Eternium Evermore

Eternium Evermore
Is with me, is with us all
And we don't know it
(Do not know it.)

Conjure us a mystery
And we won't see it
Won't exceed it
(Or surpass it at all.)

[Chorus]
Eternium
Is our only home, our only life
Eternium
Is our only heart, our only light
Eternium
Evermore is your grace
The heavens that be are your face
The universe is your space
And we as a whole are your slaves
Eternium (Eternium).

-----

* Eter-ni-um. Is. With. Is. E-ver-more.
See. Us. Through. To. Turn. Our. Wings and soar.
Though. We. Fall. We. Will. Not. Fail at all.
We. Will. Try. A-vail. And sur-pass it all.

*(Play in the background)
Skies are lying, stars are crying
Skies are lying, stars are crying
Skies are lying, stars are crying
Skies are lying, stars are crying.

**Eternium...!
Eternium...!
Eternium...!
Evermore is your grace.

**(Repeat) (Plays with * playing in the background again.)

Once more, I haven't finished the lyrics quite yet. :P

I'm not feeling the first and second stanzas, either. I'd like to change it, so I'm open to suggestions. Also, the words are spoken slowly and elongated throughout most of the song, except for the stanza after the Chorus. It's staccato. (Shortened words). And the words at the end of the staccato lines are regular-sounding, lol.

Eh?

He's a musician too.

Never really got the hang of music, but you seem much more than a poet Helix.

Music is poetry, Lone Wolf. ;)

Thats where I will have to disagree.

Music so much more than a string of words, woven into the tapestry we all know as paper.

It calls forth both the timbre and the lyrics, and if done right proves to be a hum etched into your conscious.

The I guess my entire life has been a lie. @_@

You see, poetry is more than just words on paper. When I made this song, I printed it out on paper. It counted as poetry then, right? It had words, stanzas, and rhymes, and was on paper. When transfered to a song, does it not retain the poetical stature?

I do believe so, Helix.

Poetry isn't just what you described it as, LW. Trust me. *Gun loads*

You must of, misinterpreted my metaphor there Helix.

Every tapestry holds its own unique tale to tell, and every tapestry is a unique work of art woven by the sweat and blood of every artist.

No I'm not undermining the power of poetry, on the contrary.

I'm uplifting music, the most developed branch of poetry.

I'm fully aware of what you said.

Anyway, could someone help with the first two stanzas?

Keep the line about mystery, I'm fond of it.

Damnit this was amazing. I want to hear music to go with it.

...Mostly because I love the word "eternity" and eternium sounds like it. ^^ And it was to do with wings which = angels in my world. :)
