I don't know what this is classified as....buuuut
his is my darkness to bear, my burden to carry to the stars and beyond. This is the end, only to begin anew. I am torn...I once gave myself to the light, yet it betrayed me. I turn to the darkness, but I am too scared to embrace it...
In the light, there are wars...fire brings light and destruction, the break of dawn brings more bad news and war. The Light blinds us when we're weak, and tortures us when we cannot fight back. And we accept the light as our guide?
The darkness hides things. In the shadows lie creatures of terror and harm. The darkness blinds us as well, takes our sight away and leaves us alone to find our way. It's cold and cares nothing for us...and yet we seek comfort in the night?
So, who do I trust? Torn between the light and the darkness. In the shadows lie my darkest fear, yet in the light I can see it right in front of me. Do I face my fear, or hide away? Do I embrace the light and shun the dark, or do I accept the shadows and shy away from the bright? I'm so lost and confused at times like these, but a choice has to be made.
So, is it the light I seek? Do I will myself to find destruction and harshness? Or is it the darkness that I wish to feel? Will I fade into the shadows and disappear?
It's time to make a choice.
