Help with Xemnas

Whats the best way to defeat xemnas final battle part.

I'm moving this thread to the Kingdom Hearts II section for the help on Xemnas:

This is really it. The final battle. It starts off pretty hectic. Sora is thrown up into the air, and tons of energy beams are shot at him. Continually hit Triangle for Reversal, and don't bother trying to attack Xemnas during this time. The onslaught will end when Xemnas drops to the ground.

Now you'll be dealing with all of Xemnas' other attacks. He leaves behind images of himself when he moves, and he moves fast, so things get very confusing very fast. You'll know which one is the real Xemnas just as soon as he starts to attack, which doesn't give you very much time at all to Guard or counter. Keep locking on so that Sora will run more or less in the right direction, and attack when you are able. Usually, when you get a good combo going, Xemnas will be helpless for a bit.

Later in the battle, Xemnas will resort to using mostly lasers, and he suddenly becomes almost impossible to hit. Keep jumping, guarding, and using Riku's shield to protect yourself.

After a while, Xemnas traps Sora ("Can you spare... a heart..?") and you gain control of Riku. Pay attention here, since this is one of the hardest parts of the battle. Remember that Riku doesn't have as much health as Sora, and remember to watch Riku's health, not Sora's. You need to run towards Sora to save him, but Xemnas keeps getting in the way with his shields, which knock you back and are very damaging to Riku. You don't have much time before Sora's HP runs out either. What do you do? Use Dark Aura every time the Xemnas clone approaches you to knock him back. Once you get into a good pattern (make sure you've locked onto him), he won't even be able to throw up his shield. When you reach Sora, use Rescue. Xemnas will also be stunned after this, so use that to your advantage.

When Xemnas has about a life bar left, a dark orb encases Sora and Riku, and they face... thousands of lasers. No, really. You're going to have the time of your life hitting Triangle and X (make sure you're hitting both!) even when the screen starts to fade out. A few missteps could spell your doom at this point. I suggest putting the controller down on a flat surface and using your index and middle fingers to press the Triangle and X buttons at the same time. You don't have to be super fast, but the faster you are, the faster this event seems to be over (maybe the length is dictated by the number of lasers you block?).

If you've come this far, you don't want to lose it now. Carefully kill off Xemnas (shouldn't be too hard).

i am on the final xemnas battle and this info helped a lot- thank you! Personally, I didn't have too much trouble with any of the bosses exept Demyx. I almost exploded! he took me a long time to beat and when i did- i almost exploded again. (I explode a lot):p

well the two best buttons to hit in this battle are x and triangle......they are you friend......but the part that i got stuck on for awhile was the part where you play as riku......i couldnt figure out you had to hit him with dark aura and then move closer then hit him again and move closer.....that is pretty much the basics

This battle will prompt you to perform Reversal incessantly. Using it will
either dodge or send you behind Xemnas, prompting a surprise attack.

The battle will begin with Xemnas beating Sora and Riku to oblivion. Start
by performing your "Reversal" Reaction command repeatedly to dodge each of
Xemnas's attacks. Once you reach the bottom, perform Limits as they become
available and cast Heal when needed.

Xemnas casts Teleport incessantly, so running will not be an option. Magic
and Limits will be your safe harbor, but you must conserve them, otherwise
he will imprison Sora. This will occur a couple times without much warning.
You MUST reach Sora before Sora or Riku's health has depleted.

Xemnas doesn't attack, but casts a barrier which has a bad knockback. Your
best bet will be to run around Xemnas in a circular motion. After you have
approached Sora, perform your "Rescue" Reaction command. Failing to rescue
Sora will result in a Game Over.

When Xemnas begins to engulf you in red lasers, either jump or perform the
Guard command. Xemnas will make a much greater attempt once his health has
nearly depleted.

You will need to simultaneously spam your X Button and Triangle Button. If
Xemnas depletes either Sora or Riku's health, you will receive a Game Over.
