What are some of the highlights from 2008?
I think overall the morale from the forums got a big boost when the update arrived. And, come on. Everyone loves to end the year with one of our favorite Staff Members coming back. Overall I say it's been a pretty good year.
Forum-wise? Um, there has been a lot of changes throughout 2008, I must admit. Sudden changes, we got new staff members, a lot of promotions and what not, the spectacular new skin with the updates. Those, are highlights in my opinion. I'd like to point out that the SSFW was quite a success, I still cannot make myself believe how much fame it managed to arise. So, that was one event that I would highlight for this previous year too.
Who do you think contributed the most to the forums?
The entire staff.
Kyo and RXS have helped me out so much with the Main Site.
I'd probably have to go with Wzrdto25. Wzrdto25 led a few teams, which can be pretty tough at times, I'm guessing, but he managed to do a decent job, for the most part. He thought of events to make the Forum more fun and stuff. Then he got a bit inactive and stopped doing stuff. :\
I think my fellow Administrators and Co-Administrators have contributed a hella lot: DragoonKain, Kaito, Sora, Miss Lockheart, Twilight Dragon. They've put a lot of effort into making the forums as they are right now. Honestly, the entire community has tried hard this year, and I see a difference. The teams have contributed a lot overall, too.
Were you sad to see anyone leave this year?
Hey, everyone needs to go at one point in time, it's hoping they come back that keeps them here spiritually.
It's always sad for the site when someone leaves, but most of the time, they come back. The people I missed came back, so it's not so sad anymore.
Do you disagree with any of the staff changes made this year? No names are needed.
I don't personally. I've been making the choices for awhile now. So, I hope I don't disagree with me.
Actually I don't. When some people are made staff and such, I do sometimes speculate the decision. I'm always proven wrong.
In all honesty, yeah, kinda.
What are some of the changes we can expect in 2009?
A lot, I can't let out anything yet. But, I can only promise it'll be good. I'm cooking something up for you guys ^^.
That is a surprise, I guess, don't want to ruin the fun now, lol. (...I don't know anything really, lol)
Anything else you want to add?
I just want to thank everyone for being such a big help. Even if you aren't on staff, just sticking around and being apart of the communty makes my job easier. I like seeing communication. Keep it up. =]
Uh... go, Kh3.org...?
FROM ALEX
The highlight was definitely the update. It totally got me inspired to do a bit more work around these parts.
I think everyone contributes a lot. For me, I mainly communicate with Kain and Kota. As well as that, we're working on something new for you guys to appreciate.
It's sad when anyone who is a regular decides they don't want to be anymore, but such is life.
I trust my boys and girls to select only the finest staff. So no.
Huge changes around our network. I do not know yet how many changes there will be specifically to kingdomhearts3.org, but I know kingdomhearts3.net will move up a gear. As mentioned, there'll also be a big project announced shortly which I hope will captivate the KH3 fanbase.
I'd like to thank everyone for remaining loyal to our site and forums, and especially Kain for not retiring on me just yet
xoxoxo
And on that note, Go us! We have endured another year with this site and with the impending release of the new games, we can only go up from here!
