i love this film, but i do think that is not the best ghibli film, i am a howls moving castle girl.

Princess Mononoke was a great film. loved the artwork and the storyline but i felt that some parts were never touched on that well. like his demon arm.

My first real anime was Pokemon, sad I know. Blush Blush. After that, I saw Spirited Away in the theaters. I was amazed. Then I was addicted. I have a serious problem. Anyway, Princess Mononoke was my all time favorite. I mean little naked tree spirits that run. How much cuter could you get. The story is also amazing. People vs. Nature and Nature vs. People. Seeing the destruction and blind hatred we as people all create. The natures sense of self trying to do anything to preserve what little is left. Its a powerful statement. Seeing the other side of ourselves as users. Prejudice. Great Show. 5 stars.-Sarahphina;)

[Twilight Dragon]

This in my opinion is one of the best anime movies of all time and my favorite ghibli film !! It has demons, spirits, and some serious action scenes.. What more can you ask for!!!

I for one can't get enough of this movie and I know I've at least watched this movie like 30 times!! and it never gets old! The only down side to the movie is that the ending is like 2 min...

Does anybody know anything about the new ghibli film that just came out in Japan this year?

Princess mononoke is pretty cool (the tree spirits are amazing) but i kinda prefer Spirited away. It has more funny parts.

I saw Princess Monoke and Spirited Away and I thought they were completely amazing. It got slow in a lot of places in both movies but I loved them. The only bad thing is that I don't live in the Asian continent.. -.-..

I love Princess Mononoke, my sis got it for me for my B-Day a few weeks ago.................it's a friggin' awesome movie!!!!!!!!!!! So are the other movies like Spirited Away, Holw's Moving Castle, My Neighbor Totoro, Castle In The Sky, Porco Rosso, they're all friggin' awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think all of his movies are pretty much amazing, this not being a exception. Although i will say, nothing compares to Spirited Away.

The music and basically everything about it is just flawless and simply amazing.
