What just happened... ?


One minute, Peter was standing in New York City, and the next he is in his bedroom, looking blankly at his computer screen. He looks at his LCD Clock and sees that it says 6:30 PM, August 27th, almost two weeks in the past.

He had no idea what had happened. Had he had a dream? Had he dreamed everything that just happened? He pointed his finger at his clock and a bolt of lightning shot out of it, destroying the clock. Shocked, he realized it wasn't a dream. He was even more shocked at what he had just done. He had meant to blow up the clock with Diego's fire power. He never got the power of electricity.

Peter walks to his TV and turns it on, not really knowing what to expect. The first station that caught his attention was a news station. The man on TV spoke.

"... and the strange occurences continue. Apparently, every single air plane in the world simply refuses to leave the ground, as if it's wheels are glued down, although they obviously aren't. Trains' wheels won't spin, cars won't start. Worldwide transportation has been screwed up.

Furthermore, we are reporting SNOW in Florida and most of the southern United States, and although we have very little news correspondents in the Arctic, from what we can tell, the Ice Caps are slowly melting.

Meteorologists around the world realize what this means. If the Ice Caps melt, most of the world will be completely underwater. Although this is very unlikely and these weird anomalies with most likely go away soon, we HIGHLY suggest you move to higher ground in anticipation for what may come."

Peter's mouth dropped open as he finished reading this and he ran to his window. Sure enough, the streets outside were filled with snow, and more coming down rapidly.

"What the hell is happening?!" Peter yelled out desperately, running out of his house in the same clothes he was wearing two weeks in the future. He attempted to melt some of the snow around him, but the electric power came out again.

"Damn...."

What had happened to the world that had messed up the Heroes' powers?

"Shut up and let me go, this hurts I tell you so, for the last time you will kiss my lips, no shut up and let me go." His phone rang. It was Becca. "UGH!" He got up and yawned, tired. He had gotten a rude awakening. He stretched out his arms and got up. He picked up his phone and then held it to his ear. "Yes?" But when he put the phone to his ear, it felt like ice. He looked at his phone. "EEP!" He exclaimed. He looked around. "This HAS to be a dream. There's NO WAY this could be happening." He said to himself. He saw a soda can on the shelf. "Okay, I'm going to grab it, and make it appear in my other hand." He said. He tried to concentrate as he reached out for it. His hand touched it and it was slowly frozen. "you have to be kidding me. You HAVE to be KIDDING me. What day is it? How is this happening!?" He quickly looked over to his calendar, it was nearly two weeks ago. "but.. wha?" but then he spied something on the desk. A card, from Becca. He knocked it on the ground and used his feet to open it. It had our picture on it, and had the words 'Best friends' on it. He sighed. "yah right..." Hetried to put clothes on the best he could. It was difficult. But since he was so tired, he didn't realise, He was already wearing clothes. "Baka..." He left the room and went outside.

Roman yawned as he slowly woke up in his own bed, his muggy mind slowly progressed the fact that he was asleep in his own bed. It took a few more mintues for the fact to regester with his brain. What the hell??? He thought to himself. Wasn't I with Peter and the others......wait.. Roman quickly got up dressed and looked at his calendar.....it was two weeks ago.

Roman's fast brain quickly raced through the facts, until it came to the obivous conlusion. Someone.....rewond time......but then why do I still remeber.....of course, it must be because of my powers. Roman quickly ran down the stairs and out the door. Walking into the hot Australian sunshine, Roman reliesed that he needed to get a message to Peter, and quick, he concetracted on his illision power and was imanging the words. "PETER!" In the air, when suddenly a metal block came out of nowhwere and was rushing straight towards him. "Crap!" He swore as he closed his eyes and held out his hands, imanging a wall appear in front of him, instead the metal stopped. "What in the....' Roman muttered as he tried to create an illision.....he couldn't, but the metal moved into his hands. "WHAT???.......my powers have changed..." Roman murmered as he reliesed he could control and manipulate metal.

Well...the space time thingy, must be messed up.......I wonder if anybody else's power changed......anyway.... Roman knew Peter would reach him in time, so he started to walk to a near by junkyard to test his new powers.

C-Cold... S-So c-cold...

Silence. Only somewhere could be heard water drops hitting ground. Cave. Dark, wet cave. Arthur opened his eyes. If there had been some light, someone near him Would have seen his pale face. He even didn't try to look around. He knew it's worthless.
"He's awake." Said voice. Deep low voice.
"W-Who's th-here?" Muttered Arthur. Again silence. No one replied. Arthur tried to stay on his two own legs but worthless - as he stood, his head went dizzy and he fell back on ground.
I'm alive but how?
A voice. a well known voice.
"Hey there boy!" Said woman.
"Y-You! Where am I? What happened?" Arthur asked.
"You did what you had to do. Now, you can rest." Said woman.
"No! I must get to Peter! I must warn him!" Arthur said.
"You even don't have powers anymore..." said Woman.
Guess again. Arthur closed his eyes.

Rex looked out the window and tried to make it rain but for some odd reason the clouds never moved. "What the hell's going on?" Rex said as he tried and tried to make it rain but couldn't. "Damn it" Rex yelled. Suddenly the glass shattered into a million pieces. "Whoa...instead of controlling the weather....I'm able to control sound...this is like a demotion for me" Rex said as he sighed.

Nails tried to make a fire ball come out of his hand but he couldn’t. “Man don’t tell me I lost my powers” Nails said as he sighed. “Actually….I think we might have switched our powers” Dark said as a small flame appeared in his hand. “So…you have my fire power…and I can make people see illusions…sweet” Nails said smiling. “Well…it’s not sweet for me” Zack said as he changed into a cat. “I got vipers power” Zack said as he changed back. “Wait…then that means” Viper said as she lifted her hand and Zack’s two guns lifted up from the ground. “No wonder you love metal so much” Viper said smiling. “Me and Seether switched…I like it actually….it’s no different from my power” Mark said. “I couldn’t care less” Seether said. “Shadow…silver…did you two switch powers” Nails asked. “Yea…but who cares” Shadow said. “I’m with my brother” Silver said smiling.

Diego was swimming in his own little world. He could vividly see all his friends.
Not just friends. Fellow heroes.
He saw all the events. He pictured him fighting with Nails and his gang. Him shooting fire out of his hands to protect himself. He also remembers when Rex saved him. But it all seemed like a dream. Like it was all a figment of his imagination. But Diego knew it was all real it had to be. Suddenly he snapped out of it. He bolted upright from his bed. He was out of breath and slightly covered in a small layer of sweat. His long black hair covered his eyes blurring his vision for a second. He pushed the hair out of his face and wiped the sweat from his brow with his covers. He looked around and saw he was in his room, in his own house, back in Miami. "Wha- what am I doing here?!" He got out of his bed and went to his table. He looked over at his calendar and saw the date. "What? It's 2 weeks ago?" He looked at his clothing and saw that it was the suit he had been wearing when he was in New York. Still covered with the slight hints of blood, dust, and plaster that had fallen on him during his adventure. The suit was slightly wrinkled due to his sleeping in it and having it on for such a long time. "OK that is freaky." Diego needed some answers he grabbed his remote and flipped on his TV. He changed it to the news and saw the story of the hour flash on the screen.
Scientist fear end of world!
He watched as they explained everything. All about the polar ice caps, raising sea waters, and the extreme conditions. Then they mentioned snow and Miami. He couldn't believe it. He ran to the front of his house stared at his front door. He reached for the knob and opened the door. A brisk breeze invaded his home and snow piled into his house. Diego quickly closed the door. "This can't be happening." Then Diego noticed something. His house. It seemed much too quiet. He checked his watch and saw that it was almost 1. Everybody should have been home and running around. He ran to his parents room and found it completely deserted. Only a small layer of dust covered the floor. He then checked his sisters room and found it in the same state. Then another thought entered his head. When he woke up his brother wasn't in his bed either.
My family is all gone....
Diego panicked a little he didn't know what to do. He cleared his mind and focused. Then he got it. "I have to call Peter." He ran to his room again and grabbed his cell phone. He pressed the number 6 and speed-dialed Peter. He waited for him to answer.

Peter laid his bare feet in his front yard, which was now covered in snow and shivered immediately. "Brrrrrrrr," he said absentmindedly. The falling snow quickly covered his hair and he shook it out, only to have it re-covered.

Roman walked into the nearby junkyard, looking all around him and smiled. He may not have his illision's or be able to create stuff anymore, but a least he had powers, and maybe just maybe he could get his other powers back. Shaking his head to rid himself of these thoughts, he entered the junkyard. Now if I'm right.......I should be able to control metal With that thought Roman held out his right hand and imagined a long stick of metal he could see in the corner into his hand, the piece of metal rushed towards his hand, and he easliy grabbed it. I wonder.... He looked at the piece of metal and tried to bend it with his mind, suddenly the metal stick, became a metal ball. 'Sweet...." Roman murmered. After practising for about 2 hourse and learning more about his new powers he walked home and waited for Peter to contact him.

Diego kept the phone to his ear but the all he kept getting was Peter's voicemail. "Dammit Peter, I always pick up when you call. Return the favor once in a while." Diego closed his cell phone and put it in his pocket. It was then that he noticed that he was cold. His hands were numb and white. "Hmmmm I should warm myself up a bit." He walked to his living room and went over to the fireplace he had. He loaded it up with firewood. He stepped back a couple of feet and put his arm out in front of him. He concentrated and felt the power flowing through him. But it felt different this time. He ignored it and kept concentrating. He finally felt enough store up and fired. But no fire came out. Instead it was something else. It looked like lightning. The lightning struck the wood and caused it to crack a splinter, sending pieces of wood everywhere. Diego ducked for cover as the pieces of wood came flying at him. "What the hell! I was never able to do that!" Diego looked down at his hands. "What happened to my powers?"

Roman streched from his workout and slowly walked home, while using his mind to rotate a piece of metal above is head. He dropped the piece of metal as he reached his house and walked inside. As he walked into his room, he noticed a piece of paper on his desk, he walked over to it while turning on the TV. As he listened to the TV, he read the paper which said. "Diego's phone number" and then had a number listed. Roman shrugged to himself as he turned off the TV and picked up his phone. Might as well try......even though that paper wasn't there before.. Roman thought as he dialed the number.

Diego by the fireplace. Pieces of wood scattered across the floor. A small but warm flame danced in the fireplace. The lightning he had produced had been able to conceive a flame. His hands were stuck out to the flame slowly collecting the heat that it gave off. The wood crackled and popped as the energy from the wood began to be used. "I need more wood..." Diego mumbled to himself as he noticed the amount of wood he had. "He looked over to the supply he had brought in and saw that it was dwindling. "When did I use all the wood?!" He groaned silently to himself. Diego looked around his living to find another source of fuel. He saw the upright piano he had played since he was 6 and some wooden antique chairs his mother had collected. "I can't use those too many memories..." Diego slowly got up from where he was sitting and started walking towards his room. He walked into his room and saw the wooden frame of his bed. "That will do... Now how do I take it apart..." He looked down at his hand instinctively. "I guess it will do good practice..." Diego closed his eyes and raised his hand slowly gathering energy into his index fingers. He felt the energy gathering. He opened his eyes slowly and released the energy. Lightning bolted out of his fingers and hit the bed frame breaking it into large pieces. Diego laughed to himself. He felt as though he was just discovering his powers again. "That was amazing!" Diego was able to control himself when he heard something.

It was his cell phone. Diego fumbled for it. He patted his chest and then pockets. He had forgotten where he put it. The ringtone was now on it's 3 run. "Come one, come on...." He finally felt it in his inside coat pocket. He reached in and grabbed it. He checked the caller I.D. and saw that it was an unknown number. "Don't care I need to talk to someone..." He flipped the phone open and put the speaker to his ear. "Hello? Who is this?"

Peter fell to his knees and looked down onto the snowy ground. What was going on?

With a sigh, he stood up and walked back inside. He had preparations to make. He searched within himself, an ability he guessed came with his original power. It was like looking through a catalogue of powers. He quickly took stock of all his new useful powers and got dressed in winter appropriate clothes.

Arthur once again opened his eyes. Now, he wasn't in cave. Now, he was in building. He was captured in glass thing.
"Pinehearst..." He muttered. He was in great danger now. But how he got here, he had no clue.
If I'm gonna find Her once again, I'm gonna KILL her for bringing me here!

Roman sighed in relief as Diego answered his phone. "Diego" He said into the phone. "It's me Roman.......please tell me you remember what happened like 2 weeks in the future.....oh and did your powers change? Cause my powers changed into metal manipulation?" Roman had many questions, but these would do for Diego at first.

Diego didn't know what to think or say. It wax as though Roman had taken the words right out of his mouth. Finally after a bit of awkward silence Diego was finally able to say something. "Roman.... It's so nice to hear from you... And yeah I remember everything. As for powers yes mine changed. I think I can do electricity now." Then Diego thought about something. "Roman! Have you seen the news lately? Has there been any weird weather in your area?" Diego was hoping that what was happening to him in Miami was just a remote incident and that it wasn't happening everywhere else in the world. They had not said anything about other parts in the world. He was hoping that he was right. But there was a part in him that was thinking that all of this could not have been isolated it it must be happening everywhere else.

Dusty was used to the cold, so he didn't mind. But thi was a bit more than he was used to. He sighed as he walked down a random street. H looked to his left and saw a rose bush, that hadn't been overly effected by the cold yet. He grabbed and then, it slowly frosted over. He sighed. He let it drop. It flipped and then landed, petal first. Shattering into many peices. He sighed. He continued walking. Then he began to lose track of where he was. "Where..." He couldn't tell because snow covered the signs up. And to make things worse, some snow clearing machine drove past him and a pile of snow was sent flying at him. He fell to the ground. Snow covered him. He teared a bit. and cried. Why was this happening? He was lost and had no clue where he was.. Snow was covering some of him. So he layed there, crying.

Elaine stood in the deserted Pinehearst building and watched ZAO run off. Now she was truly alone. She had lied to ZAO when she told him that she had woke up that morning to find everyone gone. She actually never had a family or friends. Her family had left her for dead when she was five years old but she had somehow survived until now. She had got a job as soon as she could to make money to go to school and to eat. It was no surprise ZAO didn't recognize her when she said she was in his class. No one noticed her. She was just the little shy girl in the corner if she was anything at all. Turning and looking around she tried to find out what she could. She sat down at a computer. She was just searching when something caught her eye. THE DOWNFALL OF PINEHEARST was the name of the file she noticed. She clicked it and then clicked another file inside of that one, Those Who Caused The Downfall. A list of names popped up.:

Arthur, Peter, Diego, Dusty, Vince, Roman, Rex, ........

There were other names on the list as well but she stopped reading after a while. "They.... caused the downfall?" Elaine thought. "That's why this place is deserted. It doesn't exist anymore. It's just an empty building." Elaine then printed out the list of names. "They might be helpful." she thought. Then all of a sudden Elaine went flying through the computer screen. She found herself in an empty house with snow falling outside. She looked around. "Where am I? And how did I get here?" she wondered. She noticed a note on a table. It read: "House abandoned. Strange weather. My family and I are getting out of here. You may use house if you please." Elaine looked around. She then walked over to the television and turned it on. It was the news channel describing strange events happening around the world. "Florida? How did I get there?"she thought. Then she looked at the calender on the wall. "August 27....." as she read it Elaine's eyes widened. "What the heck?!" It was almost one thousand years in the past. "How...What happened?" she thought. Then she looked down at the list in her hands.

The quiet bubbling of the water in the kettle and the radio was the only noise which would be heard in the whole house, that and the chattering of her teeth.
The heating had gone, well it had never been there. Becca had never found the need to ever use the heating before, but right now she was shivering, wrapped in her blanket which trailed on the ground behind her. Why after all this time as she suddenly felt so cold? What was worse was the fact everything was normal. No icy patches, no frozen water. It seemed like a normal house.

It's a difficulty and I'm biting on my tongue-
She paused, it was extremely unusual for a radio station to change track in the middle of the song, even more strange was the fact it changed as soon as she said. "No way, that couldn’t be it..."
Running her fingers through her dyed red hair she shuffled over to teh counter where the radio rested, dragging the blanket behind her. There was only one way to solve this mystery.

"Change the track to... P!nk - This is how it goes dow-" Before she could even finish the guy at the other end of the radio had already anouced the song Becca had asked for in her own kitchen, and then it started playing. The famiiler voice of her hero sang to her. "Dear god not this..."

Everything went black. The whole world seemed to vanish into a hollow void of oblivion. Human emotions held no usefulness in the empty realm. Everything felt extremely numb. The boy’s mind would not function properly, denying every vital action he requested.

Then, a deafening, irritating resound radiated from the nothingness, beckoning the teenager to come back to the horrible reality. The dark essence the consumed his thought was slowly turning to light, allowing his mind to register what unexplainable action that had just taken place.

It was time for the boy to wake up.

“What happened? Vince finally spoke as his wandering gaze met the dull, white plaster of the ceiling above his existence. “Did I fall asleep?”

The fire manipulator hastily raised his torso upwards, ignoring the tender bruises that were residing on his back. However, to his surprise, he was not with his precious friends anymore. He was not even in London, which was where his home was located. He was in his old house in Florida, right before his family had made the important decision to move to London, England.

“I’m back in Florida?” the adolescent questioned; a hint of confusion inhabited his maturing voice. “I only moved to London a week ago.”

Vince quickly jumped from the warm sanctuary of his bed, briskly landing on the solid carpet that lined the floor. His pace was fast, but he still kept a tranquil, collect aura. He had to find out what had just happened, and panicking would not increase his chances of finding out.

“I.... Need some water,” Vince said as he walked into his standard kitchen. “That’ll calm my nerves.”

The young hero unhurriedly raised his hand toward the silver, metallic faucet by the kitchen sink. He was trying to manipulate the particles of water that dwelled with the metal doom of the valve, but something was wrong. It was taking him longer then usual, and there was still no result.

Suddenly, a burst of combustion ignited into his hand. The inferno hurdled forward, out of his reach, and collided with the curtains above the sink. The white, beautiful pattern on the drapes darkened as the fire burned the fabric into ashes.

“My curtains are.... on FIRE!?”

Diego didn't know what to think or say. It wax as though Roman had taken the words right out of his mouth. Finally after a bit of awkward silence Diego was finally able to say something. "Roman.... It's so nice to hear from you... And yeah I remember everything. As for powers yes mine changed. I think I can do electricity now." Then Diego thought about something. "Roman! Have you seen the news lately? Has there been any weird weather in your area?" Diego was hoping that what was happening to him in Miami was just a remote incident and that it wasn't happening everywhere else in the world. They had not said anything about other parts in the world. He was hoping that he was right. But there was a part in him that was thinking that all of this could not have been isolated it it must be happening everywhere else.

Roman nodded his head as he heard what Diego was saying. He was thankful that he wasn't the only one this had happened to. When Diego told him to turn on the TV, he quickly switched it back on. "No Diego....nothing wrong here....." Roman's words froze in his mouth as the man on the TV reported that the ice caps near Australia would soon melt and that the bottom half of Australia would soon be flooded. Roman quickly replayed all this to Diego, while his troubled mind, tried to figure out what to do.

You need to get the next flight out of Australia and take it to Miami. Ok? Immediately this is of highest immportance. We need to figure out what's wrong with us... Well what's more wrong with us. OK Roman I need to go now. I'll call me once your on your way here." Diego hung up the phone once he finished talking not waiting for Roman to reply. He quickly went into hus closet and picked out a coat to keep hiim warm in the outside weather. He quickly ran out his house not bothering to lock the door. He ran down his street towards Peter's house. He made a quick left down the street where Peter lived. He finally arrived at Peter's house; out of breath and tired. He quickly knocked on the door and yelled out for Peter.

Dusty got up. He would be freezing but he wasn't. Weird. He looked around. He saw someone who looked familiar. But he didn't have the energy to get up. When he did, he casually walked in the direction that person went. He kept his hands free to make sure he didn't freeze anything, and continued walking. Smiling. He looked at his hair. "I wonder...." He said, then touched the tip. It began to freeze, and it turned a white. He let go, and then the tips of his hair were all white. "nice." he commented himself. He continued walking in the direction. Being aware of any trucks so he didn't get buried in snow.

"Hey!" Dusty called, waving. He saw the person. He definitely looked familiar. "May I ha-" He said as he was close to him, but was interrupted when he walked on icy ground and slid, tripped, and fell. He twitched. "OW!!" He said, he didn't dare touch his scraped chin, however. He slowly got up, and then looked over to the person. "..Hi." He was embarrassed. Greatly.

Arthur sat on floor. Inside, he all was scared but outside he tried to keep himself as calm as possible. This wasn't time to panic.
"Well, well well... our guest is calm." Said man.
"And what did you expect? That I'd be running around, panicking?" Arthur asked.
"That wouldn't be some bad idea!" Said man and laughed in cold laughs. Arthur shivered.
"Why I am here? HOW did I get here?" Arthur asked.
"That's not your buisness kid!" Said man.
"Excuse me, but I AM HERE IN THIS GLASS PRISON AND I HAVE RIGHTS TO KNOW." Arthur shouted.
"No." Said man. Arthur made fists with his hands. Came another man. First one whispered something into second ones ear. That one called someone.
"It's time to do some torturing." Man said.
"No!" Arthur yelled. He saw some small vents opening and releasing some kind of gas. It made Arthur sleepy and he blacked out.
"Bring him to lab. And make sure he is awake. I want him feel the pain." Man said. Arthur was brought to laboratory.

Roman nodded as Diego hang up the phone, To Miami.....hmmm.... Roman thought to himself, that wouldn't be as hard as it seemed, his parents were out on a two week hoilday and he had the home to himself. He quickly ran down the stairs and grabbed his emeregency credit card, he then ran up the airport and booked a flight for himself in 2 hours. Now....how to get to the airport........I could take a taxi.....or.... Roman smiled to himself as he ran outside, and looked at the piece of metal, imaginging it as a sort of board, the metal quickly changing to match his will, he then jumped up upon the board and using his new metal ablity made it hover. 'BOYA!" Roman yelled out as he made the board rise to the sky above the clouds and fly towards the airport.

An hour later Roman was at the airport, he checked in, getting strange looks from the airport people. And went to board his plane, he settled into his seat and sat back for a long flight.

Diego heard some coming but thought nothing of it.
Just maybe someone lost in the snow
He laughed at this thought. The thought that it was snowing in Miami and that he could actually say that now. But the voice kept calling out. Now Diego was sure that they were calling for him. He turned around to see no one there. He looked down to see the same kid, Dusty, he had saved just a few days ago.
No not days ago..... 2 weeks in the future.
He put himself on guard just incase. He, after all, had tried to get him and his friends a few days ago.
Two weeks.....
He stuck out his hand and Dusty accepted it. He helped him up and helped him dust off. After he was done he began with the questions.
"Ok what are you doing here? Are you following me? What happened with your powers? And what did you do with your hair?"
Diego inspected Dusty's hair and saw that the tips where now white. Last time

he saw him they were his normal hair color.
"So answer me..."

Roman's plane flew into Mami, and Roman shook himself awake, and yawned. It had been a long flight, he lookedf at a clock on the wall, and laughed to himself, it was the same time here as he left. Weird.....timezone difference... Roman thought to himself as he walked out of the airport, he had no baggage to carry or whatever. As he was walking he pulled out his phone and turned it on, he then called Diego, waiting for an answer.

At that moment Diego's phone began to ring. He fumbled for his cellphone and checked the caller ID. He noticed that it was an unknown number.
It's Roman....
"Excuse me Dusty. It will only be a second." He clicked the answer key and put it to his ear.
"Roman it's so nice to hear from you again. And so soon that's really good. Ok I have to make this quick I have another friend with us here. I need you to get a cab and take it to 250 Bay Shore Drive. You'll end up at a condo building. Go to the front desk and tell them that you are one of my friends they will send you up to my room. I need you to stay there while I get a few more people. 250 Bay Shore Drive remember that. Ok I have to go now. People to save and all. I'll see you soon." He hung up the phone again without waiting. He put it back into his pocket and looked over at Dusty. "Thanks for waiting. Now if you don't mind lets see who's home." Diego raised his hand up to the door and shot electricity at the door, splintering the door on contact. He walked into the house as though he opened the door normally. "Peter where are you?!" Diego ran towards Peter's room and ran inside finding Peter about to run out of his room. "Peter, What the hell don't you listen!" Peter just looked at him with his mouth opened in shock. "Ughh I don't have time for this Peter we need to find everyone else." He grabbed Peter and Dusty and dragged them outside. As he stepped outside a limo pulled up to the house and the driver honked the horn. "Thank god right one time." He ran towards the limo with Peter and Dusty behind him. He opened the door and threw Dusty and Peter inside. He got in after they got settled. "To The Jade James. And please hurry."
"Ofcourse sir." He car accelerated and pulled out of the street.
Diego brought up the divider and looked over at Peter.
"So.... How much do you know?"

Smiling to himself he used his new power to rip some metal out of the wall, and make into a board, hoping onto the metal board he made it hover in the air, he then flew all the way above the clouds to 250 Bay Shore Drive.

After 30 mintues Roman arrivered at 250 Bay Shore Drive, he landed and went into the condo, looking around the flash place, he walked up towards the front desk and spoke to the women there. He then went up the lift and into Diego's room, he then sat down and waited.

Elaine was about to walk out the door when she remembered it was snowing outside. "I should probably put something warmer on."she thought. She then went and rummaged through the closets in the house. She found clothes to keep her warm and put them on. Walking out the door she wrote down the address of the house. "Just in case I need to come back here sometime. .... Maybe I'll be able to get home that way.

Walking around the city she tried to make herself invisible. Many times she walked up to people and asked them if they could see her and she always got the same response. "Well of course I can see you. Why wouldn't I be able to?" is what the people would say. "I....I can't turn invisible anymore. What is happening to me?" she exclaimed to herself. Elaine sat down on a bench. While she was sitting down she stared at a building and all after a little while she realized she could see the people inside. "What the..?" As she was saying that she felt herself falling backwards and found herself on the ground behind the bench. "Again...What the heck?!' She then walked up to the building she could see through. She looked at her hand and then ran it through the side of the building. "I can see and move through walls!" she smiled as she thought about it. "That's cool."

After her discovering her newly found powers Elaine walked around and asked people about the people on her list. After not having any luck she finally found someone who knew of someone named Diego. They told her that he had a condo at 250 Bay Shore Drive. Finding her way there she went inside the condo. "Excuse me." Elaine said to the receptionist lady. "I'm looking for someone named Diego." "Oh yes," the lady said. "He was expecting guests today." They lady gave her the room number and directed her towards it. "Thank you." Elaine said. Walking up to the room she knocked on the door and then opened it. "Hello?" she saw a man sitting in the room. "Excuse me....Are you Diego?"

Suddenly there was a knock at the door, and it opened to reveal an attractive young women, she looked at Roman and asked if he was Diego. Roman slowly got up from the couch and responded to the young lady in his Australian drawl. "Nope.....I'm not Diego, I'm Roman.......I'm acctually waiting for Diego this very mintue....and you would be?" He asked

She then went on to explain what had happened about how she had been in the abandoned Pinehearst building in her own time, found a list of names of people who were supposedly those "who brought about the downfall", and found herself here. "I didn't know what else to do when I got here. ....... I figured I'm probably not going home anytime soon...so.... I might as well go find these other people and that they might know something. Anything at all about what I should do now. Oh, and my powers I've had since forever suddenly just decided to change. That was really strange as well." she said.

"I'm sure Diego, will tell us a plan or something, but first things first...do want any snacks? or clothes?" Roman asked as he went looking through Diego's closet.

Roman nodded as he kept on looking through Diego's stuff, he found a towel and turned around to Elaine. "Here's a towel for you to dry off" Roman said slightly blushing at Elaine's statment. "Oh...me and Diego are old friends....well in the future." Roman laughed as he went to the fridge and pulled out a packet of chips which he also handed to Elaine.

Nothing could destroy swirling pain and anger which together made dangerous mixture. These feelings practically swallowed Arthur from inside. He still was spilling blood out of his mouth. BIC: Elaine walked back in the room a few minutes later. She went to the kitchen portion of the condo and pulled another soda out of the fridge. Roman asked as he looked back at the TV. "And I think this is all happening because the time-space thingy is all messed up."

Peter stared at Diego and gave him a face. He was finally able to speak.
"All I know is that we are now 2 weeks back in time and everything is messed up. I don't know about who or what did this."
Diego gave Peter a blank stare.
"Well what powers do you have now?"
Peter gave him a shocked look
"What are you talking about I don't have different powers. Well I can do electricity now but I can still get other peoples abilities."
"Well Peter I know where you got that ability from." Diego raised his hand and concentrated on the flow of energy to his index finger. Electricity circled around his fingers as it gave off a light glow.
"Hmmmm... Now this is getting interesting...." Peter finally noticed that there was someone else in the car.
"Hey! I remember you! You tried to kill us!"
Dusty stared at Peter with pure shock. He couldn't talk.
"Peter, Dusty calm down you too. Besides we're here." Diego looked out the window and saw The Jade come into view. The limo stopped at the front of the building and one of the people working opened the door for him. Diego, Peter, and Dusty all piled out of the limo and went inside the building. Diego walked up to the front desk. "Hi can I have my room key please."
The lady looked at him and after a few seconds finally realized who was talking. "Oh of course Sir." She reached under the desk and pulled out a key. "Thank you." Diego walked towards the elevator and clicked the button. A second later the doors opened. Diego and his small group stepped inside and clicked the button and inserted his key. Diego turned the key and the elevator hummed to life.
It's like Deja-vu....
The elevator dinged as a he finally reached his floor. The doors opened and Diego along with his small group stepped outside.
"Roman! You here yet!?"

The pain subsided slowly but never fully went away. Small throbs of pain went through his body after the strange instance. He looked back up and spoke first.

"Wait....what new powers does everyone have?" Roman asked as he thought back to his metal bending ablities. "I mean.....why have our powers changed anyway?" Roman asked as he looked around at the other people around him. His old or new friends depending on how you looked at it.

Arthur spotted someone coming into back alley. Dammit! His black hood was soaking with his own blood and he became more pale with each minute. All the time he was fighting against urge to black out - because he knew that blacking out could cost him waking up in Pinehearst or even worse - without anyone beside him, he could die from blood loose.
He quickly hid himself behind big trash bin.
"He's not here. Let's search further." Said voice. Enemies went further. Please, Roman, hurry up!

OOC: The back alley is now near the building where we are.........
As Roman was talking to Diego and the others, he happened to glance out of the window and see a man walking down a ally towards someone hiding behind a trashcan. Roman looked closer, as he couldn't see much details from this position. Is that....Arthur? Roman had no time to figure out, wether it was his friend or not. "Diego......Arthur is beside this building now...outside....he is about to be attacked....." Roman said this quickly and then ran to the lift.

Running out of the lift, Roman through open the door's of the penthouse and ran outside, he turned the corner sharply and ran into the ally. The man was almost upon Arthur, using his metal ability, Roman sent the metal trashcan flying at the man, knocking him back. He then ran towards Arthur who was barly alive. Crap.... Roman thought as he lifted him into his arms and ran back inside the building, to see the others come out of the lift towards him. "I got him" Roman told them, holding Arthur carfully.

OOC: A little Gming......I'm sure you won't mind......

Arthur felt someone picking him up. With blurry look he noticed, that it was Roman - he had saved him.
