If you have been trying to play this game on a PS3, then chances are that it will not play. PS3 does not have reverse combatibility. If you have one that DOES have reverse combatibility, you most likely have the oldest version. However, the newer PS3s can not play PS2 games, which is the reason Re:CoM won't work for you. It's not the game.

LOL OMG. When i saw the title "If your Kingdom Hearts Re:CoM doesn't work.." i instatnly started busting out laughing. I thought you were just gonna bag on unfortunate people's lives for tha hell of it. X_X

...then i saw it was in KH news section... o well ... *face palm*

btw for those who dont know ps2 software is available in the playstation store

How is this news? I'm sure most people know that only some PS3's have backward compatibilty, and if you don't have it, then you can't play PS2 games. This is in no way Kingdom Hearts News, it's info for boneheads that don't know their head from their foot.

boneheads info or not its better for him to announce it instead of 100 different threads saying "um... My Re:CoM isnt working.." and lord noes that nobody uses the search engine lol.

I have the Metal Gear Solid 4 edition PS3 which is newish and I can play ps2 games.
I just hope when I get re-com it doesn't freeze on me like the others.

he just answered your question. and you asked it again. lol. no as of right now, if you have a ps3 that is not backwards compatible, there is nothing you can do to make it work .

Sorry, I just really wanted to play this game and now I can't. and also I can't take it back to get the money. So I just wasted money on this thing.
