Character Attributes: Pure-hearted and child-like, though not much of a risk-taker, Yugi Mutou is not the ordinary child. Given the gift of a sacred Millennium Item, a golden pyramid leashed around his neck by a chain, he travels with an alter ego, an opposite of his own kind disposition. His name is Yami or Atem. Yami is a taller, more well-built recreation of Yugi's body structure, closely transitioning into his hard, austere attitude. He emerges from the Millennium Puzzle to take control of Yugi and his body. Their most faithful duel monster, often seen wondering alongside Yugi, is the Dark Magician. It acts mainly as a guardian to him, screening the environment. The Dark Mage, however, is only one of the compilation of monsters and magic that linger in Yugi's deck of dueling cards. Yugi and Yami work together with their cards, brawling until they can fight to the top and win it all. But who knows what could happen with the enigmatic spirit inhabiting the Millennium Item. Character Attributes: (Thank you, Wikipedia) Shikamaru is a highly unenthusiastic person, and he attempts to go through life with minimum effort. In his free time, he takes naps, watches clouds, and plays strategy games such as shogi and go. When put into a situation in which he needs to exert effort, he attempts to try to find a way to avoid it; for instance, he will forfeit battles or pretend to be preoccupied. In the instances where he can not avoid these situations, Shikamaru tends to remark "how troublesome". Another aspect of his unenthusiasm is his dislike for bossy women, as he refers to them as "a pain". Despite this perception, he has expressed an interest in marriage and raising a family with a son and daughter (with Temari ;) ) Contrary to his lazy tendencies, Shikamaru is extremely intelligent; his teacher, Asuma Sarutobi, determined that Shikamaru's IQ was over 200. After his teacher, Asuma, dies fighting Hidan, Shikamaru starts smoking as an effort to remember his teacher and mentor. After Asuma is killed by Hidan, a member of the criminal organization Akatsuki, these knuckles fall into Shikamaru's possession, and he uses them to defeat Hidan and avenge Asuma

Shikamaru's abilities are based on the Shadow Imitation Technique, the signature technique of his clan. When using the technique, he can manipulate his shadow, stretching or compressing it to his desire. If he merges his shadow with an opponent's shadow, his opponent is immobilized and forced to mimic Shikamaru's movements.

IN: A tentative traverse of cityscape’s competitive metropolis rode on hushed, whispered steps. Sun’s resplendent stare cowered from shadows of onyx—they were expelled from the dark alleyway that Yami’s trek piloted through. He surfaced into the city plaza; landscape’s flawlessness now lingering in heartbreak and tragedy. The sugary fragrance of gardenia flowers and air’s silky sweeps were consumed in the aftermath of war. A sable film of asphalt had been honeycombed by bullets of sorts. Despite its state of disrepair, the road bonded the city’s sky high structures—like a game of chess near its commence. This city has come to an end.

Everything smells of smoke. Along a bend of hedgerow and beyond the undergrowth of oak and pine that margins the fortress-estate, a thick spill of dark gray mounts into the predawn. The homesteads of the region vanished behind him as Yami carried on, proceeding down an alleyway into a city of brittle brick, weaving beneath an archway into winding ways, enchanting ways of cobblestone.

[Sora's Shadow]

The shambles of this once great city lay strewn across the once live and noisy plaza. The crimson sky illuminated the saddening scene, as Shikamaru walked down the main road. His steps, light as they were, echoed as if he had iron boots. Shikamaru looked at the pitiful scene, but kept walking. He strutted down an alleyway, ducking low over a branching section of concrete. He walked out into a plaza, finding the same empty silence as when he first entered the city. He threw the cigarette butt he had been inhaling to the ground and looked for a vantage point were he could gather a strategy.

He needed to finish his mission as fast as possible.
