Strung between the boundaries of Earth and the Heavens, this massive, vast, and intricate abode is all but tangible to any lucky enough to step foot upon it. Crafted within its saturated walls are endless caverns, walkways, and rooms, all constantly bathed in the blessing light of the sun that hangs in watchful solitude overhead. There is no wind. There is no rain. There is only peace.

Until now.

And then he was there.

A sort of empty harmony was all that penetrated Axel's cold, benumbed ears, ringing with an empty melody through the concaves - the ebb and flow - of his body. It whispered his name in resplendent tones, while caressing what remained of his hollow, Nobody soul. It made him feel...human.

But the more the harmony coaxed him into an insomniac submission, the more he struggled to break the chains that shackled him to the bewildering tangent that was his inner mind and perceptions. He was aware of the false solace in which he had been forced, and pushed himself to open his eyes; prompt himself to see reality. The veil, however, was thick. Stifling.

"Get outa my head." If he couldn't match strength, then he'd have to negotiate. "Outa my head. Now." But it wouldn't comply. In fact, it's grip had strengthened its unrelenting hold on his ever-weakening body. But what, he asked himself through the fathomless reprises of the sound that echoed through his head, could this...thing possibly want with him?

"Out....of my....h-head." He was subdued, but he wasn't weak. There were still openings - however small - and he would see to it that he'd escape.

See you later...

A heavenly, blinding light beamed onto the young woman's face, and that was it...

The woman's memories were lapsed—a mental blur only followed upon the light which radiated onto her sleek, slim frame. Not a single thought could ultimately be conjured. Only a wondrous, golden glare...

Her salmon-hued hair slid down the side of her lustrous face, riding down her next and through the center of her chest. Her eyelids lifted themselves up, revealing her fiery, crimson eyes. Her eyes drew a blank state, much so like her mind. Unfamiliar with the scenery that surrounded her, she kept her steady, tall carriage, attempting to summon into her mind the happenings prior to this undistinguished present.

It seems apparent that I'm not in the Twilight Realm...

Midna's exotic eyes sunk, glaring aimlessly at the surface which held her gleaming body. From her peripheral vision came a glow, it's luminosity emitted onto both sides of her smooth, lovely face. The cyan values gleamed from the symbols on her skin, illuminating its strong hue onto anything in its path.

This signaled that the Twilight Princess was not alone...

But the soured serenade continued peeling at Axel's sanity. His breath grew shallow - was he even breathing? - and his eyes grew heavy. Were they even open? And, as his last breathe was drawn; his last hopes forcefully snuffed into the same nonexistence he would soon encounter, a voice crossed his ears. Beautiful. Much more so than the malevolent and monotone shriek that forced his fingers to loosen on the withering strands of his own life. The facade subsided; Axel's breath returned in full.

And then his eyes opened. An orchestra of light filtered through his dilated pupils, and from it radiated a warmth he...hadn't really experienced since becoming a Nobody. But when the salvo of light drew to but a weakening glimmer; when the reprobate requiem that wailed through his head had finally been subdued, only then could he clearly see the canvas of an environment that had been painted before him.

He lay...on a cloud?
