Shadow's Destiny 42

Okay, I have been thinking about this idea for a book/book series for well over a year now...
I've got characters named, places named, but there is just one problem...
I don't know what should happen.
The main thing is that there are these 11 people with powerful abilities; they can control the elements [like the Organization, 'cept I don't know if they should be good or evil...]
They are considered to be in the military, but since the world's king died long ago, this 'branch' of military has been governing over these continents.
And now I'm just thinking of who/what they should be fighting against.
One idea that I had is that there could be a Rebellion that was forming and they try to assassinate everyone...
Another was to fight some sort of darkness or an evil.
Or the other kinda good idea was that the main character, Aron, who's the youngest sorta rebels and has to kill everyone in the Hierarchy as I am calling it.

So what do you think I should maybe start off with?
PS- Also, I need a good title- any suggestions?

History of Zi’land
[A brief history of the world of Zi’land]

Geography
Zi’land is made up of five continents; Tun to the north, Fin to the west, San to the south and Gen to the east. Tun is a mostly arctic region with a mountain range to the south. Fin is a giant forest where the Ancients have lived in. San is a large desert area and has the lowest population of all the continents. An island off the east coast, Orr Island, is where fugitives and criminals are sent for there punishment. Gen is a rolling plain, with a giant garden, Horti, as its capital. Kon is located east of Gen and is considered to be the Badlands of Zi’land. To the far north is an arctic area and to the south is a desert. In the middle are some of the tallest and most rugged mountains of Zi’land.

The Ancients
The Ancients were a very spiritual race of human. They have a very strong connection with nature and their main deity is a woman who controls the forces of nature. Modern humans are said to have evolved from them, but lost that connection with nature. They originated in Fin and slowly moved east. They never made it to Kon, but they did travel to the farthest north and south, and saw the flourishing gardens of Gen. The leaders of some of the tribes recorded their groups’ travels in scrolls, which have since been lost. Only a few of them have ever been found. Only a few tribes of Ancients still reside in the densest parts of Fin.

Past Rulers
After the time of the ancients, there was a self-elected king, Bron, and his wife, Meig. Many people thought that since he elected himself, he would be a terrible leader, but they were wrong. After a few years of being the ruler of the mainland [Fin, Tun, San, and Gen] many people thought he was a prophet and saved them from utter destruction. But after 42 years of being king, he stepped down from his throne and gave the power to the highest branch of the army, the Hierarchy. The original Hierarchy was a group of 8 people who could control different forces of nature. Many people believe that they are Ancients, but this has not yet been proven.

The Great War
During the rule of the Hierarchy, the Council of Kon sent an army to invade the mainland. The army first invaded Gen and the Arx . After they killed every living being in the castle, they went on to invade Arkanna, where the Hierarchy resided. But once they got word, the Hierarchy combined their powers with their most advanced technology to try and use nature to diminish the army. The Ancients that resided in Arkanna also tried to assassinate the Hierarchy at the time because they were trying to control nature. But as the army invaded and the technology was used, it backfired and destroyed everyone, including the army, and the city has been deserted since. Now the Council of Kon and the mainland have signed a treaty and peace has reigned between the continents.

Religion
The most common religion of Zi’land was one created by Ancients. Thought most Ancients believed in one Goddess and her many powers, some started a polytheistic religion. They believed that there were 4 Great Spirits; one of Land, one of the Sea, one of the Sky, and One of Space. These Great Spirits worked together to bring both serenity and destruction to the people of Zi’land. Since then, this has been the main religion over Zi’land, though some people still believe in a single Goddess ruling over the land.

Present Day
Since these times, there has been a new Hierarchy. These are very skilled people with the control over the elements. They are the highest branch of military as well as the rulers of the mainland. They work as a group to make decisions about the army, continents, etc.

[B]The 7 Wonders of Zi’land
[Places in Zi’land that have been deemed holy by many]

1. The Tree of Life in Fin
This ordinary-looking tree has been worshiped by many Ancients because of the nectar it gives off. The Ancients use the nectar to cure multiple diseases and injuries. But since it looks like almost every other tree in the Western Forest [Fin], it is rarely ever seen anymore. Legend states that the only true way to know that you have found the Tree of Life is to wait until a full moon, then watch as the tree glows with a greenish aura.

2. The Twin Pyramids of San
These pyramids, located a few short miles from each other, lie in the Southern Desert [San]. They have been around since anybody can remember and are even mentioned in some of the earlier tales of the Ancients. The tales state that a light came from the sky, and people with glowing auras walked from it. Before the strange people left, they constructed these colossal pyramids in a matter of minutes. And as fast as the people appeared, they left and no similar reports have been recorded since then.

3. The Arx in Gen
The Arx is an abandoned castle on the far coast of the Eastern Plain [Gen]. This was the castle of the beloved king, Bron, and his queen, Meig. When the army of Kon invaded Gen during the Great War, they invaded the castle, killing Bron and Meig, their children, their beloved pets and the other people who lived and worked in the castle. It is said to be haunted by everyone who died that night. It is the new residence of the Hierarchy.

4. The 11 Pillars of Tun
These sculptures of ice were made by nature in the Northern Arctic [Tun]. A group of Ancients were traveling through the bitter cold, when they stopped to rest. With a gust of wind and a bright flash of light, these pillars rose from the icy ground floor before their very eyes, or so it has been told. Since then, many people, and Ancients, still make a yearly pilgrimage to the far north to the site of these pillars because it is considered to be one of the best places to connect with nature.

5. The Wandering Caves of Kon
During the Great War, the Konnian army was forced to dig out a maze of thousands of tunnels through the mountains of the Badlands [Kon] so the citizens could be safe in the chance of an invasion. But as the tides turned in the Great War, and Kon got the upper hand and no longer feared invasion, they used them to travel about Kon without having to go through the mountain range. After the Great War was over, and the mainland and Kon reached a peace agreement, these tunnels were forgotten and the maps of the tunnels have been lost. They say that the tunnels change directions to confuse the wanderers even more. Those who have ventured far enough into the caves have said to never return.

6. The Lost City of Arkanna
Arkanna was once a technologically advanced city located on the island in the center of the mainland. It was rustling and bustling with many citizens, but the very reason for its downfall was because of the advanced technology they were using. They were trying to use their technology to control nature. Nature retaliated and gigantic tsunamis and powerful hurricanes struck the land, killing every one of its inhabitants. Some buildings were destroyed, but many are still standing to this day. Some people also refer to Arkanna as the ‘Hallowed Lands’.

7. The Vortex
Ancient tales speak of the ruler of the Vortex, but nobody knows who this is. The Vortex is a mystical portal to the Spirit World and other legends say that it is a black hole that can absorb life forces of people, destroying whole armies. Many people think that the mainland won the Great War because the master of the Vortex showed himself and used its power to destroy the Konnian army.

The Hierarchy
[11 people make up this group that rules over the mainland]

1. Keira
Female – late twenties – STARS – Beloved Guardian [purple and silver shield and 7 stars]
She has golden eyes and long, violet hair. She is the strongest of the 11 but she rarely shows it. She leads the others in battle, but hardly ever fights herself. She is thought to hold an amazing power inside her.

2. Ehroz
Male – mid fifties – TIME – Chaos [silver chain and dark blue pendulum]
He has golden eyes and is bald with a white goatee. As the oldest member, he believes that he should be the leader of the Hierarchy and is jealous of Keira. His powers almost match those of Keira’s.

3. Terran
Male – early thirties – EARTH – Giga Fist [gigantic silver hammer]
He has dark, brown eyes and spiked, brown hair. Probably the only reason he has high ranks is because he is the strongest physically. He is not very intelligent and cannot use his ability to control land very well.

4. Joel
Male – mid thirties – WATER – Poseidon’s Wrath
He has deep, blue eyes and short, blue hair. He is seen as the most psychotic or crazy one of the group. He isn’t afraid to speak his mind and he has a short temper.

5. [B]Bess
Female – late teens – SOUND – Rhapsody and Strike [two brass cymbals with spikes]
She has hazel eyes and medium-length, grey hair in pigtails. She is a twin to fellow member Benn. They act very similar and are often seen as ‘cocky’ because of their high ranks and such young age.

6. Benn
Male – late teens – WIND – Heaven and 1000 Deaths [purple bow with arrows]
He has hazel eyes and shaggy, grey hair. Twin to Bess, he is also very cocky. He and Bess are very strong for their young age and are not scared to prove it. They are often looking for fights to show their strength.

7. Vencent
Male – late twenties – THUNDER – Spark Shot [large black and yellow gun]
He has light blue eyes and a blonde Mohawk and wears thunderbolt earrings. He is the rebel of the group. He often complains about doing work and his not-so-good rank, but is often told to forget about it.

8. Aurora
Female – early forties – FLOWER – Divinity
She has blue-green eyes and long, pink hair. She is depressed most of the time and keeps to herself. Nobody knows what depresses her so much because she never talks to any of the other members.

9. [B]Xack
Male – mid twenties – ICE – Frostbite [tall spear of ice]
He has dull, grey eyes and short, brown hair with slim, black glasses. He is the most intelligent of the members, except maybe Keira, and loves to show it. He is often seen with a Lexicon of the Anicents.

10. Renna
Female – early twenties – FIRE – Passion and Fury [two daggers with red and gold handles]
She has blood red eyes and long, curly, red hair. She is the most laid back member of the group. She is proud to be a part of the Hierarchy. She mentors Aron when he joins the hierarchy.

11. Aron
Male – mid teens – DARK – Shadow’s Destiny [black odd-shaped blade]
He has deep, green eyes and shaggy black hair. He is the youngest member to ever join the Hierarchy and is often quiet and secretive, only talking about himself to Renna.

I'd like to help you out with this, I love writing and it seems like you've got something here. It would help if you posted those 3 pages of history, opens more doors for which way you should take and also a title as well.

165 years ago, a just king, Bryon, ruled over the land of Zi’land, with his faithful queen Meig. They lived well, with seven children, and brought hope and joy to Zi’land. But soon everything changed – a rebellion was formed in the far eastern mountains to bring down the king. They invaded his castle and slaughtered him and his family, and thus the Great War started.

Since then, after the Great War, Zi’land has been ruled not by one person, but a group of powerful people, rather, called the Order. These people have command over the different continents and the elements, as well. The leader of the Fourth Order, Keira, is very strong and wise. Ehroz, the next in command is also very powerful, but is jealous and unkind. Terran is very dimwitted but physically strong. Joel is seen as having a scary and crazy personality. Bess and Benn are two twins who are very alike- they are both proud of their power. Vencent is rebellious, but faithful to the Order. Aurora, despite her name, is very quiet and depressed. Xack is proud to be intelligent and inquisitive. Renna is proud to serve her spot on the Fourth Order. And then there is Aron. Aron is quiet and very secretive, reluctant to show himself to others.

Now the Fourth Order is facing a new challenge. A strong evil is growing. Called on by an envious man, Wako, the God of pure evil and darkness, has slowly been taking over the land. Greggor, the man who summoned Wako’s power, is now a being of the darkness. It is up to the Fourth Order to work together to fight the Shadows and Greggor, and finally seal the evil God for eternity.

The members of the Fourth Order, sent by the other four Gods, have to travel across the world to find the Seven Wonders. These Seven Wonders, triggered by the Gods, lead the members of the Fourth Order to travel to an alternate world to complete secret missions. These missions allow the Fourth Order to obtain secret powers used to defeat Greggor and Wako.

But what happens when some members are questioning their alliance to the light?

Yeah, but idk...
I could, possibly do that.
And take bits and pieces into the book.
Or I could wait a lotta' years and make it as a video game.

I'm just not sure.

I also need another name for Renna.
I don't like it.

... Then what should I do?
I'm not sure.
My uncle said it would be good, but he has the IQ of a 10-year-old girl...

Well this is some really good information, alot of detail and well thought out here. There are many ways to go with this. In your opinion, what way are you most leaning towards? There has to a favorite out of the options you've thought of.

An RPG would be easy, but I'd have less control over the story...
A video game would require me to have a designing degree and possibly over a year to make...
Writing a story would be quickish and more control over the story line...

Idk.
