In KH Re: Chain of Memories in Sora's story when he fights Riku Replica they both mention that there was a meteor shower and Namine was scared that it would hit her and Sora would say 'If anything comes, I'll protect you.' Now Namine has inserted herself into Sora's memories while replacing Kairi. Am I correct? But now let's look at KH1. In Xehanort's reports he has said that he first opened the 'heart of Radiant Garden' which caused a meteor shower and interworld travel with the 'Gummi Ships'. Now he explained that he opened the door around Report #5 but let's now look at Report #11 where he said he has sent a special girl [Kairi] to Destiny Islands to find the keyblade master. And now let's go back to the 'meteor shower' how is it possible that Kairi was in the meteor shower on Destiny Islands when Xehanort didn't send her away till probably ages later? Maybe I might have missed something....was Namine inserting herself into this memory while replacing Kairi as Kairi was the actual one with Sora? or was this just a memory that was full of lies by Namine?

Its a bit of both really. Namine did not replace Kairi in a sense. Basically she removed Kairi altogether and inserted herself as if she always was on the islands with Riku and Sora. Kairi is a bit different, because she arrived on the night of the meteor shower, which is prolly the worlds walls falling.

Namine inserted herself into Sora's memories before
erasing Kairi. Namine replaced Kairi in a sense that
she used Sora's memories of caring for a girl on the
Islands, and redirected that to the false memories
of him and Namine.

But I'm simply wondering how was Kairi at Destiny Islands in the night of the meteor shower if it didn't say Xehanort didn't send her till ages later? Are the reports suppose to be in order or so?

well i would assume that since the problem start at Radiant graden it didnt hit Destiny islands till a little later. It certainly wasnt much considering the timeline.

In opening the door that stores a world's hearts, the wall around that world is broken down. We see this as a shooting star. Through this, I have been able to understand the reason why the material known as Gummi Blocks has the ability to allow travel to other worlds.

The cause of a world's wall collapsing is the appearance of the Heartless, but finding a world's door takes time. And robbing a world of its heart is a similar case.

If the door has been closed by the key known as the Keyblade, you probably cannot reach that world's heart again. Before the one with the Keyblade appears in this world, I must take measures to do something.

Supposing that there is a close relationship between the Princesses and the Keyblade, it seems likely that they will resonate with each other...

I have chosen one special girl. I do not know if she possesses a power like that of the Princesses. But, there is a chance, and this is an experiment. She may lead me to the place where the one holding the key is...

I shall send her off to the ocean of other worlds.

I think this report implies that not all the walls of every world
fall at once. Seems like something need to trigger the fall of
a world's walls. Apprentice Xehanort claims how the entering
of Heartless into the world makes the walls fall. What if the
entering of a little girl is capable of doing the same thing?

I think when Xehanort opened the door, he messed with the
stability of world order and thus weakened all world walls.
Potentially Kairi heading towards Destiny Islands could
penetrate the walls and cause them to fall as a meteor
shower.

I dunno, i mean at first it was described that the heartless were the wreason the walls came down, its hard to say, but i dont think Kairi could have just entered or passed thru the walls without help since vessels are useless.

Hm and what interests me more is how Xehanort was able to just 'send her away' what does he mean by this? Xehanort himself wanted to go to other worlds and since he send Kairi 'away' why couldn't he himself and his apprentices to go to other worlds?

he didnt really want to or had the need to do so at that specific point, he was too frail to even attempt, plsu he wanted to locate the keyblade bearer, so thats why she was sent.

Well, I know this but I'm wondering how Xehanort just 'sends her away'.

I always just assumed that he built a
space vessel out of the gummi material
that appeared on Radiant Garden after
the meteor shower in that world.

I imagine this vessel to be a small pod
shaped object that he put Kairi in and
shot it up into space. I always thought
it would be neat to find the space
vessel Kairi came in somewhere on
Destiny Islands.
