Torrents. ;|

Much as I hate to admit. I also work with a guy who has enough money to constantly buy anime, so I borrow a lot of the good stuff from him. Honestly the quality that you get when you buy the stuff is tremendous compared to most of the XVid/DivX stuff you download. If I had the money I'd go the legit route.

YOU TUBE FTW, but if it is some type of manga i use but torrent

YouTUBE is a horrible place to get anime... it's extremely low quality and finding JP audio with english subs is difficult... Personally, I prefer to download straight .AVI's and burn them onto DVD's so I can watch anime the way it's supposed to be watched: On a big screen with a sound system. Oh yeah. :P

He's right about this one actually. However I believe that if you want to see it and if there's nothing left to do than sure go ahead to YouTube. Just be patient, there will be websites giving you anime sooner or later. ^.^

Don't download your anime its illegal, they have a hard enough time getting enough money together to complete anime series. You wonder why some of the anime series you love end poorly? Well its because of people not buying the anime and illegally pirating it or watching it online. So don't do this. You're hurting yourselves in the end. I get my anime online. Usually Amazon or something. I usually wait until the thin pack box sets come out and buy series at a time.-Sarah

Animefreaks.tv has alot of good anime and you can request an anime if they don't have it and they are pertty good with uploading new anime fast, the quailty isn't the best but it's better the Veoh and youtube. AZN.tv has a lot of anime if you have permium account but it's and underground site so only if someone sends you an invite will you be able to join, I have 3 lesf so if you want me to send you one I can, unless you already have an account. You can also download that what I did when I started watching Death Note, Sukisho and Okane Ga Nai

I used to buy...but then I could afford about 1 disc every six weeks...IF I only used my money on anime. So then I started to rent...and that was okay for a while. But I still didn't actually get much viewing. So now I watch on Veoh, or Youtube or whatever, for free, whenever I like. I would like to legally buy anime, but I simply can't afford it.

If they aren't on the main streaming sites I use, then I just go to YouTube or stupid Megavideo. Megavideo is usually my last resort though.

This is why I hate getting my anime via youtube/megavideo. Veoh sometimes has good quality, depending on the uploader and chance guess. And iMeeb (or whatever it is) is tolerable.

I like downloading an actual file because then you can have it on the go and can watch it without being connected to the internet.

Seeing as I'm not that big an anime watcher, and the fact that the few anime I'm interested in at the moment (Bleach, Pokemon) aren't very hard to find, I just use Youtube seeing as everyone and their mother seems to upload Bleach episodes with subs, and Pokemon isn't very hard to comprehend with or without subs anyway.

ZombiGirl
05-16-2009, 10:19 AM
Youtube isn't that bad. Especially is the episodes were uploaded before that time limit thingy, so you can watch a whole episode at a time. Veoh is...alright. I like the downloader and all, but I find it very hard to find what I'm looking for sometimes as the interface and menus feel very random.

I usually just use google and type in [insert anime name here] Episodes.
Then I just randomly pick websites until I find one with good quality so that I will enjoy the anime more.
I'm too lazy to download anime and I don't have the money as it is to even be able to purchase anime either.

I end up watching it on my PSP, through Veoh/various anime sites [both Legal and from Fansubs] or I end up buying them.

I tend to bargain a lot, though. But I like my anime collection. I wish other follows suit instead of being cheap twats and 'pirate it', but meh.

Because your not owning a digital copy you didn't pay for. It means that you couldn't watch on your on tvset at your own leisure. But rather, it's like more akin to borrowing a copy to watch and never keeping it.

I've been really pleased with Funimation lately and the fact that they are trying to expand. Just wish they would start licensing some "better" anime. Before i watch any anime i will always check to see whether or not it is available on Crunchyroll or Funimation, after that if it isn't i either download or stream depending on how badly i wanted to watch the anime.
