My Firebending teacher once told me to let the fire in my body flow like a stream, and let my heart expel it. Let my emotion of compassion touch my soul, and throw all of my rage away. Don’t be like everybody else. Find a new motive.

Hmph. He was a wise old man. He still is.

But… I always felt like I was not looking into another part of myself. Like my life in the Fire Nation and my ability to Firebend were just half of who I was. Of course, I was somehow right. Fate gave me a trump card I didn’t even want; something some other kid could get better use of.

I guess it was when I was just a little boy that I found out that my “gift” was something even my own mother was scared of.



The temperate, lustrous sun radiantly glistened as an array of sunlight reflected off of a near river. It was a pleasant summer evening, and the external climate was ideal for outdoor activities. The energetic trees within the boundaries of the Fire Nation briskly danced around in the sanitary wind, providing shelter from the sweltering sun.

“Mako, help me move all of these rocks!” a young, mature tone vibrated throughout the perfect summer atmosphere. “Mother wants to makes a fire, and there’s some good firewood under this giant stone.”

The youthful child, perhaps the age of ten, quickly glanced at the massive formation, using his superior intellect to formulate a plan of divine action that would remove the colossal boulder from its current position. However, his age gave him diminutive limits, and it would be almost unfeasible to situate the rock somewhere else.

“You’re having trouble moving that rock, Shao?” another younger boy retorted as he sprinted towards his brother’s side. “That’s easy. Just leave it to me.”

The younger youth, who went by the name Mako, hastily took a vigorous, assertive posture as his auburn eyes concentrated on the tremendous mineral. His black hair drifted away from his vision, following the identical course of the departing liberating breeze. The Firebender’s stature looked exceptionally different than his typical Firebending stance.

What is he doing? Is he going to use fire to push the rock?

Mako grinned confidently as he promptly slammed his right foot downwards. Surprisingly, the eight-year-old did not eject and amazing crimson inferno. The results were much diverse. The forceful, enormous stone merely levitated into the air, following the instructions of the undeveloped boy. The fire wielder heaved his arms to the side, and the stone shifted its weight, crashing into a neighboring tree.

“Mako!”

The two boys hurriedly looked behind them, pursuing the feminine pitch that beckoned the youngest brother. It was a young woman, and her features personally resembled the attractive attributes of both Shoa and Mako. She was their mother, and she had seen her youngest son Earthbend with her own azure eyes.

“Never do that again,” the woman scolded as she firmly clutched Mako’s wrist, dragging him along. “If you Earthbend again, so help me…”



Years have past since then, and now I’m fifteen. For many years I have tried followed my mother’s orders and not Earthbend, but it was so… alluring. Secretly, I had to Earthbend by myself, and I made sure nobody knew about. I grew more skilled with it, even without an Earthbender to teach me the basics.

I never knew why my mom was so scared when I showed her both of my bending capabilities, and I guess I never will. I mean, what’s so special about me?

Weapons: A foot and a half long dagger/short sword with a curved edge, and blue wolf image burned to it. The weapon's name is Rose, named after a girl he loved. The blade has a special property-it can hold water in the hilt. This does two things: it gives Rei water to bend with, and it gives him a somewhat haphazard control of the dagger. Not really a weapon, he also carries several lockpicks (though he can make them out of ice just as easily)
Fight Style: Er...I'll get back to you on that.
Personality: Rei is on a hunt for a special treasure, for unknown reasons. For this, he tends to be secluded and disliked because of his thievery. He actually has a kind heart, and is doing his thievery for a greater purpose, but not very many people will see past that. At times, he in very unsure of himself.
Bio: Three years ago, his girlfriend died trying to save a man from drowning in the arctic waste. Her body ended up at the bottom of the sea, frozen solid. From there, Rei left, devastated. He wandered for a year doing odd jobs as a traveler until one day he learned of an artifact. This artifact was said to be able to return someone from the grave. Holding on to this last hope, Rei devoted himself to finding the artifact.

Bio: Since birth, Xiang Liang spent much of his years with his uncle, Master Piandao. His mother, sister to Piandao, and father were both members of the Fire Nation Army and were master Firebenders. Therefore, they did not have much time to nurture and care for him.

After Piandao took him into his home in Shu Jing, Xiang Liang quickly engaged himself in his uncle's interests and talents in weaponry. When he reached a reasonable age, Piandao taught him the ways of the blade. When he reached age fifteen, he had already been a master of close-ranged weaponry.

Rumors had spread of Xiang Liang's mastery in weaponry. As the rumors reached the Fire Nation, soldiers were sent to retrieve him to draft him into the army. Quickly, he made friends with the great archer Vachir, who taught him the basics of the bow and arrow. As his skills with the bow grew, he became affiliated with, and eventually became a member of, the Yu Yan Archers by the time he turned nineteen.

Xiang Liang had been a Yu Yan Archer for two years before finally discovering the Avatar's existence. During the hunt for the Avatar under the command of Admiral Zhao, he and the other Yu Yan Archers eventually captured the Avatar, though he was rescued by the Blue Spirit not long after.

Xiang Liang's weaponry skills, as well as his reputation within the Fire Nation, continued to grow until he received his promotion to Captain one year later. With his new rank, he vowed to hunt both the Avatar and Blue Spirit, as well as anyone who got in the way of his objective.

Bio: A prince in the northern water tribe, he went on a mission to travel across the world in order to learn more knowledge and develop his abilities and talents. Carrying the knowledge of his water tribe, he tries to expand it in order to find the true potential of a Water Bender.

Personality: Mako is somewhat easygoing, but he can be very stubborn when he wants to be. He also has a tendency to become too overconfident, and he begins to act a bit cocky.
Bio: Mako grew up like every other boy that lived in the Fire Nation. He went to school like a normal child, and he even helped his mother in their tea shop.

Even at a young age, he was exceptionally gifted with the art of Firebending. He first started to learn how to control his Firebending when he was seven-years-old, with the help of his compassionate, easy-going Firebending teacher, Master Kisu.

However, no matter how much he improved his Firebending skills, something always seemed to bother him. It was like he was only looking into a fraction of who he really was, and ignoring an important capability that would complete him.

When he first turned eight-years-old, Mako found out he had the ability to Earthbend, just like the citizens in the Earth Kingdom. At first, He was amazed by his “gift”, but he soon realized some people feared his duel bending after his mother ordered him to never Earthbend again.

Ignoring his mother’s orders, Mako continued to Earthbend privately, improving both his Firebending and Earthbending techniques. Now he is fifteen, and still forced to bend in secrecy.

Appearance: Mako wears the normal red attire most Fire Nation teenage citizens own. He is also fairly muscular, and is very fit for a boy his age.

He has jet black hair. The back is somewhat short, making it easy for him to spike up and become wild. However, it is longer in the front, and his bang is kind of off to the side.

Fight Style: He usually stays back from the main fighting, and attacks from the shadows, using his earth bending to attack from underground. He sometimes throws knifes from afar for assassin purposes.

Personality: He is a quite boy and rarely speaks to anyone, besides those he is close to. He keeps himself to himself, yet he is comasionte about human life, and hates anyone who kills for no reason.

Bio: He was abandoned as a child, and grew up in a orphange in the Earth nation, from a very young age he reliezed he could earth bend and taught himself most of the techniques. When he was 13, the orphange felt compelled to give him his father's swords which were intrusted to them for safe-keeping till he was 13. He taught himself how to use them, and swore to himself to fight for his nation.

When he was 17, his village and the orphange were attacked by the fire nation. He was out training in the forest and when he came back, everything was burning. Seeing no retaliation from the earth kingdom, he wanted to fight back and caught a ship to the Northan Water kingdom and joined in their fight for freedom. He was then taught as a spy and an assassin for 2 years, until they sent him to spy on the fire nation, which he is doing now.
Appearance: A young boy with spikey red hair. His eyes are two different colours, one green and the other brown. He is quite thin and fast, and his face is angler like an elf. He is however strong.

Bio:As a youn child Jing was very careless and selfish. One day he came back with his father after cutting logs for a fire. His father received a note saying he had to join the earth nation army. Angered Jing started to fight the messenger. Jing released his anger and struck the messenger in the heart with a boulder killing him. With the earth kingdom army seeing this Jing ran from his family at the age of ten. He took the name Jin Li. Hoping he would never be found.

A young boy hastily sprinted through the malleable, pastel sand, passing the translucent, unadulterated water that bordered the portion of lush, charcoaled earth. His heart fiercely pumped the imperative crimson liquid into his precious, vigorous frame. His dark, auburn eyes hurriedly shifted from side to side, analyzing every aspect his maturing mind could attain.

His pupils burned with an immense intensity, responding to the determined purpose that dwelled within his forceful heart. He was distraughtly searching for a definite object that would somehow aid him. The mystical bender’s eyes were thoroughly secured, relinquishing his other amplified senses. His chaotic cranium was vacant, paralyzed with a problematic sensation. It was like he was trying to perceive the beautiful world without using his eyes.

“There’s some good wood underneath all this sand,” Mako announced as he leisurely unfastened his eyelids. “It’s right in front of me.”

Another elder adolescent rapidly jolted in front of the duel bender, kneeling beside his brother. His skeptical, tolerant observations were transfixed on the particles of sand positioned in front of his essential essence. His lightly tanned palms indolently excavated into the eternal grains of powder, pulling back the insignificant units that he did not yearn for. Astonishingly, he found the rigid, wooden timber they were looking for, located exactly where his young sibling specified.

“I’m gonna look away,” Shao, the eldest brother, groaned as he collected the firewood. “I know you never practiced Earthbending again after that day, right?”

“Yeah, Shao,” the maturing youth lied as he sat down on the tender sand. “I forget how to Earthbend. I never even thought about using it.”

A young man, about the age of nineteen, walked jauntily down the road, seeming without a care in the world. His red hair fell easily into his eyes and he quickly pushed it back with one hand. He was dressed like all other fire nation warriors, with the armor, the uniform and the cape which swung in the wind from his back, covering the two swords which were hidden. He suddenly stopped in his place, and closed his eyes, seeming to hear something far away, and with that he jumped easily off the road and quickly climbed a tree.

A few minutes later a fire nation patrol of about twenty men walked past, intent on a mission else where. However it did not know that it was being watched by a small spy, hiding in a tree just above them. After the patrol had passed, Audro dropped to the ground and proceed to followed them at a distance, keeping his disguise on.

Rex sat in the Fire Nation prison cell. It was small, Damp and the only light he has was his fire bending. Witch he could even use because of what ever was inside the prison stopped all benders from the ability to us their bending. And yet he still had light. A small hole in the wall let the sun light inside. The cells where used when the Fire Nation captured a spy in their nation, but this cell was holding a general of the fire nation.

The only crime he made was trying to cover up the fact that he was saving lives instead of taking them like every other Fire Nation general was. "I wonder what poor sap got my old job" Rex said as he sighed. He might have been in a prison but it never seemed like one. One of the soldiers from his squad always came by to give him food. “Lunch time” a female voice said as she walked in. “Good afternoon General” the girl said. “I told you before I’m not your general anymore” Rex said “Still Sir…..they had no right to imprison you like this” the girl said. “It was the only thing they could do…I disobeyed orders…for that…you can get imprisoned…or worse” Rex said. “That’s true” the girl said as she slid the tray between the bars. “It’s your favorite Sir….Chicken and Rice” the girl said smiling.

“Thank you….so hows your new squad” Rex asked. “Not so good…the General they but me with is not a nice person....he's not like you sir” the girl said. “Figures….alright….you better head back” Rex said. “Yes Sir” the girl said as she got up and started to walk out. “Sora….try not to do anything stupid…alright” Rex said. The girl turned around and smiled. “You know me….I never do anything stupid” Sora said smiling

Rei's eyes were closed. He was listening intently for the click. No...no...no... It clicked. Yes! He opened his eyes and opened the door as silently as he could. No one home? Even better... He slipped in, tiptoeing as silently as he could. The house was sound, and made almost no noise.

He scanned around looking for anything of value, or anything ancient. Nothing really. No coins, no jewels, not even a scroll. He frowned, and started towards another door he saw. This one, he guessed, led into the main bedroom. Maybe I'll have some luck in here...

With the skill of a true thief, Rei slid into the room and used his expert eye. No, no, no, no, no, n- He paused. What have we here? His eyes narrowed. Interesting... It was an old scroll hidden quite well, but not completely out of sight. It was underneath the small mattress that whoever lived here used.

Jackpot, maybe... He walked over and picked up the scroll, letting it down. C'mon...c'mon... He opened the scroll, holding his breath. Is this... He read it, and then dropped the scroll in disgust. That....was something I didn't need to read.

He sighed, shaking his head. Man...these lower Fire Benders don't have much in value, do they? He walked out of the house, making sure to re-lock the door. When no one was looking, he re-entered the shadows, and starting hunting for his next target.

Fight Style: Based more on military tactics than solo fighting, Sou is the type that uses things like strategy and numbers to take control of the fight. Uses everything in his power to fight the enemy and uses a long pole ax to hold enemies at range with aid from his fire bending.
Personality: Level Headed yet controling, a man who has risen fast in the ranks of the army and knows how to play the game of life. He is foremost one that looks after oneself, but he has his few Weaks Spots.
Bio: A young rising star of the military who has done the impossible and more to keep his rank and position. Not one that cares much about justice or morality, he looks after himself, his soldiers and the Fire Nation in that order, everything else is not important.
He was an orphan taking in by a large family with conections and he used that to spring board himself into the world, becoming a man of the army at the age of 12.

He dreams big and is in the lookout of something that might help him in the long run.

He finally spotted it, a small black, hawk winging around in the sky with a message in its claws, slowly descending. Audro’s hand twitched towards one of his throwing knifes, until he realized that it was his own messenger hawk. Looking around to see if he was out of ear shot, he gave a quite bird caw; a single to the hawk above.

The hawk seemed to look down, before speeding towards Audro and landing on his shoulder, holding out its leg with the message on it. Audro grabbed the message and started reading it, while patting the black, hawk on his shoulder. “We are moving to war soon…kill all patrols and commanders as possible…try to find out their movements…stay hidden…Understood?” The message asked the spy; quickly taking out a quill pen and a bottle of ink, he quickly jotted down a reply on a piece of paper. “Understood…” Before tapping it to the hawk’s leg and sending it off into the sky. “So…let’s go kill a patrol…” He grinned to himself as he took of in the bushes next to the road.

Something immense had just transpired, and the exceptional youth did not need to hear the colossal clamor to sense it. He could experience it within the earth beneath his existence.

“Do you hear that?” Mako questioned as he hurriedly stood upwards, fixing his posture. “It sounded like a big boulder just came crashing down.”

“I didn’t hear anything,” Shao remarked as he positioned the multitude of sticks and branches his younger brother had freshly discovered into a petite carrier. “…But, if you really did hear a boulder come crashing down, then we have to check it out.”

Audro, had managed to get ahead of the patrol, by taking a faster route through the trees. It was he, who had sent the boulder smashing down towards the patrol, killing at least five of the soldiers and leaving the other five alive, who had survived only by luck. “Damn it!” Audro swore as he jumped down, in front of the confused soldiers holding out one of his swords menacingly. The patrol might not have known where the boulder came from, but they did know an enemy. “ATTACK!” Yelled out the commander who had also survived. “I need some sword practice…” Audro mumbled as he drew out his second sword, and charged towards the patrol, swinging his swords.

Fight Style: He has been seen lighting his battleaxe on fire and battling with it. If this does not take his opponent down quickly or if he sees his opponent is very strong, he resorts to using powerful firebending along with his battleaxe. In extreme situations, he makes fire surround his body as if he's lighting himself on fire, and seems to go crazy with firebending.
Personality: Lee is very calm at times, and is a very nice person, despite what happened during his childhood, but he sometimes acts as if he's gone crazy.
Bio: Lee was the son of his father, the great Fire Nation General, Lee, and his mother, a very talented firebender named Sallee. and is named after his father. At the age of 4, while playing outside with his brother, a group of earthbender's came and used earthbending to make his house go down into the ground, sealing away his family in the ground to die. Lee seemed to go crazy at the sight of his family being buried underground, and he gave off a loud scream before he unleashed all of his anger, turning it into fire and releasing it from his body. This resulted in a very big release, and the earthbenders were killed, but in the process his 3 year old brother was killed as well. He was found by a squad from the Fire Nation Army patrolling by, and they saw how many trees were burned down around him, and all of the earthbenders killed. They quickly recruited him, and trained him in the art of fighting and firebending. Soon enough, he became an assassin for the army, killing Earthbenders very easily at a very young age. But one day it seems after all of the missions he's gone crazy, and he turned on his people. He took on his entire village at the age of 18, and defeated all of the soldiers. He was crying after burning down the whole village, seeming to be still troubled of the terrible thing that happened to his family. A wise man came by, and helped out Lee, training him in perfecting his firebending and helping him with his troubles. After two years Lee was became a powerful firebender, and left the wise old man, the man giving him a long battleaxe. Lee soon found out about his family's death, finding out that what he thought was a coincidence of the fire nation army finding him, turned out to be planned. They had hired the earthbenders to kill Lee's family because they've seen his mother and father's ability to firebend, but when they asked to take Lee in and train him, they refused, and the Fire Nation was forced to get Lee no matter what the cost. When he was 20 years old he attacked a heavily guarded Fire Nation village where he found out the squad of fire nation soldiers that took him into the army were living, and when he was approaching the center of the village, things began to become hopeless for him. He soon started learning of a better way to fight, and lit his battleaxe on fire, fighting off the powerful soldiers. When he reached the center there was one soldier left, a powerful man named Tal Na. With how Lee was tired, and Tal Na being the powerful firebender that he is, Tal easily defeated Lee, and raised his sword over Lee, preparing to kill him. But then Lee remembered of his family, and how he wanted revenge, so he let out his fire, now lighting his body on fire, and quickly defeated the man. Lee left the city in shambles, burning down. After training for a year, he decided to visit the wise man that trained him, but he found out the man was killed by earthbenders. So from then on he sought out to train hard to be able to gain revenge for all of the people who have given him troubles, until he saw how much troubles people around him were having, so he began to start helping people. Currently he lives in the middle of a forest, in a tent, but only goes there to rest every once and a while after doing his rounds of busting out people wrongfully put in jail and stopping the mistreatment of good people.
Appearance: He has black hair, has strong muscles, is very tall, being 6 foot 7inches tall.

Rei's eyes re-focused. Something had hit him in the head. A small rock. Nothing too major, right? He looked up, noticing a much larger boulder. That most certainly had not been there a minute ago. And didn't he hear a loud crash before that rock hit him?

Maybe the rock hit me harder than I thought? He touched his scalp, and winced in pain as he found a large bruise. Apparently... He sighed. That was his luck. As always.

Now what? It was a quick decision, one made not by him, but by the strange forces of Fate. He jumped.

Apparently the Fire Nation liked cats. And Rei, despite his many travels, hadn't seen one in a long time. To his surprise, a cat found him. And disliked him. And, because of his horrible luck, decided to claw his legs.

Rei yelped and jumped onto the side of a cliff, only to find five soldiers of a patrol unit gazing back at him. He was holding on to the edge of the cliff, simply staring at them. And they were staring back at him.

"Uhh.....hi?" Rei blinked. They turned their gaze back to the escaping man, ignoring Rei completely. "Rude..." The Water-Nation boy glared. "Fine...works for me."

Audro had been about to charge towards the soldiers when he was rudely interrupted by was water nation boy dragging himself up the cliff. He watched amused as all the patrol turned to look at him, and then turned back to Audro. “Ready?” He asked calmly as he stepped forward, and easily lopped of the head of the first soldier, watching as it bounced down the hill. However he was not so lucky as the next four, charged at him, swinging their swords widely. “Help me!” He yelled at the water nation boy, as he jumped backwards from the swords.

As leon walks into a fire natoin alleyway two guards spot him..as they run toward him he draws his swords...he uses fire bending on his swords & sets them on fire....he know how to enter a sword into a human body without hitting any vital organs...he jumps over both of them & stabs both ofthem in the stomah....they pass out.....he flee's the scene..

Audro rolled his eyes, as the young boy complained about the odds before running up a tree. Never trust the odds… Audro muttered in his head, as he blocked one of the soldiers blows with his sword, before swinging his other sword behind his back, stabbing the man that had snuck up behind him. He drew the sword out of the soldier, swung it around and lopped off two more heads. The last member of the patrol, who happened to be the commander; took a look at the dead soldiers and made a run for it, only to be stopped by a giant boulder smashing into the back of his head which had been propelled by Audro’s earth bending.

Letting out a sigh, the young spy cleaned his swords on the grass, before walking over to the tree where the other boy had climbed up into. “I can tell your water nation, now I’m an ally of them….now tell me…who are you?” He asked as he offered a hand to the boy in the tree.

Rei narrowed his eyes at the man. "No offense, but watching someone kill a few people makes me a little uneasy. Besides...I have no clue who you are. For all I know, you'll kill me the second I drop down." He steadied himself against the trunk of the tree.

"I don't trust you. Call me paranoid if you want..." He glared again, "If you don't mind...I have other things to do."

As leon awakes he sees a person that looks suspicously weird........he is heavly armed with armor,spears,swords,bow's,arrow's,& a shield.....As he turns his face he spots leon & charges at him....quickly thinking he traps the man with his earth bending...Leon:Wats your deal old man...Man:your not from here are you...Leon:why does it matter,i asked you a question...Man:your a earthbender too huh...Leon:what???.....the man earth bends his way out of the trap.....Leon:your an earth bender?????........Man:yes i am.....we must talk.....leon and the man walk very swiftly.....Leon:were are we goi-- Man:shhhhhhhh....(man points up) two fire nation soiders walking arouds the perimeter.....Man:*lets go*

Rex smiled as he stood up in his jail cell. "Time to leave" Rex said smiling. He bit into his chicken bone. As he broke the bone in his mouth he used the sharp parts of the broken bone to pick at the lock of his cell he smiled when he herd a loud clicking noise. He opened the jail cell and smiled. "Time to get the hell out of here" Rex said as he slowly started walking down the hall way of the prison. When two guards walked down towards him he hid in another empty cell. As the walked past he quickly made his way out of the prison and down to the city.

Rei narrowed his eyes at the man. "No offense, but watching someone kill a few people makes me a little uneasy. Besides...I have no clue who you are. For all I know, you'll kill me the second I drop down." He steadied himself against the trunk of the tree.

Audro shrugged, as he looked up at the young boy. The boy was water nation, but it seemed he had enough brains to survive in the Fire Nation. So he shrugged and started to walk away, before he had walked ten metres though, he turned called back. “You better get going soon….I made quite a lot of noise….” Once this was finished, he continued walking off into the distance, following his original orders.
