I love this anime. By far one of my favorites.

What I find it unique for is the allegory of Genesis from the bible. It's very good.

I've seen all 28 episodes and all 3 endings. Although the animation of the characters (out of story line) isn't too great, the great VA's make up for it. Especially Misato. ;)

They are coming out with new evangelion movies. Three of them that kind of synapse what has already happened and go into more detail. The first series totally bummed me out. I guess that they ran out of money at the end of the series and that is why it goes all theological.-Sarahphina;)

evangelion is one of the best animes iv ever seen. i love the evas and the relationship between rei and shinji. askus a slut:mad: but the end was a total let down:( and i cant wait for the live action movei, but it sucks, itll probly come out long after kh3:(

one of the best anime I ever seen. I watch the movie last week very good... The author behind Neon Genesis Evangelion also behind the third season of Digimon, Digimon Tamers it was much darker than the other reasons.

I'd say it's my personal favorite. I like the incorporation of the biblical theme and the characters fit very well with the story. The movie "End of Evangelion" was infinately better than the final episode they made. Definately a better way to end the series.

Evangelion was a great show. The story was great, not ur average heroes for an anime. but it did leave me confused about a lot of thingsThat's why you try to piece together things. Most of the time in an anime like NGE, you'll have to watch it a few times and then know some other stuff pre-emptively (such as biblical themes, the stories and allegories it portrays, etc).

Yes, very good anime though. I've watched the entire thing at least once every year since 2005. Truly an outstanding piece. I <3 the movie that just came out in Japan (the rebuild) too. Though, for some reason, they felt it was necessary to spoil Adam way too early. >_>

the hints to Gerry Anderson, the angst, the fanservice...plus the awesome angels. And the symbology. How I love symbology.
It's like someone made a series just for me, yaaay. But the english dub makes my ears bleed:(
