Definitely X-2 lol, with Final Fantasy II (not the American one which is III) coming second I think. There were too many problems with both.

The only real problem with XI was the massive cost which sucked.

Darky has got it spot on. FF7 is really crap. My brother re-bought it yesterday, and just watching him on it makes me laugh. How this game achieved God-like status is beyond me. When I say that he punches me, but it's not my fault that I don't see the appeal of it. I know so many people that worship this game, it makes me dislike it even more. Greatest RPG ever made? Yes, alot of people make fun of it's graphics. But graphics are not a big deal. If you play it, you will know why it's so great. The story. Not the graphics, but the story. And magnificent game play.

I didn't say that they were, but you are right to a certain extent. They aren't the most important aspect to a game, but it's high up the list. I wouldn't play on a game that has outdated graphics unless I loved the game in the past. Not that I play many video-games nowadays, but still... that's my opinion about FF7. Maybe I will create my own save to see if you are right. Personally, I love FFX-2, and it is one of my favourite FF games. But many people seem to hate it.

Many may think it's a classic but i HATED FF2...it just didn't appeal..and this is coming from my lips here, the biggest ff freak i know! I even have side games for the SNES related to FF...like bahamut lagoon in english (which is bugger to get :D). So FF is my field and i can't believe i said i hated an ff :(. I need to punish myself now. i'll eat loads and get fat or something, then play ff for days straight to burn it off o.O.

I agree with you there. These days graphics are really important in what makes a game a great game. Which is exactly why I don't like the Wii-If the graphics and whatnot are not improving, why put out a new console? Anyway...Yeah I would suggest playing a bit of FF7, the story is amazing-not the best-you're right, but still great.

I'd have to say the best music was in FF8 overall, although there were a few classics from certain games...e.g. cosmo canyon from 7, Behind the door and melodies of life from 9..Zanarkand from 10. Favourite from 10-2..either epilogue or besaid.

You aren't lying there, I have the whole soundtrack saved on my computer right, now. lol From 10- I don't remember the exact name of the track, but it was the music that played during Mt. Gagazet. that was my favorite.

But let's not get too off-topic here, along with X-2, I didn't care for Tactics either. Really wasn't much of a story there. lol Not what you would expect from FF.

FFX-2 was an atomic bomb waiting 2 go off. Terrible game. I think tht this game was spawned from the deepest depths of hell. Its was so unbelievably boring, i almost wanted 2 jump out of a window 2 save my sanity.
