The Story So Far
A boy named Nagato was born into a world of war and strife. Countries fell apart, great wars scarred the land that was once called a haven. A haven of safety, a haven of peace and tranquility, but now, the only haven this land is for...is a haven of pure demise and anguish.
The boy was rescued by his parents throughout this age of war. Many have fallen, many have died, but somehow, the boy and his parents remained alive. The boy and his parents learned of seven ancient beasts, capable of shutting tihs land of its war, and ending the war, once and for all. But "with great power, comes great responsibility (quote from Spiderman)" and these beasts had the power to destroy these lands without a second glance. The boy and his parents scoured the lands for these seven ancient beasts.
Yang, the beast of darkness. An eight-foot tall demon with the dark colors that of the color's of Sephiroth's one wing, and this beast came with multiple abilities, multiple powers, and multiple futures...This beast had great strength, so great, that he could easily stop an incoming bus going at full speed with only a flick of his hand, and this beast had the power of such great speed that an olympic runner would only seem like a child in comparison to the speed of that of Yang's. This beast, although it lacked wings, and thus, it seemed it lacked the power of flight, it didn't, for this beast could summon black flames that were as hot as the sun, and he had the power to manipulate these flames with such talent as if this beast was born from the very flames that he summons. Some legends tell that this beast stole these black flames from Amaterasu, and that this beast escaped Amaterasu's wrath with this power, while other legends tell that this beast is a family member of Amaterasu's. This beast, this demon, this powerful force, can even make the black flames into wings, or manipulate them so he could sit on them while the black flames flew. Yang also has the ability to manipulate darkness in any way he wanted. Yang is, thus, the beast of darkness.
Embrienne, the angel of light. Many people stopped referring to this as a beast, as a demon, and simply said that Aerith was an angel that has been sent down from the most beautiful places of Heaven to save the world, to help the world, to stop all evil in its path, and thus, it was called the angel of light. This angel had angelic wings and thus, had the power of flight. Embrienne commanded the forces of light, and could do with this light what she pleased, whether it be to create a shield, to create weapons, there was no limit to what Embrienne could do with this light, as long as there was light to be used.
Hiro, the demon of weapons. This demon possessed four arms, and this demon also had three eyes in a triangular position on its face, with one eye above its two, the two being in a straight, horizontal position. Its hair was in the shape of spikes and was brown. This demon's eyes could go back into its body and appear anywhere else, thus giving this demon the ability to have no blind spots, and this demon also had powerful senses, and this demon had multiple body functions, such as the ability to extend its arms or other parts of its body, and it possessed many other body functions as well. This demon also had multiple body functions, and its insides was an entire array of weapons. If one were to take an X-Ray of this demon's insides, they would see an entire system of weapons. This demon was thought to be a machine at first, but it wasn't, for it was the demon of weapons, and when called a machine, this demon unleashes its wrath, and killed all in its path, for although this demon was not completely on the side of darkness, it was not completely on the side of light, and thus, this demon was the center, as if this demon was...only human.
Susanoo, the god of elements. He controlled all of the elements, such as things like lightning, electricity, magma, mud, wind, fire, earth, metal, water, he is considered the master of all that is elements, although his powers are not without their limits, for he can only control so much at a time before having to rest. (Please note, Susanoo does NOT control time or space, and yes, with his power over the elements, he CAN control storms).
Zega, the manipulator of sound. Zega controlled all things sound, and could use them for multiple purposes. In fact, they say, years ago, there was a battle between the god of elements Susanoo and the manipulator of sound Zega. The battle lasted for ten years. No matter how much Susanoo threw at Zega, Zega defended himself with his sound. To this day, Susanoo hated Zega, and himself knew that he would one day get his way, and do everything in his power to obliterate Zega for ever crossing paths with him, Susanoo, god of the elements. (Please note, since Zega has the ability to manipulate the sound, he also has the ability to manipulate vibrations).
Clockwork, the master of time. Clockwork had the power to control time and thus, he could freeze time, speed it up, slow it down, and he could even bring back things from the past and use them to his advantage. He was once questioned by the god Susanoo if he had the power to predict the future, and remember everything from the past. To this Clockwork answered yes, but he claims the future constantly changes, even with a butterfly's flapping of its wings, thus making it almost impossible for him to predict the future correctly, although he can remember every single little detail from the past.
And finally, Andromeda, the wizard of space. She has the ability to move around objects, change the gravity, her powers are so great she can even move planets, and she has the ability of teleporting as well as, like the other beasts, she has great senses, great strength, and great speed. It is said that Clockwork and Andromeda once fought, and with the ability of space, Andromeda forced the creatures that Clockwork spawned from the past to attack Clockwork himself, and when Clockwork tried to use a time spell on Andromeda, it backfired, and Clockwork ended up freezing himself in time, Andromeda thus winning the battle. Although Clockwork, to this day, holds no grudges against Andromeda for she was a mighty being, having defeated Clockwork's power of time with her power of space, and even if there was that battle all that time ago, it is still unknown whether Andromeda could beat Clockwork now, for back then they were much younger than they are today.
They later learn that these seven beasts are inside seven people, and they scour the lands for people with amazing talents, talents that humans of this planet could never perform. Soon enough, the boy's parents are supposedly killed by soldiers, and he meets two friends, Konan and Yahiko, who start surviving on their own as they searched the lands for the seven beasts, and, the seven possible saviors of this land.
And rumor has it, that there is an eighth beast, and that this eighth beast has such great power that not even all of the seven beasts combined could stop it and its ultimate power.

IC: Intro: The location was somewhere deep in Europe. A large fort the size of Britain surrounded Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan. They had gone there to try and find the seven possessors of the powerful beasts, so far having no luck finding them. Although along the way for some reason all of their tracks were burned into the ground; *especially* Nagato's. The reason for this is unknown to Nagato, Yahiko, and Konan however. They looked around and saw a man walk up to them.
"Didn't you hear? There's going to be attack on the walls today. You guys need to get to the center of this fort, quick," the man, who's name was Zai, said. Multiple other people were seen headed toward the center of the fort. These people included an old man that went by the name Jack, a young girl that went by the name Stephanie, and a slightly older girl named Sarah.
"Alright," Nagato said as he and Yahiko and Konan followed Zai.
"All civilians please make your way to the center of the fort. All civilians please make your way to the center of the fort. Housing, residence, and rations will be provided there. Thank you, have a nice day," a feminine, booming voice said over the loudspeakers around the fort. "Rations? What are we, the military?" Nagato said. "At this point, we might as well be," Zai said.

"Miss I'm sorry but I just can't allow you to leave." "But I just want to see the battle." A pleading look appeared on the young girls face. "Dont expect that to work on me girlie. Now move along!" Sticking her tounge out at the guard Stephanie gave him a quick kick to the shin and ran towards the forts center. Damn grownups. All I want to do is see father in action. Stephanies father was one of the best warriors in town perhaps the country and she only wished to see fight. As she ran towards the center of the fort she saw others of the city her friends, aquaintences, and even her enemies. When the loudspeaker above spoke Stephanie tryed to listen but all she got out of it was "rations." "Wonder if they have pie?"

Zai rubbed his shin as he saw the trio walk away. He sighed and turned around and began to usher other travelers into the fort's gates.
"Jeez, kids these days." He muttered and turned to one of the guards who was idling nearby.
"Hey, can you take over for me? I need a break." Zai asked and rubbed his shin. The guard agreed and Zai began to walk into the fort. "I cant believe they actually tried to attack the fort..."

Yahiko was ushered with the others to the fort center. "Hmmmm. Why are we going to the fort center again Nagato? I mean its not like we cant fight for ourselves. Honestly nothing really can stand up to your power Nagato and how could stop me when I use my guns or swords. Hahaha, no. This is just pathetic of us hiding within these walls." Anyone could tell Yahiko's distaste even if they hadn't heard him speak. "Maybe I'm just to proud." Giving in to going to the fort center on his own, he didnt miss a beat on following his friends onward.
"We are beginning lockdown on all corners of the fort. Please retreat to the center of the fort. No civilians are allowed outside of the space provided in the center of the fort. Lunch will be served in 30 minutes. Thank you, that is all," the feminime voice said over the loudspeakers.
"That's just how they are. Apparently we're "too young", hahaha. Oh well, at least they're actually serving Lunch. We only got food once a week back in the other fort. Hey, Yahiko, do you think there's a chance we'll find one of the possessors of the beast in this fort? I can feel a strange sorta power in here, and the fort must be getting attacked for SOME reason besides just food, supplies, and money. The rumors about the beasts sure have been spreading," Nagato said.

Zai smiled as he heard the speakers. He waved at the guard and moved towards the fort's center.
"Lunch time, my favorite part of the day."
When he got to the center, he noticed the three kids he had ushered in a little while ago. They gave him a weird feeling, now that he focused on them. A weird kinda powerful feeling. Almost like his own.
"Must be the heat." He muttered to himself, but he walked towards them still. For some reason, he felt he should be near them, with them. But he not why.
"Hey, come over here," Nagato said, waving for Zai to come over to their table. Suddenly the sound of a loud explosion was heard somewhere around Sector NW1; the area at the top-left corner in the north-west area of the fort.

Yahiko was facing away, towards the guard that Nagato had waved over, when suddenly all hell broke loss. -BOOM- The explosion was in the opposite direction of what Yahiko was facing but his only reaction to the disturbince was turning his head to look over his own shoulder. "Well Nagato if that doesn't answer your question of 'if this place is going to be attacked or not'. I have no idea what in the bloody seven realms of hell would." Yahiko chuckled to himself. "Hmmmmm. Nagato. Should be investigate? I'm mighty curious and my bones are aching for a fight." Drawing his basterd sword from its sheath on his back with one hand he drew his favorite gun from its holster on his upper right leg with his other hand. "Come on Nagato. Pleassssseeeeee." He pleaded with mockery in his eyes. "You know you want to. Hahahaha." His laughter echoed endlessly it seemed across the fort square.

Zai noticed the kids wave at him and raised an eyebrow. As he walked over, a sudden explosion made him flinch in surprise.
WTF?
He turned and saw smoke coming around Sector NW1 and frowned. He began to run towards the smoke, forgetting completely about the kids and drawing a sword from the scabbard hidden from view due to his cloak.
"Damn..."
OOC: Kids?! THEY'RE ALMOST AS OLD AS YOU! Well, character-wise anyway :P
BIC: "It looks like they've fired an artillery shell from underground. Those idiots. They made sure the base couldn't be penetrated from aboveground but they neglected to stop it from being destroyed from underground," Nagato said. "Stay here. We're going to get slaughtered out there. It's rumored they have a possessor of the beast on their side (which they don't, Nagato just heard a false rumor, XD)," Nagato said.
Dammit...WAIT!...this must mean something I can see their flag. They're the mercenaries from all over the world. They're bent on capturing beasts. That rumor must've been false if we've lasted this long. The beast would've gotten into the wall much earlier. And I can't see a beast in sight. Or feel its power being unleashed for that matter. That must mean there's a beast in here...definitely, Nagato thought to himself.
"Hey Zai, wait, get back over here!" Nagato yelled. Several snipers suddenly shot several bullets at Zai as Nagato called him.

Yahiko wasnt sure exactly what was going on at this point. All he knew was Nagato had been wrong and that wasnt good. Nagato wasnt wrong often and when he was,... well lets just say it wasnt ever good. Yahiko chased after Nagato who was trying to stop the one guard when suddenly snipers appeared on the roof tops and had started opening fire on the guard. 'What in the blazes? First the attack on the wall. Then no demon beast. Now attacking their own men? Ok this is enough.' Taking careful aim, Yahiko started to take out snipers with his trusty gun Velgence. He continued running with Nagato as he took shot after shot at anyone who apposed him and his fellow friend. "Nagato what are you doing? We both can tell the beast isnt at the wall. Where do you run to then?"

OOC: The snipers are the mercenaries looking for the beasts by the way. They're not the guards of this fort, just so ya know.
BIC: "The beast isn't at the wall...THE BEAST IS RIGHT THERE!" Nagato yelled; pointing over at Zai as he ran toward Zai. More and more troops infiltrated the fort through the wall; firing their weapons at Zai. Some were taken out by the fort's guards but many still kept on.

Seeing the endless flow of troops come pouring through the wall Yahiko became excited. "Hahaha. Now something to fight. Nagato. I'll see you on the other side of the body pile." And with that Yahiko split from his postion near Nagato and took a wide arch around the lone guard who was being attack, trying to protect his opposite flank. Stopping in front of a long column of merc troops Yahiko screamed out his defianec. "COME NOW YOU PATHETIC DOGS! NOT ONE OF YOU SHALL GAIN GROUND ON ME!" Pointing Velgence at the troop column, he unloaded bullet after bullet, till finally his gun made a clicking sound. "Jammed? Velgence come on girl. I know you better than that." -Bam bam- The troops who had taken cover during Yahikos onslaught of shots where popping around their cover and shooting back now. "BLAST!" Yahiko threw himself behind a building corner as a bee line of bullets followed his path, a second late of getting him. "God damnit Velgence. Why now?" -click click- "I guess you're not going to cooperate... fine. I'll do this the old way." Suddenly appearing from around his cover Yahiko threw himself at the troops. "HAHAHA! I'm having as much fun as a mad man! HAHA!" Yahiko began slicing through the troops as good as he almost with his gun, almost. "Do none of you have no spine? I can walk through you so easily its pathetic. Why I could-" Dropping to his knees and rolling forward Yahiko barely avoided the downward swing of the blade. "What the?" Startled and mad, Yahiko rose to see a trooper member with a sword in his hands. "Not so good are you." The one who had spoken was the trooper who had attacked him. Feeling a thin stream of blood running down the left side of his face, Yahiko laughed. Dabbed the blood with his finger, then sucked it off. "Ohhoohoo. You'll be a fun one." With that, Yahiko threw himself at the trooper not noticing the rest of the plattoon going around their fight and heading after the guard once more.
"It looks like he's gone crazy..." Nagato said as he looked over at Yahiko. Nagato ran over and grabbed Yahiko's arm; stopping him and pulling him back over to the center of the fort. "Yahiko, you're going crazy, I think...I think you may have a beast inside you," Nagato said.

"Come on-" Yahiko was suddenly pulled from the mass of coflict. "Who dares to pull me-" Turning on his attacker he looks to find Nagato standing there, but it was the words his friend had spoken that where the biggest shock. "Beast inside of me? Haha. Nagato that is one funny saying. I'm just a berserker. You know that, 'One who likes blood and battle' hahaha. Nothing wrong with that my friend." Though Yahiko closed his mouth once he saw Nagatos serious expression. "My friend there is no way I have a beast inside of me. With all our searching if I had one in me then you would have figured that out a long time ago. And anyways. You are the strong of us two. There is no way I'm a beast weilder if you surpass me so far. Now." Stepping slightly away from Nagato. " We need to at least attempt to get the guard out of here. With that amount of power resenating from him these mercs aint never gonna stop unless we get him to stop leaking all that power for everyone to sense." Looking at Nagato hopefully. "Shall we?"

What the hell is going on!?
Zai saw the snipers on the rooftops and stopped, looking at them.
Just what is goi-
Suddenly the snipers openned fire. Zai's eyes widened.
Ah damn. I didnt think I would need to use it...
Zai's widened eyes turned fierce and he places his feet apart. The bullets seemed to slow down and Zai prepared himself.
"HAAAAA!"
A sound wave came from Zai's mouth and it enveloped the bullets, making them stop. They just stopped. Then they fell, clanking and clinking and he stood. It all took under five seconds. And in those five secongs the snipers lay dead, as one of the kids shot them dead. He turned and was shocked to see one of them go haywire. Suddenly there were piles of dead mercenaries, who stupidly get coming in through that hole. He watched and he knew then and there. The kid had a beast. Which beast, he was unsure which one it was.
Oh what the hell...
He knew he shouldnt have gone into the fort. He knew that the mercs were tracing him. But he had hoped that he would have been safe enough for a while. He had gotten to know all the people in the fort and had gotten to befriend them. Now the chances are at they're all dead. And now they were all going to die.

OOC: Just so ya know, as the rules say, no beast possessor can know that they possess a beast so far. When, until now anyway when everything's started to get sorted out, but anyway, I'll just take that as a random thing where your beast defends for you and suddenly shoots a sound wave from your mouth, but just to be clear, since your character shouldn't have knowledge that they possess a beast, they definitely shouldn't be able to control the beast's powers.
BIC: "It doesn't matter," Nagato said as he pulled on Yahiko's arm; continued to stop him from walking toward the guards. "Remember that temple we passed by. The scrolls said the attributes of the different beasts. The beast; the angel of light, wouldn't fight so much, so bizarrely, so that counts it out. Zega and Susanoo rely on sound and the elements, and they're not the type for close combat. Andromeda and Clockwork use space and time. You clearly didn't use any space in that attack; much less time. That leaves Yang and Hiro. Yang enjoys being a close-combat fighter, but not nearly as much as Hiro, so that means..." Nagato said. "And that also means..." Nagato said as he looked up at Zai firing the sound wave.

That was when it registered in his mind.
What the hell did I just do?
He blinked twice before absentmindedly cutting down a mercenary unfortunate enough to get close to him.
That was odd. But then again, my family had alwasy been weird.
Zai shrugged it off as some weird clink in his genes and started to cut down some idiotic mercs near him, so had froze in fear and he did...that thing. Whatever it was, it saved his behind and he was thankful.
I think I should get to those kids....

"Ooooooohhhhhhhhh. Lookie there. Let me guess. He's the monopoly guy. Hahaha. What was the sound beast again? Zeggy or something? I'll bet my right leg he's the sound one. Hahaha." Yahiko looked as the guard seemingly destroyed things with sound. "Kind of creepy if you ask me. Hmmmm." Looking thougthful Yahiko looked at Nagato. "Uh. Shouldn't we be grabbing him? I thought he was what we where looking for?"
"Get over here!" Nagato shouted over to the guard. Konan stood up and walked over. "We have to sort things out, remember when they told us about the emergency exits? There's one at the exact center in the fort. All we need to do is activate it then we can evacuate everyone," Nagato said.

Looking at Konan and Nagato he asked. "And exactly how do we get to the exit? I thought it was under security?"
"It's an emergency exit. They never keep that stuff under security. Anyway, even if there was security, it's not like we're felons. We'll get through," Nagato said as he looked over at Zai. "Get over here!" Nagato shouted.

"Ok you got a point.... Will you stop yelling at him?!??!" Walking over Yahiko grabbed the guard (demon) by the scruff of his neck and began to drag him with him. "Please work Velgence." -Bam Bam- Giving himself and the guard covering fire of his own, Yahiko began to draw back the exit. "Come on Nagato. Help if you wish."

He dropped that last merc and before he flet being yanked from behind. He was about to slice whoever it was but heard the voice of one of the kids, so he figure it was one of them who took hold of him.
He felt himself being dragged and he crossed his arms like a child deprived of his favorite toy, complete with the childish pout.
"I can walk you know."
"Alright, let's go," Nagato said. "Right," Konan said. The four of them began going to the very center of the gate. Nagato sat down; crossing his legs, as he closed his eyes. "Zai, I'll need you to sit down with your legs crossed in front of me. It takes two people to open the emergency exit," Nagato said.

"Yeah. I know. I worked here." He said while sitting down acroos from the boy. The hatch opened and Zai pulled it openned the whole way.
"Ok. Time to go."
With that, he jumped down.
And with that, a platform came up from the hatch and pushed Zai up and out of the hatch; pushing him back up into the fort. The hatch was locked again. "You forgot, we must perform the secret technique to open it. Sit down in front of me, crossed-legged, and let us perform the secret technique...Patty-Cake," Nagato said.

Zai cursed. He had forgotten of the emergency's defense system. He had gone against it, considering it WAS a EMERGENCY exit. That and he was horrible at patty-cake.
"Why cant we just blow up the exit?" Zai pleaded, but he knew it was no use. It was either this or having to literally cut through the merc army. He wondered why he felt the latter was easier.
"Ok. Let get this over with."
It took them 26 tries to get it right.
"Patty-Cake, Patty-Cake, get this right. Do it right or I'll give you a FIGHT!" Nagato said. "Aha, finally, we did it," Nagato said as he stood up. The platform went down and the hatch finally opened. Nagato jumped down with Konan.

"I hate Patty-Cake." Zai said. He turned to the other kid, the crzy one that had gone Berserk. "You coming?"
Zai didnt wait for the answer.
"Eh, come on," Konan said as she came back up the hatch. She pulled on Yahiko's leg; pulling him down into the hatch with them. Suddenly more and more hatches began opening up as the civilians began evacuating into different hatches.

When the explosion went off Stephanie had just reached the center of the fort. Seeing the fire of the explosion light the sky Stephanies eyes went wide. "Oh no. Father!" Running to the spot where the explosion had eminated from she found it overwealmed with soldiers and enemy mercanaries. "Father? FATHER!" Seeing her beloved fathers lifeless body lying amongst the group she ran to him. "Father! Father, please wake up! Daddy please!" Tears began to stream from the young girls eyes. "RAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!" A large hulking mercanarie began to charge at her. Raising her hands to defend herself the fires of the streetlamps seemed to leap from their bases towards the man. Within seconds he was engulfed in flame. "How in the nine circles?" Looking back towards her father, "Dont worry daddy you will be avenged." Taking her fathers warbow in her own hands she began to climb the ramparts. Flinging the arrows as fast as she could countless enemy soldiers fell at her hand. Without even knowing it however she was moving towards others like her; others with whom her destiny was intertwined.
Suddenly one mercenary pointed a rifle up at Stephanie. One soldier jumped at Stephanie; his bulletproof vest getting ripped apart by the bullets fired by the rifle. The soldier fell to the ground next to Stephanie after firing his shotgun at the mercenary; killing him by shooting off his arm. "Listen...young girl...go...go toward the center of the fort...go into the hatches that have opened...save yourself...your father will be fine...the meds will take care of him, go...please...your father still has a chance...but you...will be killed...if you do not go," the soldier said. The soldier's eyes seemed to be closing.

Yahiko held onto the guard tight. "Squirmy little punk arent ya." Yahiko held the guard like this for two reasons. One, just much more fun and easier to keep him safe. Two, Yahiko didnt know how this guy had done that sound thing but Yahiko didnt want to be in his line of fire if he did it again, which could be any second. "Hey. Little guard dude. I'm going to let you go. If I do that your not going to make my head explode or insides turn to jelly are you?" And with an act of good faith, Yahiko released him. Looking at him steadly, Yahiko sheated and holstered his weapons. "No need for weapons amoung crazies now is there?" With a broad smile and a wink Yahiko turned to the underground place they where now after dropping down into the hatch and he turned stark white. "....Um. Guard dude? Where do we go?"

Stephanie quickly ran to the fallen soldier. "Damn mercs. You'll pay for this. I swear it." With the knowlege that her father was still alive she ran with even greater speed than she had before. Pausing occasionally to shoot an arrow or two into an enemy soldier she made her way to the hatches. Leaping from the rooftop Stephanie passed right into an already open hatch landing directly ontop of the man known as Yahiko. Quickly regaining herself, "Please forgive me sir. I did not know that anyone was underneath me."

Turning to ask the guard once more where to go, out of the blue a small, but HEAVY, girl landed diretly one Yahikos head. "AH!" Collapsing under the sudden and unexpected wait, Yahiko had to slowly stand once the girl got off of him and apoligized. Glaring at the little girl Yahiko spoke, "Where the hell did you come from? How come we first are searching for demons only to be attacked by mercs, then this odd guard here starts destroying things with sound, and now you!?! And who are you anyways?!? Nagato sent you down here didnt he! Damnit! NAGATO!" Yahiko could be heard bellowing by everyone, even those who where still not in the chambers bellow.
The hatch above them closed. "Looks like this is the standard amount this chamber takes in; 5 people," Nagato said. "Yahiko, calm down; right now we have to sort things out. We can't open the next door and get out until we know what's up," Nagato said. "We need to find out what beast you have, Yahiko, more specifically; we have to make sure what beast you have. Right now evidence leads that your beast is either Yang or Hiro; and the evidence is leaning more towards Hiro. We'll need to test this out," Nagato explained.

Yahiko raised an eyebrow at Nagato. "Why do you keep speaking such none sense? I'm just your ordinary warrior with a short temper and a like for battle. Nothing out of sorts except that I'm mentally unstable, haha." But bringing his face back to a more serious expression. "And if I truly am a demon as you say, my friend, then so are you. None have bested me in a brawl, except you. There is no way with me being a demon and you not. This world doesnt just go by lucky chances." Yahiko looked Nagato dead in the eyes. "Now if you decide to follow through with your accusation that I am a demon. Then you will be admitting the same." Content, Yahiko leaned against the corridor wall. Confident that Nagato wouldnt condemn himself as well.
"Just because I'm strong doesn't mean you're not stronger or I possess a demon. Your powers could've been sealed up all this time, and unleashed when you lose focus and go absolutely crazy. Don't you remember what happened at that temple? After we read the scrolls you demanded a man to give us money. He refused and you almost killed him. Perhaps it's unleashed by anger and/or recklessness. That would make sense for the Yang beast or the Hiro demon," Nagato explained.

"My name sir is Stephanie Roseheart III. Now whats all this talk of demons. Dont you silly boys know that they dont exist; their the stuff of fairy tales, storybooks, L-E-G-E-N-D." Thinking back she had to admit that she had had her fair share of strange occurences. When she was four her bathwater quickly jumped in temperature from ice cold to boiling and then droppingso far that she was frozen in the tub. Another time when her and her father were caught in a lightning storm and the bolts came crashing down on them but they seemed to be protected by some strange force. And most recently with the enemy soldier attacking her bursting into flames. Was it possible that fairy tale beasts such as demons existed and if so could she have one given her past.

Zai had stayed silent as the kids had continued their discussion about he 'beasts' they could have. Zai, most likely the most mature here, stayed shut and let them talk. But he did think about the fact that there was a chance, however slight, that one of these five could have a beast in them. His mind flashed back to when he was six and he had lost himself in the woods. Begining to cry, the trees around him began to shake and soon they were all leaf-less. The villagers who found him were giving him odd looks but he payed no mind. He had been happy to be found and content enough not to care. But there were also times when he could hear the men speaking from half a mile away and they sounded loud and clear as if he was right next to them. As the kids pondered, he wondered whether he also had a beast and whether that was good or bad. Bad most likely.
"The beasts are all true. There are mercenaries after them. There are temples with records of them. They are rumors. There are stories. They're all true. You mean to tell me you didn't see one unusual thing in this entire war that's been going on?" Nagato said to Sarah. He turned to look at Zai. "There's evidence of you possibly having the beast of sound manipulation; Zega. Tell me, is there anything peculiar that has happened in your life that leads you to possibly believe you have a beast inside you?" Nagato asked Zai.

Stephanie listened intently commanding herself not to speak but in light of recent events she felt that she must. Stepping between the two Stephanie pushed them apart. "Now, I'll admit that there is a possibility that this man is a vessal for the demon," She said pointing at Zai. "However is it not possible that there are demons in more than just you three. For all we know we might all have one. And if you want to talk about strange occurances than i've had my fair share. So the possibilty for him or you or anyone in this city to contain a demon is there than that means its possible that we all have a demon inside of us." As soon as shed spoken the words however she wished that she could take them back because she feared what might be the truth. That demons existed, that they lived among us, that she was one herself.
"I don't possess a demon, I'm sure of that. I've never had any strange occurences or the like. There's a large possibility that Yahiko and Zai have one. Now, the odds of all of us having demons is almost impossible. Just because two people in our group have them doesn't mean any more have them. "Actually..." Konan said as he stepped up. "I've had certain, "occurences". Once, when I was six, something happened when I was walking along the sidewalk. It was the middle of the night and the streetlights were broken. I was really young and scared of the dark. I just wished it would go away. Then suddenly a type of light appeared around me and lead me to the right path," Konan said. "...Then that means...you possess...the angel of the light," Nagato said. For some reason he didn't even take time to reason it like he usually would and ask more questions. His eyes seemed to change into a darker, pitch-black color. His skin seemed to turn more dark as he looked over at Konan. "You!" Nagato hissed in a tone that was nothing like his ordinary voice. Suddenly Nagato jumped at Konan and slashed a black hand with black, long, sharp claws at her. Konan barely managed to dodge it; recieving five cuts on her right shoulder. "You...it's you...I've been waiting to kill you for all this time...I've been waiting here...all this time...and I finally found you...you've been hiding right under my nose," Nagato said in a demonic voice. The chamber seemed to get darker.

Hearing the change in Nagatos voice triggered his own deep imbodyment. 'You are the median between these two Yahiko. Dont let them fight here, not here not now. Some other time where you can cheer them on and laugh.' Yahiko was slightly startled by the inner voice, but took it off as a side note for the time being. Something had to be done about Nagato, now. "Nagato my friend. Calm yourself. You are Nagato, friend of Konan and Yahiko. You are no creature of evil." Reaching out suddenly Yahiko tried to put Nagato in a head lock. Yahiko could feel his blood pulsing and his temper rising. He slowly felt his arms shift and grow in thickness and strength. "Stop now my friend before I stop you." The voice of Yahiko was echoed by the voice of something much more deep, and powerful. Still trying to wrap his left arm around Nagatos neck Yahiko reached for his right leg gun with his right hand. Cocking it, he held it ready. "Dont make me use this my friend." That same powerful voice again. Yahikos eyes began to shift, fluxtuating all the while.

Zai grabbed hold of the kid and pulled him off of the other kid. He hadnt thought much of what to do after he did grab hold of him, but very calmly he began to whisper in his ear.
"Calm down, relax, relax. No one will hurt, she will not hurt you, now relax and....retract your claws. Fight it, dont let it take control."
Zai's voice seemed to resonate, sounding louder that it actually was. He maintained a tight grip on the boy, who he had in a headlock, and waited for him to calm down. He was unperturbed in the slightest about the boy's change, in fact, this whole business about the beast didnt make him feel different at all. And he wondered why, but didnt actually care much. Al he wanted to do was get out of the cramped and stuffy chamber and breath fresh air.
"Can we get out of here?" He asked, still holding the boy, who's name he still didnt know. In fact, he only knew that girl, who seemed a bit bishy (>.> <.<).
OOC: Bishy? What does that mean? Lol.
BIC: "Let me go, you fool of a guard. Zega is no match for me!" Nagato yelled. There was a burning sensation gnawing at Zai's arm that he was using to hold Nagato in a headlock. The light in the chamber dimmed even more. Nagato's skin seemed to be getting darker and darker. Suddenly Nagato flipped Zai off of him. He looked around. "I recognize that resonating tone. You possess Zega...he is no match for me...and that strength, you are Hiro," Nagato said as he looked over at Yahiko. "But none of you stand a chance at me, none of you!" Nagato yelled as he looked around. Then, he saw it. He saw the girl who's name was Stephanie. He looked wide-eyed at her. Although to everyone else they saw nothing, to Yang...he saw the immensely-sized Susanoo standing over her. "You...you possess...you possess..." Nagato said. He was shaking in fear. Nagato's skin began changing back to normal as his claws retracted. His eyes grew less dark and changed to their original black color. Nagato was still shaking. He changed back to his normal form as his body went limp; falling to the ground.

Zai rubbed his arm, grimacing. He glared at the unconscious boy and gave him a good kick on his behind. Then he turned to Stephanie, who seemed to be in her teens, and wondered how such a small girl would scare a man to unconsciousness.
"Now that thats over with, can we get out of here?"
The light in the chamber was restored. Konan walked over and looked down at Nagato's body. She picked him up. "Alright, we can go now," Konan said. She walked over to the gate and looked over at the keypad next to it. A small screen right over the keypad had the word "Lockdown" on it. "It doesn't look like we'll be able to go," Konan said, "We're locked in," she added. "Do you know any bypass codes to get through this?" she asked as she turned around and looked over at Zai.

Zai scoffed at the young lady. He walked over to the keypad and punched in "My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die". He looked back and saw everyone;s confused expression and chuckled.
"Everyone in this fort had read 'The Princess Bride' and we all agreed this would be a good password." The door beeped and he pushed it open, showing a long passage.
"Welp. Lets go."
"Alright," Konan said as she began walking down the passage.

As Stephanie began to walk with the others she made sure to stay out Nagatos way. He scared her. She had no idea what had happened back in the tunnel but something inside of her was struggling to free itself. Was it one of those creatures, the ones that shared the body of a human and saw through their eyes. She was almost sure that with what had happened there must be something there. Do not worry my child. I am not here to hurt you. If you wish than I shall be your guardian. With Yang near you will need one. The voice seemed to come from inside her. It had not been her own that she was sure. Was there another being insde of her body. H-hello? Is there anybody there? Her words were left with no response. She continued to stay with the group however she now walked with an arrow knotched in her bow, her bow drawn tight, and her eyes locked on Nagato.

Uncocking his gun, Yahiko holstered it. All power leaving his voice, and with his eyes returning to normal Yahiko became very tired. "You know guard guy, these passwords and activation codes really suck here. And you," pointing at the little girl. "Who are you? I mean guardy here is something demonically sound. Where as we both saw Nagato is definitly something evil, and I'm putting that light. Then the quiet Konan who is suppose to be the return of the angel of light. And me, someone who has something inside me as well. But you, you have shown no true signs of anything powerful and yet Nagato turned stark white and fainted like deer in the path of bright lights. Why?" The wearyness was making his brain think more, thats what always happened when he got tired.

Zai was somewhat impressed. That kid had a way with words. He gave a shrug, although he was unsure if the boy had seen it.
"My name's Zai by the way. I cant call you guys kids, so give me your names."
Another keypad. He typed i nthe password and waited patiently for the door to open. Nothing happened. He can the thing a few good kick but it didnt budge. Irritation set in.
"Give me space." Zai said as he backed up and with a roar he arged att the door. It didnt moe at all and Zai was left with a aching shoulder. He began to glare at the door, as if glaring it to death would open it.
"It looks like Nagato had Yang inside him, that's for sure. It's a good thing he hadn't gotten enough time to transform more, because once he got a good grip on his fire powers we'd have a *LOT* more trouble fighting him. Yahiko, remember, at the temple? We read about Yang's arrogantness. It believed none of the beasts stood a chance against him. But we also read something about Yang being afraid of a particular beast. But the scrolls we didn't say didn't state which," Konan said as she looked over at Stephanie. "Well? You still haven't answered Nagato's question. Have you ever had any strange occurances, as if you possess your own beast?" Konan asked.

Looking down meekly, "Well when I was really little my mother always used to read me a story before I went to bed . This one night she read me the story of a great elemental warrior named Susanoo. Ironically that was also the name of my imaginary friend at the time. Well that night after mother had finished the story something just didnt feel right like something began to rise to the surface. Tears began to well up in the little girls eyes. T-there was a fire that night. Mommy died. Daddy was horribly burned trying to resque her from the blaze. But me, I was completely unharmed like the fire was a part of me. After that night nothing was the same. The fire had started in my room, I didnt even have a scratch on me, and mommy, mommy was gone." Stephanie sunk to her knees. Placing her face in her hands she began to cry harder, and harder. "P-please tell me. Did I cause that fire? Am I the reason that mommy isnt here?"
"That makes sense," Konan said. "You possess the beast Susanoo; god of the elements, inside you. Yang is afraid of Susanoo. Susanoo had saved us all from Yang's wrath. It's not your fault your mother isn't alive. We found out the beasts had trouble controlling their powers during their possessor's earlier periods of life. More specifically, Nagato and his parents found this out. It wasn't your fault the fire was caused. It wasn't Susanoo's fault either. It was an accident," Konan explained.

Zai stood silent as he gave the stuck door a nasty glare, half listening to the conversation. But when he heard the name Susanoo, he turned around abruptly.
"Susanoo say what?" he asked, feeling a bit foolish. He stopped for a second and wondered why he had asked at all. He still believe this beast stuff to be a bit too much. Zai had seen a lot in his life and he was sure there was other, more reasonable to what had happened to the kid, who seemed to be the leader of the trio when he first met them. He blinked, muttered nevermind and turned back at the door, who he helpless like kicked.
"Yeah, uhhh I could use a bit of help here."
"Maybe I can help," Konan said as she walked over to the door. She focused on the light in the tunnel and then turned her focus at the door. She tried to focus on both at the same time. Come on Embrienne, please help, Konan thought to herself. Suddenly an arrow of light appeared in front of her and flew at the door. It pierced right through the door and pushed it back; leaving an opening in the door large enough for them to go through.

"Ah gee, thanks. That door was bugging me." Zai said as he walked through, giving the door a kick on the way out. He continued to walk, not looking back for he was certain they would follow, as there was no other way out, and rubbed the back og his neck.
Ah jeez. What the hell is going on around here. He thought and he touched the hilt of his sword, a nervous habit of his. It assured him that he still had his weapon and could possibly defend himself if the need arises, and he was sure it.
"Oh and I'd like to know your names." He called over his shoulder without pausing. "Unless you want me to call you kids."
There was no response from Konan. She had stopped walking and was just standing there. There was a shocked expression on her face as she looked forward wide-eyed. For a moment nothing seemed to be wrong. Then something red began soaking onto Konan's shirt. Now it could be seen that Nagato had woken up and stabbed Konan in the chest with his dagger. Blood was rushing down from her chest as Nagato got out of her hold and stood up straight while Konan fell to the ground. "Now then..." Nagato said in that same demonic voice as he looked over at Zai and Stephanie. They could see he had the pitch-black eyes again and his skin was darkening, fast. "I apologize for earlier. I was just so shocked such a little girl had such a powerful beast. But no matter. You have no control over him, while I have control over my powers," Nagato, or, Yang; the person who was really speaking, said. He was growing taller as his right arm began getting kind of spiky and black. His right hand turned black and long claws grew from his nails. "Now that the angel of light is dead, who wants to die next?" Yang asked with a sadistic smile on his face.

Zai's eye twitched when turned around. He saw the girl, the one who opened the door, on the floor, most likely dead and the kid that he had knocked out standing with a dagger. His eye twitched again.
"Oh for the love of-"
He walked over to the kid whose skin turned black and slapped him. And then he proceded to slap him a couple of times more. Zai was, well, annoyed at the kids's annoying acts. They could themselves apart outside, but it was too cramped in the tunnels and he was slightly claustrophobic.
"Will you stops acting like idiots, please, until we get out?" Zai asked, after he stopped slapping the kid, whose name he still didnt know, and knelt to examine the girl. She was still breathing, but he didnt know what to do. Bandaging wouldnt help much, she had internal wounds. But if she did have the angel of light on her side, she would be heal. Maybe.
OOC: Just so you know, the dagger is still stabbed into her chest. Nagato wasn't holding it. In case you want to edit your post or anything.
BIC: "Oh, I thought we were friends, Zai," Yang said as he laughed. Zai felt a burning sensation in the hand that he used to slap Nagato/Yang. Suddenly Yang charged forward at Zai and thrust his claws at Zai's chest; aiming to stab him. He had an incredible speed as he ran at Zai.

"Yang! I order you to cease!" The words although they came from Stephanies mouth were not hers. "This girl may not be able to control her powers but I can. I have beaten you once before Yang and I will do it again if you do not give that boy back his body." Stephanies eyes began to swirl, her fists began to fluxuate in temperature, her left freezing solid, her right turning into a blaze. "Now Yang return the body to the boy or I will destroy you. So is the command of Susanoo, God of Elements."
Yang stopped right in front of Zai as he looked over at Stephanie. Suddenly he began laughing. "What are you going to do to me? Your powers are limited in that little girl's form. Perhaps even more limited than I am in this boy's body. You stand no match against me. Why don't you back down before I kill you?" Yang said as he chuckled.

"Do you forget who was the victor in our last bout. All you have is your own power and that of the shadows. I command the very ground on which you stand! While my powers may be limited in this form they can still best yours that I am sure." Launching a small fireball at Yang Susanoo followed up with a rapid flurry of electricity. "You cannot defeat me Yang. And you never will."
A dark shield appeared in front of Yang; it blocking the fireball. The dark shield disappeared. "Ahh, you obviously don't know about what I've recently done," Yang said with a sadistic grin on his face as Nagato's body continued changing. "I stole the Black Flames of Amaterasu from Amaterasu him(/her)self!" Yang exclaimed as he threw his head back and laughed. "My flames can now easily smother out yours!" Yang said as he re-adjusted his head and looked over at Stephanie/Susanoo.

Yahiko was utterly stunned into to a frozen state when Nagato suddenly stood and stabbed Konan. The blood was pouring from Konan and covering the floor. Even as Zai was striking at Yang/Nagato, and the little girl was beginning to swirl with elements, all Yahiko did was sink to his knees. "Ko-ko-konan?" Yahiko slowly reached over to touch her body. "Konan?" His mind was beginning to fever, he couldn't think straight. 'What is this?' It was such an odd feeling. 'It is me young mortal. Hiro. Now Yang shall pay.' As if physically thrown up off his knees, Yahiko was held up by nothing on his tip toes. He began screaming, first from that to a man, then to that of a terrible beast. Suddenly, two arms erupted from the side of his torso, one on each side. Blood flowed smoothly from where his new arms appeared at then, blood began to flow from his own eyes, but it didnt flow down. The blood pooled into a small crevices on his forehead. With the pooled blood and with his skin harding, his eyes stopped bleeding and opened fully, including the new one that had been created from the blood on his forehead. Yahiko/Hiro, dropped down onto his four hands and knees. As he rose his voice rumbled, "Yang, you are a sad excuses for a demon. You are by far the strongest of me and you, and yet you have such a petty temper. I may not be as good as the angel that you left laying on the floor, and I may find merryment in battle like you, but this boy Yahiko would never have hurt a friend of his, Konan. Angel, demon, or god. It would not matter to him. He would've protected them and his friend Nagato, in Yahikos mind, would've done the same. I am no great power next to you, and I may not be any good for anyone, but for this mortal I will fight for his cause. Prepare Yang, because this is going to go out with a bang." As quick as a flash, Hiro lauched himself at Yang. As he head long rushed Yang, glaive slid out of each of Hiros palms, into his hands. Pushing off hard off the ground with his feet Hiro spiralled down at Yang from above, like a out of control bladed top. "NOW STOP YANG!"
"We used to be such friends, Hiro, haha," Yang said. Yang quickly jumped out of Hiro's way; standing several feet away from him. "I feel the need to kill you, Hiro, although I don't want to. Oh well," Yang said. Nagato's body was now fully changed into Yang's form. Suddenly black flames appeared around his arms. "I am so held back that I cannot use these flames to their full potential, not yet, anyway. But they'll still be good enough to kill you with quickness," Yang said as he dashed at Hiro and blasted the black flames from his arms towards Hiro.
Konan's bleeding was starting to end. With the help of her beast she was making a remarkable recovery, although she still hadn't awoken.

Landing in a spin where Yang had been only moments before, Hiro searched for him. Pin pointing him from the sound of his voice, Hiro did not turn when Yang adressed him. Hearing the egnition of fire in the air, Hiro prepared his skin. 'I may not be able to with stand that fire on my own, but...' Just as Hiro expected, he heard Yang throw the fire at him. Turning face first into the fire, Hiro rushed at it. Just before contact with the fire a great silver flash sprang from Hiros body. Hiro went up in a flames, completely covered but no scream of pain escaped his lips. Slowly as the fire died away from Hiro, all that could be seen was metal. "You seem to forget my old and mind warped friend. My skeleton consists of metal and weapons of all sorts. You can not harm my flesh with such a simple trick." As the fire dispearsed the metal shards of weapons slide back into his body and his eyes, which had dissappeared, opened. "Now Yang. Have you forgotten why I was once your close friend and such a good ally to have in battle? Have you trully forgotten? Let me remind you,..... I'm not one you want to piss off." With the glaives still in each hand, he pointed his knuckles at Yang and flexed his fingers. A kunia shot out of each of his knuckles (four times four = sixteen kunais) straight at Yang. Gripping the glaives ends he sucked them back into his body. "Now, let me show you something I took from a japanese assasian many years ago." Out of his main hands slid a sword from each. They had hooked hand guards, but also at the end of the blades was a hook as well. "If you couldn't tell these are called hooked swords, simple build. But limitless possibilites." A spark began in Hiros eyes. "And one more weapon." Placing his second set of arms behind his back he pulled a great hammer from his back." Raising his hands again he aimed and shot another round of kunais (sixteen), and rushed straight at Yang. Weilding a hooked sword in each of his main hands and gripping the hammer with both secondary, Hiro gained speed as he ran. Stretching his legs just right to give him better speed and stretching his hammer arms for better range he was upon Yang in moments. Swinging heavily from right to left at Yang with the hammer, Hiro brang the hooked swords in in a scissor movement. And just to prove a point, Hiro went for a vicious head butt.

"Hiro?! By the gods is that really you? I havent seen you in at least five centuries! However now is not the time for reunion. To the matter at hand." Waving his hands in a semi circle water began to bead on the walls, ceiling, and floor. Within a matter of seconds the entire floor was covered in the clear lifebringing liquid. "Now just a quick chemical change." The water had begun to evaporate, no it had begun to go back to its original form, Hydrogen and Oxygen. "And the big finish!" Susanoos eyes switching from their rainbow to a deep crimson Susanoos sucked in a great deal of air. "Anyone who doesnt want burnt hug the floor!" Breathing it all out at once a breath like that of a dragon erupted from his mouth. Igniting the hydrogen and oxygen in the air most everywhere in the tunnel was ablaze. "How do you like that Yang! The difference between our fires, yours comes from your black soul, tainted with the blood of the innocent and your own sin. Mine come from the heavens themselves! Therefore, my fire creates light! And I can only guess how much you hate that!" As Susanoo spoke the fire was at work igniting the air around Yang itself, leaving not a speck of shadow save for their own shadows.
"True, but my fire's very being comes from Amaterasu. And no one can defeat Amaterasu's power. Your flames stand no match," Yang said as his black flames fired off at the flames that were ignited around him. The black flames battled Susanoo's flames. Creatures seemed to form from the black flames as they attacked the flames that had been ignited.
Suddenly a shield appeared in front of Zai; protecting him from the flames. Konan was standing next to him with a shield of light around the two of them. "With all this light here...it's easy to make a light shield...heheh," Konan said. She fell to the ground and went unconscious however the light shield remained; protecting herself and Zai from the flames that would've been a severe danger to them without the shield's protection.
Yang turned to Hiro. Darkness surrounded Yang's claws; sharpening them and strengthing them as he deflected the kunai; them stabbing into multiple parts of the ground and ceiling. Yang jumped forward and slammed his left hand's claws at Hiro's swords; the both of them clashing while Yang raised his right hand's claws and clashed them with the hammer. "Don't you see? Keep this up and your possessor will die. That's not your own body your using. It's Yahiko's. Although his body is now transformed he can't take much more of this. That vessel isn't trained well enough to survive. Keep it up and you'll soon rip out the very last parts of his skeleton. Of course you'll be able to keep up for a while longer, but then Yahiko will almost certainly die. You're not fighting me with the vessel of yourself. You're fighting me with the vessel of a human," Yang said.

Cracking his/her knuckles. "Fine then. How about a game of whack a mole?" Drilling massive holes in the walls Susanoo/Stephanie made a system of tunnels around the cavern. Multiple holes appeared in both the floor and ceiling. "Can you hit me now Yang? Can you?" Popping out of the holes Susanoo/Stephanie was throwing minscule fireballs at Yang. "Lets hope this works."
OOC: I'll need you to edit that post and tone it down a bit, lol. You DO have Susanoo as a beast, yep, but Stephanie's body isn't used to manipulating that beast's massive powers. Neither are anyone else's. Susanoo has its limits when it's in Stephanie's body.

OOC: lets go with used fire to like burn holes in the wall, and popping out of random holes to throw fireballs
OOC: Alright.
BIC: Yang quickly jumped back from Hiro as he began blocking the fireballs with a dark shield he wielded on his left arm. He pointed his right hand at one of the holes. "Don't underestimate me," Yang said as he blasted black fire from his hand. It went into the hole and began traveling around the tunnels; blocking out Susanoo so he would have to get out one of the holes or clash with the black flames. Yang was going to try and snuff Susanoo out. Since the black fire had been launched into a hole to the right Yang figured Susanoo would come out somewhere towards the light either in the ceiling or ground or the wall toward the left. Yang walked over to the right wall; careful to stay away from the holes which had fire coming out of them as he looked over to the left and pointed his right hand over toward those three general spots so he would have a good aim once Susanoo got out if his plan to snuff Susanoo out worked.

Hiro could feel this body clutching at straws of life. 'We must move fast my mortal coil, or else all will be at the mercy of Yang.' Hiro could feel the acknowledgement of Yahiko, and with that knowledge came a little fresh burst of energy. 'Not much, but thank you for complying.' This body wasnt use to having its internal system torn apart like so, it was a strong body but this was pushing it almost to its limit and beyond. With the sudden uproar of forces of Susanoo and Yang fighting back and forth fiendishly, Hiro was caught trying to find an opening. 'Of course. He shall expect it but this body has a few more tricks before it falls out of lifes bind.' Racing for the nearest hole in the ground, Hiro regretted this move almost instintly. 'Out of the frying pan and into the fire, gravy.' Proceeding with caution, Hiro had to try and make his plan work around tunnels that where engulfed by the black flames, and those that led nowhere. Arriving at his location, Hiro sat in a quick trance. Not moving even though the fire threatened to consume him for it had followed him as he had fleed. Speaking in the tunnels caused his voice to reveberate and amplyfy as if from everywhere and nowhere at once. "Yang. I know you know where I am, and you know that I have not much more to fight with in this body. But we shall see if you can last in a body that is so unfit for you as of this time. You obviously are strong than the rest of us, but you cant have that much more strenght in that body in reserve. Now come Yang, face to face." The earth crumbled from above out came two great war hammers. Dropping directly on Yang from above. "And thats why I always plan ahead." Out of the ground came sixteen kunais, piercing the ground like it was cream. And following immediatly after the kunais came Hiro, with a at least a good twenty one foot long metal cable bull whip. The kind of whip that at the end of it split into three seperate whips of their own, but instead of leather it was all made of cable wire. Snapping the whip with his two right arms the whip went flying towards Yang, coiling through the air to wrap around him. "Now do you think you can escape with simple trickery Yang? Last shot, I better not miss this chance to blow." Punching himself in the mouth, a tooth fell out of his mouth into his left upper hand. "Bada bing, bada BOOM!" Hiro threw the tooth with all his might directly at Yang, the tooth was filled with gun powder causing something similar to a dynamite explosion.

Time for my one. Last. Hurrah. The flames that Yang had pumped into the tunnels had been a blessing in disquise. Using their force to propel him/herself out of the tunnels he/she noticed the plethora of weapons being launched at the Shadow Demon. Wll, that can be of some use. Sending a massive bolt of lightning into the bullwhip Susanoo/Stephanie could see the bolts of plasma arching off of the steel. Placing him/herself behind the hammers tornadic forces of wind could be seen displacing the air between their pommels and Susanoo/Stephanies palms. Pushing the massive hammers faster and faster they seemed to move faster even than the whip and the bolts coming from it. Well girl this may be our only time together but I'm glad that we at least went down fighting. Susanoo released control over the body. He was welcoming death! Not on my watch! Stephanie took back her body. Control was hers. Placing her father bow in her hands she felt anger. This beast, this demon, this monster was responsible for all of this. He had stabbed Konan. He had taken Nagatos body. And now he was trying to kill her. One word echoed in her mind. No. She would not let him preveil. She would be victorius. Letting loose a volley of arrows from the bow Stephanie watched as the shafts of wood ignited with fury. Blazing arrows now rushed at Yang. Arrows that were placing themselves directly in line with Yangs cold, black heart.
"What the-" Yang said, but he didn't have time to finish that sentence. He raised his claws as they grew and darkness surrounded them. Yang saw how Hiro's attacks were boosted further by Susanoo's elemental power. Yang quickly slashed the claws on his right hand to the right; deflecting fifteen of the sixteen kunai. One came through and stabbed him in the shoulder. A dark hand appeared and pulled out the kunai, dropping it.
The dark hand rose up as it grew and flew up at the two war hammers. The dark hand went over Yang; trying to serve as a shield. This plan had failed. The war hammers had gone through the dark hand and had only slowed down a tad bit. Yang raised both of his claws and put them above himself; trying to use them as a shield. The two war hammers came crashed down as they clashed with Yang's darkness-enhanced claws. "No...you fool, you can't beat me!" Yang yelled. The hammers had forced him to his knees. He had some wounds on his arms and hands however he had managed to push the two war hammers off by using the darkness to enhance his arm strength. His claws broke and fell off of his hands as he looked over Hiro.
A bull whip?! Yang yelled in his thoughts as the bull whip came around him. Susanoo had boosted the power of this bullwhip with lightning. Yang's armored skin felt injured against the force of the whip as suddenly he was shocked and burned by electricity. "Noooo!" Yang yelled. Smoke rose up from his body as a tooth flew at him.
Yang was gasping for breath, yet for some reason a smile curled onto his lips. "A tooth? A tooth won't do anything to me. Weaklings, I am Yang!" Yang exclaimed. And then, when the tooth came close to him, it exploded. "Arghhh!" Yang yelled as his body fell to the ground. A large wound around the right side of his chest and his right arm appeared as he fell to the ground. Yang had fallen; for now. The dark skin of Nagato's body seemed to disappear as Nagato's eyes changed back to their normal color. The sclera of his eyes were no longer pitch-black and his pupils returned to their normal, black color. His armored skin disappeared from his body as he was left with large wounds all over his body. His body shook from the surges of electricity that came every now and then.

Hiro smiled a wide smile of success,.... and collapsed. hs body began to convulse and spasm. His body was turning back and having epic shock from the destruction he had caused to his body. Way to fast did his body change from that of a little of Hiros true form back to Yahiko. Yahikos body wasnt taking the stress on it so well. It was trying to rearrange and replace bones and inner parts that had dissappeared.

"Well. Now that thats over." Her breath was ragged. The fight had left stephanie with little energy, but she had to push on. Fighting fatigue she stumbled over to Nagatos body. "I know that this wasnt your fault Nagato but I just have to do this." Raising her leg Stephanie brought her right foot down on Nagatos groin. "And thats for making me work hard! Hey you," She said looking over at Zai. "Guard guy! Grab Konan and lets get moving, this place gives me the creeps." Grabbing one of Yahikos legs and another of Nagatos she began to make her way down the tunnel. "I got these two knuckleheads so get your arse to movin'" We should be nearing the end of the tunnel, right?
"I'm...I'm okay..." Konan said as she slowly stood up. The shield of light around her and Zai disappeared as she wiped some sweat off her forehead that was gained from the heat of the black flames earlier. Her body was healing very nicely thanks to the angel of light that was inside her. She grabbed Zai's arm and began pulling him forward as she followed Stephanie forward on. "I can sense some sort of light at the end of the tunnel. Of course it looks like we'll have some turns ahead," Konan remarked as she pointed forward with her free hand (her right hand) at what appeared to be a curvy path full of multiple left turns and right turns (no intersections; just multiple turns).
Meanwhile Nagato was having a dream where he was running away from what appeared to be a large mass of dark clouds that spread forward as it came after him. The path he was running on had multiple trees on both sides of it. He could see some sort of evil faces and sadistic grins carved onto those trees. He continued running down the path until he noticed suddenly the darkness stopped spreading. He turned around; seeing that what appeared to be a large mass of dark clouds had stopped moving. He turned back around to see a figure sitting on a chair. The chair was turned with its back facing Nagato. He began walking forward; part of him curious about the person who was sitting in the chair and part of him just WANTING to go to the chair. It was as if he was drawn to the figure in the chair. As he put his hand on the back of the chair and turned it around he could see Yang sitting in it with a wide grin aimed at Nagato. Suddenly dark arms shot forward from the mass of dark clouds behind him and grabbed him as Yang raised his right hand; dark claws appeared on them. Yang laughed a crude laugh and slashed his dark claws at Nagato's chest.
The dream ended before the rest of it was shown as Nagato was simply just sleeping a dream-less sleep for now.

Even unconinsence Yahiko could feel the pain of his body healing. 'This must be my punishment for letting myself go to the demon inside.' Just as he thought this to himself in his black mind he was rushed awake by another surge of pain. This one was greater than all the others. His eyes snapped open and his mouth formed a O and a roar of torture escaped. "AGHHH!" His body was trying to fix his spine but was failing at replicating it properly. Renching his leg from the little girl, Yahiko smashed his balled up hands at the ground. His sight began to blur from the torment of his spine and the tears that ran afresh down his face. It could be heard soundly his spine snapping and grinding against other bones and the stretch and popping of his muscles. Just as the pain was beginning to become unbearable his arms began to snap in retrospective from where he had taken out the swords. The pain was agian, so great he screamed out his wail of despair to the world, and still he stayed awake. "AGH!" With one final burst of agonization, Yahiko became silet and unmoving even though the bones still shifted and could be heard. Even the tears stopped and Yahiko wasnt asleep. He was losing to his body, his candle was close to being snuffed out. A single word slipped from Yahikos mouth as he began to fade, "Marla....". Hearing himself speak that name gave his candle a new surge but not much. Yahiko would die if left as he was, for he couldnt keep back the demons pain much longer.
Konan looked back at the sound of Yahiko's yelling in pain. She let go of Zai and quickly rushed over to Yahiko's body. "Yahiko!" she screamed. She was trying to uprise her powers of light so she could use them to heal Yahiko's body but it wasn't working; her inner-beast was asleep. She was frustrated at how her inner-beast was so unhelpful at this moment in time. She knew there was nothing she could do for Yahiko. There seemed to be something wrong with his bones but she just didn't know what; and she couldn't draw enough of her inner-beast's light powers on her own yet. All Konan could do that this point was use the light powers she *CAN* draw to repair some cuts and bruises. Fixing internal damage was beyond her.
Then, suddenly: a strange sound came from the metal wall to the left of the underground tunnel. Konan tried to ignore it as she struggled for a plan as to how she could save Yahiko but when nothing came and the sound became far too hard to ignore; she looked up. Konan saw a large section of the metal wall to the left of the tunnel that was...rusting?
It appeared to be getting browner and browner. The metal looked like it was getting weaker and weaker; almost as if time was speeding by for the wall. Konan just looked at it wide-eyed as suddenly pieces of the wall began crumbling. The once firm, strong metal wall had turned into ash. When the section of the wall was gone a tall man could be seen standing among the ash.
He walked through the hole in the wall and toward Yahiko's body. As soon as he saw Yahiko's body he knew what had happened. Then the man noticed the people around him as he looked up. "I am Jack. I heard some sort of noise here and somehow got over here," he said. Although he himself did not know how that happened; he just wanted the section of the wall to be gone so he could pass through and see what all of the commotion was, and it was gone.
Jack looked back down at the poor fellow on the ground; Yahiko. "He appears to be in a lot of pain...I am sorry; but I have no medical equipment with me. I'm afraid he may just die. Poor fellow," Jack explained. Jack wished he could help the man but there was nothing he could do, or at least; that's what he thought. Suddenly Jack accidently dropped his staff with a built-in clock at the top of it. The staff landed next to Yahiko. "Whoops," he said as suddenly the hands on the clock began turning counter-clockwise.
The sound of bones shifting could be heard coming from Yahiko's body. It was as if his body was going back in time. "That's odd," Jack said as he bent down and picked up his staff. As he touched the staff suddenly a dinging sound could be heard. Jack looked down at the clock on the staff and saw it was the wrong time; it was the exact time right before the fight between Yahiko, Stephanie, and Nagato took place. Something was different with Yahiko's body, too. All of his bones were back in the right place and any injury his body had sustained was now gone. His physical shape was back to how it was before the mighty battle (he still has his mind and memories in present time since only his body went back to how it was before the battle; he still has memories of the battle). As Jack picked his staff up the clock hands began spinning clockwise and soon they were back at the normal, present-time.

Feeling Yahiko wrench his leg from her grasp Stephanie quickly turned ready for a fight. Seeing Yahiko on the ground her mind raced as to what she should do. "Leave him, child."[B]"But!"" [B]Leave. Him. This is something he must do hims-. Clockwork!" Stephanie turned only to see the old man she knew as the town hermit. Was he like them. Could he save Yahiko. As if by accident something strange happened with the old mans staff. Within moments Yahiko was healed. Setting Nagato down very lightly Stephanie gave the elder a look. "Sir, are you like us?"
"What do you mean, 'like us'?" Jack asked as he took another glance down at Yahiko. He was absolutely baffled as to what happened but something was definitely for certain; these strange events appear to have something to do with time. The aging wall, the clock hands, the healed body...something strange was occuring yet Jack had no idea what.
"She's asking if you possess an inner-beast," Konan said. "...Inner-beast? I have nothing of the sort," the man replied as he looked over at Konan.
Meanwhile Nagato was still sleeping quietly.
