The books (the old ones) say that he was 10, then 12 then 14.
In his world, he should be about 16-17 by now.
So I think it would be.....

Kanto- age 10-12
Johto- age 12-14
Hoen- age 14-16
Sennoh- age 16-however long he stays there.

In the earlier episodes, they dressed Pikachu up as a girl with lipstick and a dress and bow. Ash just commented on how cute she looked. (even though he didn't see why they had to dress her up in the first place)

In one episode, Ash refers to Pikachu as being a girl by saying "wow, she's really happy today"

When Ash caught Aipom (who is also female) Pikachu became jealous of all the attention Aipom was getting (seh never reacted that way around Ash's other pokemon who are male)

And there are a few episodes with Pikachu cheering Ash on while wearing a cheerleader outfit (the female ones). Later on, they started putting her in Komonos instead of the cheerleader outfit.

i wish they ahd continued Pokemon Mystery Dungeon. that would have been interesting. Im tired of ordinary pokemon. I think they should cancel pokemon. It sucked after the first season. The first season was bad ass, I mean, it was actually an anime in the first season. But then, it progressed into an....americanized cartoon! And THEN it became crap. So what's the lesson we learned today, little boys and girls? Don't trust american cowboys unless you want censorship, non-censorship, idiocracy, and action flicks.
