Years of peace have passed. Four elemental tribes have regained harmony and living side by side helping each other. That is until Book of Chaos has been found in Shin-Djan temple, at the center of world. It tells about time when benders were possessed by Darkness bender. All that remained was Light bender, which stood against the Darkness and regained the balance in world. But The Darkness bender did not banish at all. It just roamed in shadows, until found safe place on Chaos dimension, where slowly started to regain strength. The bender swore to return on Earth to unleash its power upon it once again and give destruction. In one Word - Chaos. Book tells nothing about Light bender as it seems only Darkness bender's history was its goal.
Prophecy deep in its pages has been unleashed with blood-red letters:
When the moon of Ice
Will be seen to the night sky
And the Earth will turn grey
A portal to Chaos will be opened once again!
No one knows if this is true. No one tries to object this madness Legend. Everything is silent, until Avatar Aang sees dream of two elements coliding - Light and Darkness. He seeks advice to one of his previous forms Avatar Roku but even Roku could not enlighten Aang's mind, for he has not faced this. But he advices to seek out the First Avatar, First form of Aang and ask him. For he is the wisest Avatar from them all. And so, Aang is set on journey once again to find out truth about his dream, not knowing about the Book of Chaos.

What is this???
Aang woke up in his shelter. He was all wet from sweat and his breathing speed was increased. He had seen the same dream once again. Once again Light and Darkness collided creating massive chaos. What does this mean? What can I do? I must find the first Avatar within me. But... I need picture, painting, anything of him! Aang turned on other side but he could not fall asleep again - his sleep was disturbed.
Zuko was dead asleep on the floor. He was one of those heavy sleepers. Since he uses to share a room with his uncle who snored so loud the crickets complained about the noise. So since then Zuko could sleep through anything. The drawl dripping from his mouth as the blankets spread out everywhere. The only thing the blankets covered was his right foot. He twitched in his sleep. The only thing wrong when Zuko was a sleep was he would fire bend in his sleep so sometimes he would sit up and send a fire ball half way across the room. Tonight was no different as he sat up and sent a fire ball across the shelter to the other side then fell back down on the floor.

Aang literally jumped up from place he was sleeping, as the skin, which was covering the entrance of shelter, was on red fire. Zuko, I will find cure for you one day. He quickly bended water to the skin and it now was wet and black. A smell of burned skin went through the shelter, making Aang cover his noise and say aloud "Eww.." With another quick movement he destroyed the smell with his basic bending - airbending. After that, he went back to his own place and sat down for meditation.
Zuko started to toss and turn in his sleep. Sleep bending was one thing but Zuko started to talk in his sleep. Witch was weird because he never did until a few weeks ago. "Father.....Father....what's happening...My shadow...it's...it's attacking me.....did he really kill everyone using they're shadows...Darkness....Dark bender" Zuko said in his sleep as he tossed and turned. "Dark....Dark...Darkheart" Zuko said as he sat up again...but this time just fell back down

Zuko sat up again but this time he was fully awake. "The Fire nation Prison....the fire nation is about to unleash there weapon of mass destruction" Zuko said as he held his head he looked around. "Whoa....weird dream...it can't be....he's dead...so why should I have dreams about what looks like the future" Zuko said as he sighed.

Meanwhile at the Fire nation prison a new fire nation guard was taking a prisoner to his new cell not knowing that the cell he was taking he had someone in it....someone deadly. As the fire nation guard opened the door her herd laughing. Suddenly his own shadow rose up from the ground like tentacles and wrapped around his body and snapped him in two. The prisoner looked in horror as some one walked out of the cell. He was smiling. Suddenly the prisoner felt something around his body. His own shadow was crushing him. As the prisoner screamed the man walked away from the prisoner as his bones where being broken. "Time to go to work...I've been locked up from the world for far to long" Rex said smiling

"Zuko?" Aang heard Zuko talking. He saw Zuko awake. I wonder... what is happening? What's going on? Aang felt cold inside him. Something dreadful. "Something is going on. Something powerful is rising in Shadows."

"Please don't say shadows" Zuko said as he sighed. "I've always hated shadows after what my mother told me about the weapon the fire nation found years ago.....it made me afraid of the dark until I was 10" Zuko said as he sighed.

He muttered to himself. But the cold feeling did not stopped in his stomach. "Something is going to happen, Zuko! And it does not seem good thing!" Aang said.

A young man sat in a large desolate library. Large leather-bound books created a make-shift fortress around him. With the help of a dimming candle he studied and ancient book set up in front of him. The ancient language seemed to blend into itself forming on large run-on of a character. He carefully ran his eyes along the page deciphering it.
"And the bringer of Light shall fall..."
His voice trailed off at this as he looked up. His brown eyes glistened in the light glow.
"Kai.... What have you gotten yourself into..."
The young man ran his hands through his hair and fell to the floor. His eyes were heavy from all the reading. He didn't know exactly how long he had been up but he was sure it was more than 2 days. He bunched up in a small fetal position and went to sleep.

Kai woke with a start from his sleep. In his dreams only death and destruction seemed to be the theme. Cold sweet ran down his brow as he stood up. Wiping it off with the back of his hand Kai looked around him. The small fire he had made was out and he was completely covered in darkness. Kai stretched his hand out and focused his energy on his open palm. From the center of his hand a small orb of pure light was produced. All around him everything was illuminated.
"That... was a real nightmare..."
Kai tried to forget the dream but he could erase the face of the evil man that had killed those people. Their innocent blood filled his mind and he could not help but cry slightly. After feeling some pity for himself Kai was finally able to go to sleep again with the image of death still fresh in his mind.
"Aang....do you think we can head to the Fire nation....I feel like something’s wrong.....it feels like it's in danger....I'm worried about the people there...they might be in danger" Zuko said.

Rex laughed as he watched more people fall to the ground as they're own shadows tore they're bodies apart. "Is there no one that can stand a chance against me" Rex yelled as he laughed. "1,000 years of being in that god for shaken prison and now one can fight me" Rex said laughing. "Ruling this world will be a cake walk" Rex said smiling

Aang stood up. If that is right what he is saying, we need to get there fast! Without any word he left outside. "Appa!" He called. And soon after that huge flying monster with beaver-like tale could be seen in sky. It landed in front of Aang. "Zuko, are you coming?" Aang shouted towards the shelter. Appa is our only chance to get ther fast!
Zuko jumped onto Appa and waited. "Come Aang.....I'm just hoping that what I feeling is nothing more then me being wrong" Zuko said as he sighed. but there’s apart of me....that knows something it’s wrong...I feel like Shadows are rising

Rex smiled as his shadow extended to a massive size. "Shadow Dragon" Rex said as his shadow suddenly rose up from the ground looking like a huge pitch black dragon. "Patrol the Fire nation from above....I'll continue to destroy" Rex said as the pitch black Dragon rose up into the air and hid in the darkness of the night.

"Oh my god! What are those idiotic snpbs doing now?! Waking me up in the middle of my nap! I should kill them all......" As Ling climbed out of his tent and out of the forest he was using as his home he saw the village down the road. Or what was left of it.
Ling ran down the road as fast as he could to the ruins of the village. The devastation of the village was worst than Ling thought, buildings were burned so much it seemed an army of dragons went on a rampage, while some buildings were erased from exsistance. Ling walked around on what was left of the village checking every body he found, but all of them were corpses. He than heard a moan from a building that was just a few pieces of suport beems.
"Help me..." Ling ran to the call to find a beaten and burned man. "What happend? Who did this?"
"Him." the man then pointed to a dark figure standing on top of a building with what appered to be dragons swirlling around him. "My god! How is that possible!" just then the dragons spread out and started distroying what was left. The man then whisperd, "Run save your self and died." But Ling was already running. For the first time in years Ling was afraid.
"Aang....look" Zuko yelled as he pointed to the fire nation. It was a blaze as he could hear the villagers screaming. "What could have happened here" Zuko said. He suddenly looked behind him. I could have sworn I herd the beating off wings behind us Zuko thought as he turned back to the fire nation. "What monster could have done this" Zuko said. As the moon appeared out from behind the clouds Zuko looked up and his eyes widened. "Aang...above us" Zuko Yelled as the Pitch black Dragon dived towards Appa.

"APPA, YIP YIP!" Aang yelled as noticed Black Dragoon closing to them. He was afraid that the Dragoon might crash into Appa and hit them down. "Zuko, I don't know what's going on here, in Fire Nation but one thing I trully DO know - it is not good." Aang had to find safe place to land quickly before they could be squashed.
The pitch black Dragon roared as it dived past Appa and into the ground. "What the hell...it just went into the ground like it was nothing...it didn't even make a hole" Zuko said as he looked at the ground. "Aang...look" Zuko said as he pointed to a man who was standing in the streets as the village burned. "He might be in trouble...we have to help him" Zuko said. Unknown to him he was pointing right at Rex....the same man who was destroying the village but at the moment was thinking of something else instead.

Aang made Appa to charge towards the man, thinking the same as Zuko - maybe the man is in trouble, while in same cleaning off the sweat from his face, being afraid that Dragoon might crush into Appa but it didn't. Instead, it was lying down. "You okay?" Aang asked to man, which was standing.
Rex turned and looked at Aang them smiled. "What a surprise...if it isn't Sir Zuko....and the Avatar....this is a surprise. I hope my pet didn't scare you....he tends to be territorial around new comers....but he poses no threat...unless I say other wise" Rex said smiling. "Aang....there's something wrong....I don't know why...but I've seen him before" Zuko said. "I bet you have Zuko...you've probably seen me in many scrolls...they use to call me the Black Flame Bender" Rex said smiling. "Black...Flame" Zuko said. He remembers the stories him mother told him about a bender that could use black flames. Rex suddenly jumped away from the two and smiled. "Dark Vipers" Rex said as his shadow extended and split into pitch black Snakes that attacked the two.

Damn this! Aang Used Earth Bending to try and stop the snakes by summoning hard earth wall in front of them. "Zuko, I suggest we should leave! We must find a hiding place, for we can not fight him yet! I feel he has strength 10 times bigger than our!" Aang yelled as he himself was jumping up to Appa's back.
Rex smiled. "Never get on something that makes a huge Shadow" Rex said smiling as Appa’s shadow extended and Wrapped around Appa's body binding him to the ground. Rex smiled as the pitch black Dragon rose up from the Ground behind Rex. "Well my pet....I found you your next meal...I'm sure your still hungry after eating half the villagers" Rex said smiling as the Dragon Roared.

"Appa, no!" Aang shouted as jumped backwards to evade the shadow. He heard Dragoon's roar and turned his head towards the place from it came - Dragoon was coming in reply of master's call. He is using shadows to bend. Wait... that's it! Aang lifted himself high in sky and using his Airbending skill blocked the sun with clouds. "There are no shadows if there is no sun, which creates them!" Aang watched as Appa's shadow calmed down and Appa was free. He jumped on Appa's back once again and by grabbing Zuko's hand, they all charged in sky.
Rex smiled. "Too bad...I was going to show you that Shadow bending is just one part of my dark bending....oh well...let's go my pet" Rex said smiling as the pitch black Dragon sunk into the ground and became a normal shadow again. "The avatar can't Dark bend yet...this is going to be fun" Rex said smiling.

Zuko was on Appa shacking. "I can't believe he's still alive...the Dark bender is still alive...the Bender everyone calls The Red Devil...that man that's spilled more blood then the fire nation...but how can he still be alive" Zuko said

BIC: Aang just was without words. Dark bender? Who is that? What the...? Then he remembered his dream. Dream which was hunting him for a long, long time now. Dream, where Light and Darkness is colliding and unleashing massive destruction. My dream... that's the answer! Aang looked back down, where the man stood. Suddenly, he went into Avatar state. "The Book Of Chaos." Aang in avatar state said. But he did not turn back - instead, he was in avatar state and leading Appa to some place - away from the Fire Nation.

"TOPH!!! WHERE THE HELL IS THAT GIRL?!" toph's dad yelled as he searched in the bushes and everything. Toph, meanwhile, was hiding behind a wall, trying to escape her overprotective father. "easy, girl, you can do this... you've escaped him before, and you'll do it again..." she sighed and jumped off the wall when her father noticed her. "TOPH!! THERE YOU ARE!" toph gulped. "crap, gotta scram!"

What? What is going on? Aang himself in mean time was traveling long memory paths to find out what means "The Book Of Chaos" He understood, that he is in avatar's state but why now, he had no clue. Only State knows why he has been summoned, that is what Roku said me once. Aang looked around himself, finding out, that he has stuck in a maze. Oh great. "You will know the path." How???

"UUGH!" Hel pushed herself from behind a bush and searched around her. "I guess I lost those creeps." She sighed and heaved her scythes in her saddle bags and jumped over a stone wall when...
BUMP.
"OWW! hey!! Watch where you're going, freak!" Toph barked at the girl. "I'm sorry..." Hel apologized. "I was trying to get away from the people who were..."
"There they are!!" Shouted a group of people. "Darn! stay back, you nutheads!" Toph yelled and smashed the ground into bits and the servants who were after her fell into it. Hel too, unsheathed her scythe and gracefully flew past the chasers and created a crack underneath them.
"Now's our chance! Let's run!!" Toph yelled and Hel nodded, then the two girls ran into the darkness of the night.
