Loud sounds blazed as the croud cheered, their roars melting into a spiral of intense emotions. Tension was in the air, as each spectator was at the edge of his/her seat in expectation for the event that was soon to start.

This was understandable, the stage before them was one that could appear once in a lifetype. The 50th Aniversary Cup, the largest worldwide Net-Battle Event was ready to draw to a close. This was the largest tournament that had ever been organized, having around 30 million participants.

And the two men that stared at each other were the ones that were the two victors that had climed to the very top, to this very stage.

After long battles, after countless sacrifices, this was the pay of their work. To fight against the "other" who had faced similar challenge in one fight. To be the very best... to the Two battlers that had traversed such a long journey for this very moment, this battle would be the very conclusion of all.

The first figure moved to the machine, the N-X Prototype Network Stadium, that was leant by SciLab for this very event. "Zero, I believe in you!" His old Red PET shined as he plugged in the anticuated USB cable in the machine and the network interface started.
