I'm definitely not the least bit thrilled or excited about it.
I hate Halo(and yet I played it yesterday.....) and don't want it on the big screen.
Imo, it will just make it even worse.
(No offense to any Halo fans)

This wont happen. MS are too much of greedy bastards and they always want too much control over property rights. Hence, why it failed the first time with Peter Jackson.

I don't think random, fanfictiony plots using Halo dolls actually constitutes as an actual halo motion picture that follows the Halo plot, but i get the joke.

As for this falling through the cracks, i really don't think the studio would deny Spielberg. If they do, then I've officially realized this movie will never be made. I've lost most of my interest in a Halo movie anyway, but it should be interesting...

So....those "halo movies" on Youtube are based off of a already existing property, and now that Spielberg is trying to make a movie off of the same thing...HE the only one stealing an idea? Really now...are you that dense?

I don't know what to think of this. Never played halo (only because I'm lacking in an X-Box) But spielberg does make a good movie.

It will fail. If it even reaches production, it will fail just like every other VG to movie project of the past. Have any of you seen Doom? I rest my case. And no, it won't be good just because it's Spielberg.

Peter Jackson is the perfect director. There's a lot of walking in the games so that plus Jackson is pure gold[/sarcasm]
