I'm pretty sure since this relates to not one manga/anime that it's okay to post this here. It's very esoteric to in the sense i'm not discussing what's going on in the comics too that it wouldn't warrant being removed from here.
The point of this thread is that if you could have any three people to write the above mentioned manga's; who would it be?

I honestly say that for Naruto i think a american author by the name of Brian K. Vaughn would be perfect. He wrote a series that lasted over 2-3 years i believe called "The Runaways." It's one of my all time favorite comics and you can feel welcomed to try show me a manga that's better. You will fail everytime.

My personal favorite ^

Anyways; he has a knack for making great stories revolving kids and pretty much everything he touches. Also, he actually made "The Runaways" on the account to compete against Manga err attract manga reads in to read marvel comics. I suggest to anyone to go find themselves a copy and read it nows. Your local library may actually be kwl enough to have a copy. I know mine does.

FYI: For those interested in maybe knowing more about "the Runaways". It's a great what if question of "What would you do if you found out your parents were supervillains?"

Moving on; one of the other reasons i would chose him to write it is because he is a genius when it comes to story making. He makes 22 pages of story count for something. TO hell with naruto's 22 weekly fluff. Brian K Vaughn does more in 22 pages of comics in what takes naruto 88 pages.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Runaways_(comics)

Bleach: 1st Choice BKV Again (if he had refused or couldn't do Naruto)
2nd Choice: The Luna Brothers (Best comic book after Runaways and Planetary; "The Sword", "GIRLS" and "Ultra".)
3rd Choice: Mark Millar (The Ultimates, Old Man Logan, Kick ***, Civil War)
4th choice: Neal Gaiman (CORALINE (not Caroline) The Sandman, American Gods)

BKV would be perfect because he's Brian K Vaughn but i sooner have him on naruto. I just don't think the characters play up to his strength though he rework everyone to be actually INTERESTING lol. Aizen would be more totally awesome than he already is.

My 2nd Choice would be indie creators THE LUNA BROTHERS. They currently make the best image comic out now called "The Sword" about a girl whose family was murdered by Gods and she's basically going kill bill on them with a sword that makes her like Wolverine but with super strength/speed.

It's more action packed than any manga currently released and it one ups DBZ. If Christianity allowed it; i would swear to it. Look at this review I found of it to better explain why it's awesome.

Anyways, Bleach is actioned pack and i bet the Luna's could do a even better job if they had a hand in it. They're character workcompares closely to that of BKV in their depth.

Mark Millar is my distant third because as much as i like the guy; he would totally ruin it for a lot of fans. He tends to make characters cynics, worldly, and vicious for lack of a better term. Still; he's the best writer in the world for Wide Screen action. Just look at his Ultimates:

http://a.imagehost.org/0222/The_Ultimates2_issue1.jpg (http://a.imagehost.org/view/0222/The_Ultimates2_issue1)

This guy would nail a perfect Gin, Byakuya, Zenpachi, Shigekuni Yamamoto-Genryūsai, and Aizen. Hell, he would have a lot of fun writing Rangiku Matsumoto. This is assuming he is to take over the current writing. If they reboot to his vision; then i gurantee it would be good lol.

Neal Gaiman is Neal Gaiman. It would blow all our minds away if he did. But for reasons other than that; he would be a good choice because he gets the spirituality side of things. Of course; Bleach is meant to be action title first but i bet with Neal writing; it would be a deep exploration of the life after death.

Finally, for one Piece.

One Piece: 1st choice: Mark Waid (Kingdom Come, Fantastic 4, Ruse (my personal favorite from him), Flash, and Sojourn (one his better ones) )
2nd: Warren Ellis (Best comic in History "Planetary", "The Authority", Astonishing X-Men, Ultimate Fantastic 4, F'ing THE THUNDERBOLTS)
3rd choice Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Spiderman, Powers)

There probably isn't a reason why they author to change for one piece except for maybe he wants to be like Todd Macfarlene on Spawn and have other people handle it because he's lazy lol. Kidding aside; i do think that the humor would be affected somewhat if the last two i suggest took over but it'll be all good.

Mark Waid is good and i think he's the person that people would like most of all three people i picked. It's that he's nothing to radical or obessed with stuff. Like Warren Ellis is all about Sci-fi and technobabble while Bendis is about noir and people talking. Waid however is a just a great writer at the expense he doesn't specialize at anything. Still, i would pick up ONE piece immediately if it does half as good when he did Ruse or Fantastic 4.

As for Warren Ellis; he's just as bad as Mark Millar if you allowed him to be with characters. Most of them drink, cuss, and overall bad role models if you get my drink err drift xD. Still, he's my favorite author of all time with him penning of Planetary and The Authority. His authority run brought wide screen action into the mainstream for comics and it work great with One Piece battles. Planetary shows his story telling ability. For that one; there's on summing it other than it's strange, wonderful world we live in.

What better than that for the search of one piece. Still, i doubt he would ever want to do one Piece. He would do good work regardless if he was picked it up or not.

Btw, he's writing the stories for Iron man the anime.

Brian Michael Bendis is currently the head writer for Everything Marvel right now and probably could never do this. Still, his work on Ultimate spiderman shows how good is he with perfecting a small group dynamic though his Bendis speech dialogue could get people scratching their heads to put it nicely. He's infamous for the way he makes people talk but i for one never got a problem with it.

Here's a example of it:

Hawkeye: We Should go Out there Right Now and Kill Norman Osbourne

Ms. Marvel: Norman Osbourne?

Hawkeye: Norman Osbourne.

If you really get down to it; it's somewhat like the matrix when Neo asks, "How will i know?" and the oracle tells him "You will Know" . lol

Still he gots the writing chops for it and he's so good in fact he's teaching a class on comics in Portland University.

P.S. I wasn't going to keep the Bendis one on this post but then i already wasted all this time posting it.

ANyways, this is my choices though i have to say it took way longer than expected and i regret it >.< . Other than that, don't disappoint me and don't respond = O Spent like a good hour on this lol.

I think I'm just fine with Kishi and Kubo. I mean with Bleach I never have a problem with story line or animation. I only get mad at Naruto because I love it so and sometimes the story line gets annoying and doesn't shine like it once had. But it's getting back on track.

Idgaf about One Piece though.

Well I don't know to many American comic or Authors in general so I can't really add any names.

But at the moment I would prefer anyone other than Kishi to be working on Naruto. It has turned into such nonsense it's not even funny anymore. Naruto is continuing to become one of the worst things I have ever read in my life.

Although I do have problems with Kubo I think he is doing an okay job. He re-uses and steals ideas a lot, has really janky pacing and sometimes forgets what he is writing. But the way he handles Aizen is pure win and I wouldn't want anyone else writing the character for Aizen.

Oda is probably one of the best Mangaka's around. It is really hard to find anyone as good as him outside of maybe Osamu Tezuka. He really is a genius that has created what can only be considered a masterpiece(At the moment we don't know how it ends xD).
