Hmm, my favorite Final Fantasy Character(s) would have to be Yuna/Shuyin/Baralai from X-2, Tifa, Vincent, Sephiroth FF 7: Dirge of Cerberus, and Quistis, Squall, and Zell from Final Fantasy from 8.

My only complaint about Vaan is that he has a very wimpy voice, I think he should have had a more masculine voice actor. Vayne also, when it comes down to it, because he sounds almost like a girl. lol

Since the release of Crisis Core, it's got to be Zack. They truly made him what a hero in the FF series should be. He has all the inner struggles that make these characters memorable along with the heroic acts they do. Before the release of Crisis Core, it would have been Zidane from FF9. He has all these same qualities and his personal struggle is as good or better than Cloud's without seeming too much like an emo.

I would say my favourite character (perhaps only main) is Zack or Zidane, seeing as their personalities are quite similar, optimistic and good-natured especially when it comes to protecting their friends, physically or emotionally, works both ways. One thing that startled me was that both of them made a promise to return, sadly only Zidane returned while Zack died valiently.

Back to the characters, I'll say Auron or Balthier along with honourable mentions to Gilgamesh and Galuf who single-handedly took on Ex-Death on the verge of death in order to protect his friends from Ex-Death's torture, beating him into a near-fatal state that Ex-Death retreated in fear of Galuf.

AHH this is hard. I like so many of them. I like pretty much all the characters from X or VII.

I guess I would have to go with Zack from VII. He was always one of my favorites and probably top favorite.

But I also like Cloud, Vincent, and Auron, Braska, Jecht, and Balthier.
