblade that deals with memories?

Aerith
02-13-2007, 08:07 PM
Chain of memories refers to link between memories that Namine had to reform in "Chain of Memories".

The keychain is what changes the keyblade. Back in KH it said that Sora couldn't change weapons but could add different keychains to give it new attributes.

Twilight's Bane
02-13-2007, 08:08 PM
uhh i think chain of memories was just soras chain of memories that he lost. and rikus keyblade had a heartless symbol chain

K H P
02-13-2007, 08:14 PM
just letting my imagination run its way, i never really notice Riku's Keyblade, you barely see Riku or Kairi in the game except flashback versions until the end...

but yeah, stickin to my theory on the crossroads

Berry187
02-13-2007, 09:46 PM
Riku's Keyblade(The way to the dawn) had the heartless sign
But Riku also had a sword thing(Soul eater) that didnt have a Keychain

I think the similarities between the two crossroads are too great to be different.

And different angles? It's called the angle of the camera.

Well, the GBA had limited hardware, and that was a very pretty game, especially the cutscenes. So you have to forgive the fact that they had limited space to work with.

That's kind of weird, huh. I thought there was only supposed to be a keyblade master. Emphasis on the "a" - meaning ONE. Leon called Sora the "chosen ONE." Or maybe I just misquoted what was said in the first game. Oh I don't know. But now we know there's hundreds, maybe thousand of keyblades. And who's to say they weren't owned by anyone? Sure, maybe the "Chasers" forged them, and didn't hand them out for people to use. Maybe the keyblade wielders had died from this "keyblade war". And the keyblades are the remains. Maybe they're not even real keyblades.. too......many....theories.....!

Chaser
02-24-2007, 09:38 PM
you forgot one theary....... or they could have been from past keyblade masters

Isn't it wierd how the two crossroads are different in size. And also, its not light dark, twilight and dawn. Its light dark twilight and NOTHINGNESS.

Carl
02-25-2007, 02:58 AM
just because xehanort has powers of nothingness doesn't mean that one of the roads are nothingness

It isn't nothingness it is dawn. The 4 crossroads are light, dark, twilight, and dawn. Even Nomura has stated that before.

Although if anyone listned to noumura e said that "xigbar has alot to do with the chasers." If anyone recalls in the kh2 game he said to Sora your nothing like the other keybearers or he called him weak something in the lines of that.
Also if no one noticed destiny island and twilight town are now right next to each other could they have been zapped into the past or future due to this, or may have Ansem the Wise done this to test a theory?

May Roxas still be able to leave Sora's body? Twilight, Dawn, Dark , and Light.
Roxas-Twilight
Riku-Dawn
Dark-Mickey
Light-Sora
The crossroads were also in the first ending to kingdom hearts one. May the crossroads be a world. Sora visits the crossroads twice, once in kh1, and kh:cm. Maybe the crossroads are a dimension of the past.
Like Noumara said kh3 takes place in the present and past.
--Birth By sleep---

Carl
02-25-2007, 03:33 AM
good theory i never thought of that

Xehan
02-25-2007, 04:08 AM
Both of you are wrong. Especially Ultima.

There are two possibilities only. And even those are greatly speculated.

1) It is Light, Dawn, dusk, and Darkness. "Twilight" is the state of being in between Light and Darkness. That applies to Dawn and Dusk.

2) It is Light, Twilight, and Darkness. "Dawn and Dusk" are only paths.

"Nothingness" is Nobody. Because they are in between, you can't categorize them into a side. Or a force. So they are of neither energy. So in essence, twilight is nothingness.

K H P
02-25-2007, 04:59 PM
im telling you guys, those crossroads looks like it was accidently formed, like it was by accident, formed by the places of the keyblades, do we know where all the paths lead to?

and its not a thread to be right or wrong...

Chaser
02-26-2007, 10:13 PM
the four corners of the crossroads could have been four armys of keyblade masters one army of light, darkness, dawn, and whatever the other one is.......then something could have killed them all where they stood

i just thought of that realy quickly......and that would explane the keyblade wars thing
