You can't avoid it. Just make sure you're standing as far away from Sephiroth as you can and prepare to use an elixir/megalixer ASP when he starts to use the attack, or he will just come up and strike you, and then you're dead.

And when u use that get ready for his attack i suggest using a guard or runing and healing yourself!! Just make sure u have curaga

Yeah, it'd be handy if curaga was in the magic shortcut thing, with aeroga. I never used guard personally, but I've heard that helps too. I just rolled around and glided, but having said that, I've only beaten him once and gotten him down to the green bar all the other times, lol. ;)

you could just use double jump toward Sephiroth and smack the heck out of him to cancel the attake right before he does that attake thats what i do

Sin Harvest cant be stopped yes but you can stop the attack from ever happening all together. Just remember he will try to fake you out first by trying to attack you but then teleports to another location. As soon as he reappears make sure to lock onto him and either dodge roll or super glide to him before he can finish casting and attack him to cancel it out.

right as he is casting that attack, just heal yourself at the right moment. your mp will be gone but your health will be full.

Sephiroth fights in patterns till u get him down to around 3 to 4 bars. he will use the same sequnce of attacks all the time intill his health is low. dont forget right at the start to use the reaction command since he starts to use his dash attack before the fight even starts! just eqiup an elixer to your shortcut menu every time he does that attack that drains ur HP and MP. Just be careful when he uses the demi/aeroga/flare techniqe and run away from him as soon as he starts the attack. the comet spell does catch u off guard the first time since it makes u think hes going to drain your HP and MP. just keep jumping right and left and u should be ok. any questions ask me , i know everything about sephiroth.

Attack him before he finishes 'rising up'. Glide to him and attack with as many combos as possible.

yea im level 70 and i did farely well on my first try usin that method. i also learned a trick that when hes facing you (kind of following you), if you glind quickly up to him and hit him in the head and unleash a ton of combos:p you can deal quite a lot of damage. It works lol

do get extra damage on him i did that rush move as soon as i finished my favorite finisher explosion, then i get an extra combo attack on him, i also stay right above him and use a spinning move sometimes you dont get hit

His 99% Damage move(Forgot its name) has to be THE Easiest move to stop. Either using the Wisdom Ability then Glide/Double Jump means you can get to him almost as soon as he stops in the sky, giving plenty of time to go *Whack* then unleash all hell.

u dont wanna use the wisdom ability when he does sinhavest, since the wisdom ability takes 2 long, just double jump and glide, its far more direct and will give u the best outcome

At the highest level of wisdom, you move faster then when Gliding, iirc...Ill have to test it, but if you try it, you move as a blur when you do it. Then you can just Doublejump>Glide the short distance.

yes i no that, but even when i had leveled it up to 3, which is the highest, it wuznt as gud as glide and double jumping... besides, glide is faster ne time when u compare it 2 the dash, i think its called quick run... oh well

yeah glide is faster because with the dash you have to stop and spin first before anything else.

The best move after you block with the reaction command is land two combos and right after the second use tri-limit.this is also a good starting move.And when he uses Sins harvest the ninety nine % damage move before he can use it run over to him jump and use tri limit.I beat him on proud mode at level 47.I was facing him from 9pm to 1.45 am trying and then finally won

you dont realy need to glide cause I beat sephiroth the first time round without final form abilites i didnt even know final form existed until the second time round

its the only limit that sora can use with or without a party
oh and reflegas pretty good against sepiroth

I beat him at level 52 on my first time but the only reson i beat him was because i studyed him when my brother fought him to wear he would beat without him even touching him once.he hasn't played it in a while but he still fights him to wear he plays around with him.

I know he is hard to find. Do you remember the place where Goofy got knocked out? And where Sora found out that Axel was the one that took Kairi? That's where he is?:D If ya need help. Superstar will!:)

to fight sephiroth, go to the place beyond the place where u fought 1000 heartless, but u hve to ralk to cloud first in hollow baitian he will say soome thing like 'if u see sehpiroth let me know" or something then u go to that place

Tip for beating sephirtoh on PROUD
get to lvl like 85
make sure u hve that ability where it lets u heal if u get hit
bring alot if hi potion or wutever
make u got ultimia keyblade
launch him in the air and attack him if u can that way he cant attack u
but he will disapear after like 10 good hits on him
when u 1st start the battle, he will charge at u press the reastion command button (TRIANGLE) a bunch of times until he finishes attacking then attack him
he does this "sin harvest " move that kills u instanly, so make sure got that ability that lets u keep 1 hp left then heal
after he does Sin Harvest , he will charge at u like in the beginning press the reastion command button (TRIANGLE) a bunch of times
try to use curaga when u like hve a tick of MP left
blah bla h blah blah
REPEAT.
