I've watched it. It was pretty good. Very dark, definitely not for the kids. The first time I watched it, it was in English dub... I plan to go back and watch it again in JP (thank goodness).

I have them, translated to portuguese =). I simply loved it. It's very deep. And notice that at some point of the story, you don't know who are the villains or heroes, because even heroes can turn into villains and vice-versa. And it earns bonus points for gore and blood. And even more for "Lilium", the main theme, which I can sing with soprano voice ^.^

Lucy = win. I watched it twice it was so great. Although it was very gory, the great story is what kept me addicted.

Loved it. way too gory, plus the nudity, yeah my kids weren't around to see that. The story is so good though. I mean these things are created and they're monsters, but they don't want to be. The ending just killed me. I totally cried when the dad took his daughter and walked off with her so they could both die, but together. Yeah great anime. Lots of higher meanings.;)

It only gets more and more messed up and great. The story is solid and you'll probably have to watch it a couple of times to get all of the little details that become so important. If you love this anime you should definitly check out Gilgamesh. It is way twisted but great anime.-Sarahphina;)

Luckily I have seen Elfin Lied, but there was some series before where you posted a huge spoiler and I was like, "DOH!"... Fortunately I've forgotten what it was.

it has great resons 2 love it!

1.it's bloody(BlOoDsHeD!)

2.it can be very twisted 0.o

3.storyline is amazing

4.i love the art that the creator used

5.the beginning song (Lillium) makes me wanna dance to it

6.the story makes you addicted.you want 2 watch more and More and MORE!!!

7.characters are 2 cute 4 words! (even lucy when she's mad she looks cute XP)

i just watched the whole anime today and i have to say that i really really enjoyed it. it was like you couldnt wait what was going to happen next and i liked the whole Yuka/Kouta/Lucy(Nyu) triangle lol

I like Elfen Lied :) Lucy is about the 4th most amazing cereal-killer on my list, and that's a pretty coveted spot. The opening and closing themes are probably my favourites from any anime :D I recommend the manga also...it's just as good, with extra story/characters, though be warned it probably has more sexual content than the anime (though the same level of violence...:maniac:)

I last watched this last year, i thought it was so amazing, very romantic but at the same time very violent.

Well i decided to watch anime again because i have not watched it in a long time, apart from death note :)

I have decided to watch Elfen Lied and what better way to start me off than 13 Episodes lolz :P
