The dawn of heroes is among us. Create your own super hero and battle your way through the streets of New York to defeat your opponents. You can pick anything (as long as it's totally fair) and then battles with the opposing team.

The cool night sky washed over his face as he looked down upon the streets. I was an unusually quite night, but he kept his ears open. No matter how little happened, he always sat there and waited for his time to save the day. Such is the life for a spider. He thought to himself as he moved his leg a bit to avoid it from getting numb.

The gray streets below where lined with little lights and filled with cars which moved in a steady line trough the whole city. On the sidewalk next to those roads you could find the inhabitants of New York. Young, old, strong, weak, it mattered not, for he knew that they counted on him to keep them safe.

His eyes widened as a breeze struck the goggles that rested on his forehead. His lime green eyes penetrated through the plastic, and the sky itself took a green shade in a split second. His hands were laying on the sides, half-rosing the edge of the skyscraper. His masked face looked down, and in that moment, his bubble popped, bringing back to his brain and ears the noises of cars riding at full speed, the uncontrolled loud horns overheard throughout the entire city of New York. The conversations people were holding turned into distant voices at the back of his head, and he was unable to process every said phrase - or word, at once. The blabbering would give him a headache, he knew. The fluorescent greenish suit he was wearing made his warm skin sweat from the inside. He disliked such heat.

His wonder was matched only by the incredible awe he felt in the city. He walked slowly and comfortably, letting his mud splattered boots hit the pavement of the sidewalk loudly, drawing attention already. He smiled openly, basking in the looks he recieved. Even if they were simply looking at him because he stood out, it mattered not. As long as they saw him, he was more than content; he was delighted.

His enthusiasm led him to spark with tiny lightning, rolling over his long black hair and burning his trenchcoat. He looked at an elderly lady who stared at him, cane held in her right hand, a bag in the other. He nodded, bowing in an idiotic fashion. His eyes sparkled orange as he came back up and smiled widely. His ratty trenchcoat hung in tatters as he continued on his way, dreaming of how his new name would be remembered here.

Storm Trickster.

In the distance he saw flashes of light dance across the side of a building. He held his breath for a moment to analyze the source of the flashes, but it was too far for him to get a good view. Time to do some investigation He thought as he braced his legs and jumped of the building. The cold air rushed over his face as he plummeted towards the ground.

He pointed his hand up and a web like rope shot up from his wrist. The rope attached itself against the side of a building and stopped him from plummeting to his death. He used his artificial webs to get closer and closer to the light. Near the source of the light he stopped swinging and attached himself to a building. A man, surrounded in sparks walked there on the sidewalk. Hmmm that is odd. He thought as he looked at the man. I'd better follow him.

He held the beginnings of energy close to him, refusing to let them go. For each one that died, he replaced them with new, stronger sparks. Soon, he had a few good sized lightning bolts on his hands, slowly snaking there way around him. His power slowly bled away from him, forming outside of his own body causing light to dance around him, to uncover the shadows of the streets and the darkness of the alleys lifted. His smile glowed with his own power, and he slowly scanned the areas around him.

Within moments he became bored, and his lightning pulsed, growing even larger. The streets had long been empty of people, except for the few idiotic people who thought it might have been cool.

Not that it isn't, of course...

Patience was not his best ability, so he grew impatient as he walked on, his power growing every few seconds due to his slow anger that boiled up.

I'm a hero. I need to have a villian to fight...

Impatience soon clouded his vision, and he searched for something, anything, that would pose a worthy fight. Someone that would help him prove he's a hero. His eyes caught it, and held it. Something above a building, a crouching figure that was still wrapped in a small amount of darkness.

"A new enemy?" He pointed, smiling and chuckling. "You. Friend, or foe?"

He saw that the figure had noticed him and he sighed I should have been more quiet. He slowly let himself down by one of his webs until he was on the ground, not too far away from the electrifying unknown.

"Well sparky." He began as he scanned the figure from head to toe. "I don't know who or what you are, but if you are here to hurt the people of New York, I'll introduce you to a whole new world of pain." He stepped out of the shadow, into the light and pointed. "Now, state your business or go back to where you came from."

The profound, repetitive pattern of bland footsteps echoed throughout his restless, intellectual mind. Tedious, inadequate chatter surrounded his important existence, overwhelming him in a deafening veil of noise. The enormous, frantic city was something he was not used to. Gotham City was not as busy as the solid concrete that shuffled under his presence.

New York is different than Gotham.... A lot different. It's not really my thing.

The futuristic Dark Knight unleashed the robust crimson cloth that was once concealed under his ominous defending suit. The engines dwelling within his boots ignited, making the intense flames in his systems burn. The gray asphalt underneath him shattered, unable to shelter itself from the vigorous force of the blast the inferno had conceived.

The actuality of gravity took control over his coarse, muscular frame. His amazing structure emerged from the hectic walkway, levitating into the bitter wind that encircled the metropolis. He was suspended in the translucent atmosphere, challenging the laws of reality with unfeasible ease.

Now, it was time for the Batman of the future to exceed the boundaries of people. These helpless people that shrouded him already had a savior to shelter them from the horrific battering the immoral force of absolute malevolence had once planned for them. The people of New York City did not need Batman to become their honored angel. The dark corridors of Gotham City were still polluted with the horrendous stains of unbearable bloodshed.

“Time to go back to Gotham.”
