I have Home Premium as well, on a Dell. It's running on a 64 bit processor so it's really fast. :P

I got Vista Premium. It came with my laptop. Its pretty slick looking. It annoys me that it has to confirm if I have done everything. Like I run a program and it says "Did you want this program to run?" Then Im like yeah, I clicked it for a reason, now run it already.

ummm, macs have a totally different operating system that I am not familiar with. Really the best bet if you have a PC would be to get Linux instead of Vista.

I dont know nothing about Macs.

Download Linux then. Linux is a bit more complicated than Windows but there are like no viruses for it. Most people operate on Windows or Macs so all the virus programers out there make a lot for them. Linux on the other hands isnt widley used and practically no one programs viruses that can attasck Linux, so it is really safe.

@ Omar: Yeah, I found this burried in page 14 or something. It caught my eye because I have Vista.

Vista Home Premium operates well. My dad just recently bought a Vista computer. I still have dumb 'ol XP...

Your right on there man. When Windows came out with Vista they made it mandatory that all new systems being sold was to have Winodows Vista as the operating system. You can no longer buy a new computer with XP on it. If you want XP you would have to download it and downgrad from Vista to XP.

The Dell XPS M1710 is the one im getting. I can buy it with built in XP but the thing is... i'll have to order it online in order to get XP built in =/. My parents won't allow me to order so i guess i'll just buy one directly from the shop >.> .
