im stuck on a boss

how do you kill one of the 13 guys which say dance water dance.

Welcome to one of the most frustrating Boss Fights in the game! When the
battle starts out, you have forty seconds to destroy fifty of his water
creations. In order to do this effectively, you should probably just hit
Triangle and X as much as possible. The Wild Dance reaction command will
devastate Demyx's water army in no time. Contrary to what I said before,
Explosion really isn't that effective (especially if you have a bunch of
combo boosts equipped). You're better off relying on Wild Dance (thanks to
Danny Amos for bringing this to my attention). Once you've defeated all
fifty, Demyx will attack. Note that if you fail to defeat all fifty forms,
you will lose the battle.

Demyx is quite prone to combos, so if you can get him stuck in a pattern
where you can pull off most of a ground combo, knock him in the air, and
pull off an aerial combo, you can take good chunks of health away.
Unfortunately, Demyx has his own attack pattern that you can get caught in.
He tends to dart across the screen a lot, with a trail of geysers that
follow in his wake. He follows this attack up with a circle of geysers
around himself. If you end up right next to him before this attack, try to
break him out of the pattern before you get hit yourself.

He also controls very fast moving water bubbles. If you see him walking
while sort of dancing, he's about to either shoot bubbles at you from a
distance, or have bubbles rain down around him.

At times, Demyx will say, "Dance, water, dance!" at which point the screen
will turn dark and you will have ten seconds to kill ten more of his water
creations. At this point, you'll need to be very very quick on your feet.
Run in close, slam the Triangle and X buttons, and pray you don't have to
start over.

Using Drive forms in this battle usually isn't a good idea for a couple
reasons. During this battle, Sora seems to turn into Anti-Sora a lot (if
you haven't experienced this already, it's not a good form to turn into; it
happens at random times, and often at inopportune times; while Anti-Sora's
attack speed is a lot faster, you won't be doing quite as much damage, and
you can't heal at all while in this form, or revert without just letting
the drive gauge run out, which actually does empty faster if you attack).
The other reason is because of Demyx's occasional ten second challenge
noted above. While in a different form, it may be harder to get rid of the
creations within ten seconds due to the flair of Sora's attacks. You may
want to use a Drive form though when Demyx has little HP left.

Once Demyx loses about half his health, he will start actually attacking
Sora with his sitar. Breaking free from one of Demyx's combos can be tough,
but the Retaliating Slash ability can help deal damage to Demyx while he
mercilessly hits you. Also at this time, Demyx will walk around with
a wall of geysers that spray up in front of him every second or so.
Reaching him at this point is tough, so it's best to run from him for a few
seconds until he changes his mind and starts attacking physically. Try to
get behind him now and hit him. To top it all off, he now has a line of
homing geysers that are quite difficult to dodge.

Every once in a while, Demyx will say, "Ain't it a blast?" and come dancing
at you. Quickly use the Show Stealer reaction command to distract Demyx
while he's playing and damage him for a large amount. Failure to press the
Triangle button will result in the same thing happening, only Demyx notices
and whacks Sora. This isn't good, and will even result in death if you have
low-ish HP.

If you can survive the brutal second half of the battle, you're ready for
anything the game will throw at you from here on out

here ya go This isn't too challenging, you just need to be quick at defeating all the
Demyx Forms within the time limit. Keep an eye on the Reaction command, as
each time the "Wild Dance" Reaction command becomes available, you'll need
to press it to remove the Demyx Forms quickly.

The idea is that you want to defeat the Demyx Forms while they are grouped
together, rather than spread apart. If you don't use Wild Dance, you won't
beat the Demyx Forms. It's as simple as that. If you are unable to do this,
you will need to concentrate more on grouping the Demyx Forms together and
using your Reaction commands.

You're only at Demyx? (MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTER NEXT TO LUXORD!) He is hard...especially in hard mode...in standerd and easy, he's not as hard.

Tidus has the answers. I have my own strategy on all the bosses. I play them all the time. I have like, 25 files saved right before a boss battle so i can beat them again in hard mode. I can beat any boss, any time I want. It's awesome! I have a strategy for each of them except the Groundshaker Heartless (too easy), Shan Yu(WAY TOO EASY!), and the Dragon Heartless from The Land of Dragons, (I don't play that battle, it's not that fun) I've posted a strategy for the Hades Paradox battle 49 (Tifa, Yuffie, Cloud, and Leon) and the Sepheroth battle (WAAAAAAAAAAAAY TOO LONG!) I'm not posting my Demyx strategy!

(Suggestions? Should I make a thread on all my boss strategies?)

I didn't use any strats to beat him. Spamming X and the occasional triangle to kill the water clones.

Demyx is not that hard if u know a couple of tricks! When he gets his water minions to attack you try Comet Rain with Donald. That should wipe most of them and the rest will be easy to kill with Wild Dance. Then try to do some massive damage to him by entering Valor Form( not Master or Wisdom as he will push u away easily!). Be careful not to be hit by the water from underneath as it'll take u some time to get down and most of your drive gauge will be used for no reason.
Be sure to have full MP when he gets his water minions out for athe second time to use Comet Rain again. Defeat the rest as quickly as posiible and then it's quite easy to defeat him as he doesn't have much life left!

P.S If u r lucky he may use the water minions just once! That's what happened to me once and was really easy to beat him...;)

i hated that, i would woop him and then my time will run out and i lost...ugh i hate Demyx...BUT yeah u just gotta swing the water people around, and you gotta get in as many combos as you can before he does that wave thingy..
