Eoin Colfer is a genius.

I seriously love this series and the overall theme of it. Its well written and the comparisons he makes allow you to almost visualize or feel the scene. Artemis is indeed a great character.

But what brought the rise of this thread is actually the fact that I just finished the latest book, "Artemis Fowl The Lost Colony"

I was a bit shocked when Holly was killed, but relieved right after she revived. What really got me wondering was the ending of the book, I didn't quite understand it.

Here I'll type the last bit up:

________

Artemis nodded slowly. A miracle. He lifted his hand. On the palm there was a slight graze from his climb over the quayside stile. Artemis concentrated and five blue sparks of magic leaped from his fingertips and zeroed in on the graze, wiping it out like a cloth wiping dirt. He had more magic left than he had pretended.

"Maybe we can arrange a miracle."

Butler was beyond further amazement. "That's a new trick," he said laconically.

"I picked up a little more than an eye in the time tunnel."

"I see," said Butler." "Just don't do it around the twins."

"Don't worry," said Artemis. "I won't.' Then his brain computed what Butler had actually said.

"What twins?"

Butler punched in the Fowl Manor phone number, smiling. "Maybe time stood still for you, big brother, but it didn't for the rest of us."

Artemis stumbled to the room's only chair and sank into it.

Big brother? he thought, and then...

Twins!

What I understood is that Artemis has two little siblings now?

I'm not too sure, clarification would be godly right now.

I myself never read the book, ut almost everybody in my class took it out and read it in grade 5. Now I can never find a copy.

Artemis Fowl's okay, but I prefer Eoin Colfer's The Supernaturalists. I found it more creative and a lot easier to read :D

I used to pick up books randomly at the book store and beg my mom to buy them for me because I used to read quite a bit but for some reason I try to read the book time and time again and it never just stuck to me. It didn't captivate me for very long at all and I lost interest after just a few pages. It's just probably not for me.

Oh, I like Artemis Fowl! I have read all Eoin's books about Artemis! I especially liked the one, where he found his dad.

Eoin Colfer owns.
Which reminds me that I need to read the rest of the Artemis Fowl books and The Supernaturalists. o_o

I started reading Artemis Fowl a couple of years ago. If was okay and I ended up putting it down. It was taking me to long to finish. I was at the age where I got pretty bored with books if they weren't amazing by the fifth chapter. I picked it up again later and was able to get through it, but that was a while ago and I can't remember 100% what happened. I just know that it was good. ^_^

Worst, joke, ever. Please don't make jokes like these when you never even read the book before.

I tried reading them but soon got bored and dropped the book... =/

Wut? Bored? Eoin Colfer's books aren't boring at all. He's a genius. Especially the Artemis Fowl series.
