I think the card battle is the only thing I would change and have a riku story line that is about as long as soras because his is short

What is the point of your thread? RE:COM was a great game when they remade it 3D and the card system made the game more enjoyable than basic "smack heartless A, then hit heartless B..........." It's better than KH1 without question, regardless of the battle system.

ya know some people really dont like the card battle thing but im ok with it it ads to the story and gives you a challenge i think they made a good choice remaking this game and putting the reaction combo thingies in it because my sister couldnt stand the GBA version. Good Buy for 30 bucks!

I just want people to post thoughts and comments about re:com and i just got the game and i actually like the card system now

First off, don't double post.

Second of all, I can't agree with Waitin4KH3 because I haven't played the game except the GBA version. I doubt it would be better than KH1 imo, but I'll hold judgement.

I like the card system and I say screw you, KHtards for disliking it and thinking it sucks and isn't KH enough. It's a spin-off (or semi-sequel). They are suppose to find a different approach whilst keeping it to its roots.

I gotta say its better than KH1 because KH1's battle system is the same thing you say KH2's is terrible for, "mashing x." With the card system you actually have to plan your moves and think while in battle. And KH1's "mashing" is worse than KH2's because of a little ability called counterattack, which makes you nearly invincible. I've recently finished playing KH:FM and it's not better than what COM offers.

...KH2's button mashing is worse because of all the abilties you use without much thought and hard work (such as all the flashy abilities can be executed in the simple manner of X)

With KH1, it isn't the same issue. Even counter-attacking need its uses exploited and it can make you invincible... because you know how to use it. Besides, KH1 has something more than fighting... Exploration instead of linearity, depth and puzzles instead of 'fight x enemies' to gest pass obstacles. I think KH1 and COM are on the same page imo.

However, I like COM as a worth comparison to KH1 because it might not have the level depth of KH1, but you need to constantly 'change' the dungeon to get past. However, it relies on the same mistakes as KH2 did, fight 'x enemies' to get the card.

Does Re:CoM not have Riku's story line or does he just not know what he is talking about? Because we all know the original CoM had it. Oh, I don't like that card system either but that's just my opinion. I don't really like strategy based games/battles. Probably because I'm not very good at them. :p
