i been lookin on and they hav announced that square-enix are creating a a new kingdom hearts final mix but it includes chains of memories inside it

Kingdom Hearts Final Mix was only released in Japan. But I'm not sure if they are releasing Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix+ in the US or Europe.

As far as I know, KHII: FM+ will be released in Japan in January or February with CoM being released in February or March. I have no clue if and/or when they’ll be released in America or Europe. But as they’re making KHII: FM+ with the English voices with Japanese subtitles, I’m guessing it’ll at least go to America - presumably about 6 months later.

At this point a u.s. release of the original FM would be entirely pointless, even though there was a scene in the english kh2 that had only appeared in FM so...

As they're releasing it with Chain of Memories, which looks completely different to the GBA version but with the same gameplay, they have a lot more reason to produce it - and as they're creating it in English with Japanese subtitles, I'm guessing it'll be released in America.

There are a couple of interesting rumors about what is going to be shown at Jump Festa this weekend in the KH2FM+ trailer. Well hears hoping that they're real!

I really hope that these rumours are true! I think it was a pity that you couldn't fight in the scene Roxas vs Sora. Can't wait 'til the final mix! :D

Nomura pointed out that he really wanted to put the mushroom heartless in the original, so it doesn't surprise me at all that they're putting them in this one. The only equivalent to them was the ball mini-game in Twilight Town.

You're right, he said that in a interview :) actually, I kinda missed them too :P They were funny in the first KH. Especially the white ones. I liked the side questes, when you need the white mushrooms for the ultima weapon :)

im pretty sure that there will be a lot of extras in KH2+ as they wouldnt just copy there game again. there should be a side - story for roxas. right from the start in KH where sora first turned into a heartless. the roxas and sora fight would be ace! there should be more forms and as you advacne more in the story u can have 2 keyblades!

Final mix means that they have added extra things to the game that wasn't in the original. For instance there is supposed (????) to be a new form available. I have also read that there is supposed to be an optional boss tougher than Sephiroth, but none of this is confirmed. I really hope it comes to the US, it would be killer. but for those of you overseas who don't get the final mix in your country, you can always order from the us or something. Amazon is international, isn't it?? I don't know...

No you can't, unless you buy the equivalent PS2 to go with it.

It's called Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+, and it'll be almost exactly the same as Kingdom Hearts II, but with some extra features they couldn't put in before, and some scenes adding more to the story. It's most likely that they'll put a longer version of the current KH2 Secret Ending (Sunset Horizons) in it like they did with Deep Dive for Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix.

Taken from my Jump Fiesta Thread:

1 - There is a scene of a battle against Marluxia, and Lexaeus.
2 - There is indeed a new form.
3 - New Area added
4 - A new Project is said to arise in 2007. No details yet however.
5 - It's believed that the Reverse Rebirth is a lot more interesting then before.
6 - In a battle it seems as though the Mickey Card is used.
7 - There is a postcard of Santa Sora, rather it's how he'll look in Christmas Town or not is unknown!
8 - This new Project text was shown after the KH2FM+ trailer.
9 - The Demo featured Halloween Town, and a (Unsure) Boss fight against Vexen? It's said this was to mainly advertise how tough the game will be. There seems to be no changes in the controls either.
10 - A "Stop" Reaction Command
11 - Organization Lookalike Mushrooms
12 - An Organization Appearance and Fight at the Colliseum
13 - Something about Versus (Literal Translation is Bloodshed Versus, however it's believed to be Vs each other, possibly a KH:COM vs mode remade)

There will also be a 3D version of Chain of Memories on a separate disk, and so far it's only been announced that the package be released to Japan in Spring 2007.

And i saw a little footage of kairi running in front of destiny islands after you defeat xemnas, and she sees riku and sora coming down from the sky like the end, so maybe they will show a little footage of how donald, goofy, king mickey, and kairi got to destiny islands without sora and riku. It should also show how melificent and pete fought off the heartless.

The final mix games are the international versions. The text is in english and the speech is in japanesse(or vice-versa). You can only get them in japan and are not released in the U.S or anywhere else. You could always go and buy it online somewhere if you really want it.

Well the release date is March 29, 2007...how long would it take to be released outside of Japan? In my opinion he's going to make it international because it's soo popular now. He has too. ^-^
