Could this be a warning that the game is getting darker still?

I mean with the picture with the old man and all is what makes me question this. Everything is so detailed.

Should be obvious eventually the secret ending will be spoiled completely on Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix on Youtube anyway.

But that does not matter to me. I want to see it with my own efforts first if we do get the game in the U.S.

I don't know guys!!! I'm starting to think that this "Black Creature" may have some sort of connection to Riku! I mean look at this creature closely. You can see some slight resemblences between it and when Riku used to be dark (his costume in KH1...and KH:CoM). So...I do think that IT IS NOT RIKU...but it could be Riku's nobody? Or his heartless? Or something...well...it is something!

I wonder who that "old man" could be? He sure does look evil aswell!

(Look at the chest similarities....Riku doesn't have red on the front..but blue...so that rules out that this "guy" is NOT RIKU!!!)

Personally, the way that these new scene shots are looking (of the secret ending)...I think that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be the BEST GAME in the series so far!!! It certainly looks good....Now I'm pumped up to start playing KH!! :D

Hey, these pictures look really good. Thanks Riku for making them larger! By looking at these pictures, I can tell that Kingdom Hearts will be a little bit darker, because that black creature thingy walking next to that old man, scared me the first time I saw him...mater-a-fact, he still does, lol. NEwayz, nothing in Kingdom Hearts scared me until I saw that thing, so I know, this time, KH3 will be a little bit darker. But do you guys remember that thing that was always behind Ansem in KH1. He floated behind Ansem when we fought him at the end on Destiny Island. What was it called? Shadow Creature? Something like that. NEwayz, do yall think that thing walking next to the old man, could be the same thing, from the first game?

Ok...so I've been thinking and all about the "old man" and the "creature" over the night. And...(I am changing my original post from before)...I think that this "creature" may IN FACT be......Riku!

Ok.....so let me lay the facts down (or at least the ones I could come up with):

1. Nomura said that this secret ending (which I do believe this caption of the two walking we will see in the KH2:FM secret ending) is set IN THE FUTURE! So we can say that is correct. The only disgression I have...is that Nomura did not specify as to how far in the future this scene takes place....is it 10 yrs, 100, or 1000???? We don't know!!!!! But.....I believe the scene to take place around 10-15 yrs from the end of KH2 (making Sora and the gang adults).

2. Now this is where my theory becomes disgruntled with some other member's ideas. If you compare the two "outfits" (I will call it) of this "creature" and of Riku (in his dark form in KH1) there seems to be slight resemblances (this is seen on page 3 of this thread).

A. There are those wavy like appearances that engulf surface of each body.

B. If you look closely at the picture of Riku, down near his hands. You begin to see the color red start to appear...which may explain why we see the red on the "creature's" chest. (This is not my best thought!!)

3. For all we know...something could have happened towards Riku during the years before the Secret Ending trailer, which caused him to take this "creature" form. As he decided to change into the heartless Ansem in KH2.

4. Nomura only specified that those 3 "knights" in the secret ending were new characters...he NEVER MENTIONED these two characters (for they were not seen in the trailer). So...far all we know...one or both of these characers could be someone we are familiar with (on a side note...there has been some speculation on this forum that the "old man" is Ansem the Wise...but that is for something else).

To the point....I think that this "creature" is an OLDER Riku..and that something happens...(can't really tell you what would happen)...which causes Riku to take this form. For in all cases....maybe there was still some darkness left in his heart..which made him change. But...what I think is..that in order for Sora and the gang to fight whoever or whatever will be in KH3...they will need someone familiar with the darkness...which by all means..sort of points to Riku. So...I hope this at least has some significance..and again...THIS IS ONLY BASED ON PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE AND APPARENT GUESSES!

I think the old guy could be a parent of somebody or the real ansem and that person was the riku copys soul and maybe Nomura covered his face for a reason which leads me to believe that he could be alive or Zexion randomlly took merge with him but think that person the old guy could have met up withhim in the place don't now the name where people die or wait whatever is lft of you goes it may not be an old Riku nesecarily but a copy I still wonder if any of these people not the guy with heartless symbol I don't think but maybe the old man?:)

Thank you..I as well am looking at Ansem The Wise's outfit...and seeing if there is any comparison. I kinda see something between the two...but the obvious difference is that the "old man" is wearing a black outfit, and Ansem The Wise has a red one. But that doesn't mean that his clothing could have changed too...as it might have done to his body.

Well I think it's about time that we got some new info on the characters in Kingdom hearts 3.

It looks like that one of the new guy's is wearing the same heartless out fit as Riku did in the first Kingdom hearts... and then theirs some old guy with him...

And then you see Kingdom hearts which is probably more bad news for Sora and the others..

And then we see the knights again which is still a big mystery... And we still don't know if their good or bad..

Well, if that tall knight is the secret boss, then we can safely assume that they are bad.

That third screenshot is the one that intrigues me the most. I believe it also connected to the Keyblade War hence the armor. So, if it's Riku, then the Keyblade War may take place during the course of Kingdom Hearts 3. If it's one of the knights, it could be any time period.

I saw somthing in that vid that interest me,right after the scene were Sora is carrying Riku theirs a heartless with a body structure like a man, and at his side a bald guy which may be the Nobody in Pirate’s of the Carribean.If that thing is a heartless... this game's gonna be fun.And the area that their in looks exactly like the place the solders were at, the outfit the heartless guy was wearing looks similer to what Riku wore when he went crazy.I belive creature is the thing we saw in the haze.

I dont know if these screens have been brought up, but I had to get them by going frame by frame on youtube, which is kinda hard. and if they have been brought up, then I aint going through 4 pages of stuff to find out. anyhooo

1) If I remember correctly, it's Zexion's battle.
2) We know the scenes of Riku and Roxas in the World That Never Was including their battle will be shown in Final Mix.
3) Currently unknown but I believe it is before or during a battle with Marluxia.
4) I believe Riku had already turned into Xehanort's Heartless by the time he sees DiZ there, and that Roxas has already been defeated.

for #1 it's unlikely it's zexion's battle, as Sora never met with Zexion, and that is Sora fighting, not Riku. Zexion's battle is right before this where zexion is holding a book and the pages fly out

he wasn't holding a book before....... in one of the screen with Riku he just has his hand up like he usually does, then Riku charges at him and when he slashes at him he splits into sevral zexiones....but that's not important.

yea, just read that on khinsider, the Sora Vs. Zexion, and I also read that the contents of the book are spoilers, said Nomura. It remindes me of that book in Yen Sid's tower with that had the kh1 and CoM summaries in them. Wonder what in that book though (tee hee what If it turned out to be an auto-mechainic's manuel! -sniker-)

uh yea, all the Orginization members are dead. Sora, Riku, and Axel killed them all.

The Only way for Riku to have a Nobody or Heartless (which he 99% dont) is if Square creates another "Special Case" like Namine. Kairi never let in to darkness but she has a Nobody, and no Heartless.
