New Final Fantasy Characters??

There'll undoubtedly be more, but I honestly don't know which ones. People want to see more from Final Fantasy VII and X lol. They've used a helluva lot from VII already though.

I think Tifa was chosen also because of the relationship Tifa and Cloud had in FFVII.

yea i think so too....but theres a problem with that....theyre not detailed enough(as in they're not 3-d) so it would be too much work for square to develope a non detailed character....when they could just copy and paste say vincent...or rinoa or anyone else.....so...well thats whjat i think

They managed it with Setzer from Final Fantasy VI. They've already got 3D versions of everyone in Final Fantasies III-VI and Chrono Trigger from the cutscenes they did for PS and DS. I don't see why they couldn't put them in lol.

On a separate note, how about the Star Ocean characters?

Just something you might be interested from an interview:

'On what kind of basis did you choose the FF characters?'

'In a way, we selected characters that are on demand. We considered from both fans and the staff's opinions and it all ends with just characters that are highly on demand.'

'And Tifa from FFVII showed up.'

'In fact, back when we were working on KH:FM, some of the staff members wanted to have Tifa show up. They said "Battling with Tifa would be fun, in a melee sense" and originally wanted to add both Sephiroth and Tifa (into KH:FM) but due to tight schedules, we could only go with one character so we inserted Sephiroth into KH:FM. Because of that, we decided to let Tifa show up in this game. When we were recording the voices for KHII, coincidentally they were also doing the recording for FFVII:AC so somehow we end up doing "Today we record FFVII:AC, tomorrow KHII"... (laugh) The voices were recorded in the same flow so I'm glad about that.'

'Speaking of Tifa, there's an event where she talked to Cloud after beating Sephiroth.'

'In Nojima-san's scenario, it explained Cloud and Tifa's connection more in-depth but I deleted it away. I thought it would be more interesting to let the gamers think about it. For example, "If Cloud's darkness is Sephiroth, then Tifa is light"; in that sense you can take it that Tifa isn't really human. The reason Tifa doesn't talk to anyone else besides Sora and co. may be because she doesn't exist as a human. Of course, I also presented her in a way that she could also be a resident of Hollow Bastion, so I think you can feely think for yourself about her.'

It would be neat to see Vincent come into KH3. If only they made worlds similar to Final Fantasy but it is a Disney and Final Fantasy game. They have to share. If they have Vincent then they would need Lucrecia and Hojo. It would get confusing with Sepheroths mom in there.

That's another point... Isn't Kingdom Hearts supposed to be Disney and SQUARE-ENIX? Final Fantasy may be considered as Square-Enix's most popular franchise, but I think there are much better games floating around. (Such as Star Ocean, like you said Medic). Instead of using recycled Final Fantasy characters in the next game, why doesn't Nomura branch out and use popular characters from other much loved Square-Enix games? I'm sick of seeing the same boring people like Cloud and Sephiroth! Give me a break from FF7, jeez! Personally, I would like to see characters from Chrono Trigger. What a great game. And 3D too? :D I think this would make the game more appealing to customers that aren't really fans of Final Fantasy. (There's alot of them around, trust me).

Well, any characters from 7 is fine as long as spikey-hair Cloud is in it. Also Yuffie. I also don't want FF9 in it. I just hate that monkey boy and how they gonna appear in the game? As midgets!? There's no way I'm gonna accept the main character as a midget just to fit in with them. I just want Zell and Laguna and Vincent in it. And when we're in a Zell world, we'd also have cool tattoos in our faces(referring to main character). Then in another event, there'd be a gun duel between Laguna and Vincent. Vincent is awesome, they should add him, but I heard Disney say when Square mentioned it for one of the two games on the PS2 that Vincent was 'too violent' for Kingdom Hearts, or something like that, maybe its because he has guns, but then again, Clayton in Kingdom Hearts had a gun......

It would be preety cool seeing Ifrit, shiva, odin, bahamut, and many of the others. I think that is the one part that they are missing.
