How long will 358/2 days be

The game is supposed to fill up the year when Sora's memories are being put back together, but a year is a long time. I was just wondering what everyone thinks about the length. I hope that it has at least a 20 hour blind playthrough time.

Well since the number of missions are counted by what I think is days it might be 358 missions but they might be quick 10 minute missions...

I really doubt they re will be that many missions. Some i think will be side missions but really i see it being myabe as long or shorter as crisis core.

Hmm i see where your coming from. Perhaps the game doesnt go day by day. You do a major mission and blam there goes a week o.O. And since we dont know exactly how long Xion stayed in Org XIII, we dont noe how her departure could affect the movement of time for the game...

I agree with Lionsbarrage, I dont see how anyone could go through 358 missions...

well after kingdom hearts three little mermaid sing along thing i just hope in this one they don't put that level if the follow the same game play kh1 or 2 but i hope its better that kh chain of memories

It was supposed to be a Winter 2008 release, but it got pushed back until 2009. So it won't be released until next year...and judging from the previews, I wouldn't mind if it was a long game filled with a lot of missions. It looks really fun to me. I'm really interested in this game. Honestly, I didn't think I would be. I hope it's not too short so that I'll still be asking questions as soon as I complete it...

Think its set for february 09 if it doesnt get pushed back again. Anyways i hope there enough in it to last a good while even if the story mode is short.

If it goes day by day, it would be similar to the Persona 3 concept, in which you follow a calendar (and possibly certain days indicates a 'major mission'). Personally, I doubt it would work =P It's something that mesh well in a school life simulator rather than a world like Kingdom Hearts.

But I go with the Crisis Core approach =P

I say crisis core style, which could take a long time if you complete all the missions and do a lot of fighting. The problem is that crisis core's story was extremely short.

Why it's 358 days and not a full year?:D Well remember how Roxas is supposed to have 7 days of summer vacation left?(When you play as him in KH2.) Well 365-7= 358 Days. A friend of mine told me that Roxas goes to Twilight Town on the 358th day and that in the trailer he says "In 358 days, I will not exist in this world."
So I think 358/2 days actually does take place 358 days:)

Actually what Roxas said was 'I will disappear from this world in 151 days'

The game is supposed to start when Roxas was born/prologue event (by that
I mean, possibly when Sora stabbed himself with the Keyblade) Nomura hasn't
said were the game ends yet. How many days the games cover is still a
mystery. It's not even known if it was exactly 1 year that Sora was in the
pod.

Well i have just heard that it has been pushed back to May 2009 in Japan. But i think they will keep this date hopefully. Im guessing it could end up here anywhere between September and December 2009. Well I also see it as being 358 days of Roxas's journey. If we get to play as him through all of those days, im not sure.

That's not necessarily were the game begins though. And the thread is about the amount of play time the game will consume. Should be 20 to 30 hours.
