Sadly, Its been confirmed that Kingdomhearts 2 Final Mix+ is Nomura last PS2 game. He will no longer be making games for the PS2. Which means Kingdomhearts 3 will either be on PS3(most likely) or Wii.
Scan Information:
-They did not add voice overs in an additional scene. There is a reason to this. (?)
-This will be Nomura's final PS2 game. Farewell PS2!
-The Organization XII Battles will be accessed through stone monuments that are representing each member. These monuments are located in new areas of Hollow Bastion. (Deepest Portion).
-A new cutscene has been added to the begining of CoM that is a presentiment of KH2.
-While difficult, the Organization battles can be defeated if you can figure out a strategy. They are needed in order to complete Jiminy's Journal to view the secret ending, making things even longer!
-The new KH project will be announced soon! Nomura confirms that it will not be announced at the Square Enix Party. He does say that there will be another surprise there!

Either way it's most likly the price will go down to about $200-300 when KH3 comes out around 2009-2012. So you don't have to pay the full price of $500-600.

not only is KH3 gona come out on ps3 but so is FFXIII
just buy the console when the games come out.
the price would have droped by then
I still don't get why this is such bad news. You can fit more into the game on Blu-Ray which will have better graphics as well, and when it's time the PS3 should have its bugs fixed and the price gone down. Then you make a one-time investment to get the PS3. How is it a bad thing?
KHII graphics changed when you went to different worlds- sometimes it had cartoony junk and sometimes it had Final Fantasy graphics. At least they won't be able to pull that crap on a PS3.
Personally, I can't wait till 2009.

I dont see the big deal with the switch either. By then the PS3 will have way more games as well that will be good if that is what you are worried about. The price will average out. Plus I heard it is cheaper to get a PS3 for its Blue-Ray disc which is cheaper then actually just switching to Blue-Ray by itself.

I suppose it's good to concentrate on the "positive" things, like how grand the graphics will be (makes me happy ^_^) and you get that pimp "Blue-ray" thing (don't know what it is, but it sounds/seems cool) and I assume the reason there's another system is that that it's NEW! and IMPROVED! and therefore worth 3 months of my salary. *sigh* I'm not going to rant about it since I'll cave in and buy it anyway (because, of course, that's where KH3 is headed to) but honsetly! I don't want to keep freaking buying new systems every year (I have to pay for things like... my education!) and so help me if it's even on Wii someone will be impaled. =3 spread the love.

You won't believe this this guy across hall at dorm. He can get anything from his mom. He"kinded" ask his mom to buy him at PS3. After she got him a 360. I think how the in world he got his mom to do. They not even rich,cause I ask him.

Final Fantasy XIII will be on PS3 as well as Kingdom Hearts 2:final Mix is his Last PS2 game.
Personally i cant see what you all can be complaining about you didn't think they were gonna make Ps2 games forever did you so what if PS3 has a hefty price tag its the way forward its where the games are gonna be and you know your gonna get one anyway.

Guys, I believe and suppose that most of you all saw it coming. I mean, if Nomura was already planning to turn Final Fantasy XIII for the PS3, I think it was kind of obvious that he was also going to turn future games for the console as well. Think about the better graphics and playability limits.
Nomura is not stupid, I believe. If he notices the PS3 getting popular, he will obviously not continue to create for the PS2. He's got to move along. Apart from the fun that all of us can get from the games, it's also business matters for them.

It doesn't matter what it comes out for I'll be able to get it unless it's out for PSP which will never happen. Other than that Any system and I'll have it.

Okay, remind me why this is such a bad thing. Everyone saw this coming. I mean, the PS3 is technologically superior to the PS2, so if you want the best KH3 experience, this isn't a bad thing. Plus, the game won't even come out for another few years. By then, the price of the PS3 will have come down to a reasonable price so that we can afford it. You don't have to go out today and blow $500-$600 on the system when there isn't a point. This isn't a big deal.

I heard they were considering putting KH3 on another system. Sony's been having some problems lately due to the cost of the PS3. So many people can't afford it that sales are going down, so people don't want to make exculsive games on them anymore. I heard the same thing for FFXIII and FFVSXIII. I can't confirm this, though, as it was mouth-to-ear.

Lol. Same here. Who can afford a $600 system like a PS3 any way? Or, who would spend that much. This is my plan, i'm waiting forever until the prices go down. lol :D
