What do you think about Kairi being one of the decendents. I mean do you think that the gods (Chasers) sent her to the island so that her,sora,and,Riku could fight as one... Plus in KH2 Riku gave Kairi a Keyblade and remember he was kind'a like a spy for them and found out info (which is not revealed to us well atleast not all of it) so what if he now knows whats going on with Kairi and the rest of them and is now trying to help them acheve victory???

Question: Right then, we'd like to ask you some questions about that improved story. First, was Kairi coming to Destiny Islands fate, or was it just coincidence?

Nomura: It was both. It's not shown in this game, and it's a delicate issue whether I can call this a living setting, but anyway Kairi was sent out from Hollow Bastion by Ansem's hand. And the reason why Ansem sent her was to find the Keyblade. There was actually evidence of that in the jail at the End of the World. Ansem thought that girls who are princesses would be sure to make it to the place of the Keyblade. So Kairi coming to the place with Sora and Riku was both chance, and also fate.

Question: At the end, it seems Kairi is left in the Destiny Islands. Doesn't she return to Hollow Bastion?

Nomura: Right. I often get asked about this part, but it's actually explained in the game. The Princesses tell Sora that everyone will be able to return to the place they were when their world was destroyed. Kairi disappeared in the Destiny Islands, so she returned there. Because she was physically sent from Hollow Bastion to the Destiny Islands, so she never actually "disappeared" from there.

In opening the door that stores a world's hearts, the wall around that world is broken down. We see this as a shooting star. Through this, I have been able to understand the reason why the material known as Gummi Blocks has the ability to allow travel to other worlds.

The cause of a world's wall collapsing is the appearance of the Heartless, but finding a world's door takes time. And robbing a world of its heart is a similar case.

If the door has been closed by the key known as the Keyblade, you probably cannot reach that world's heart again. Before the one with the Keyblade appears in this world, I must take measures to do something.

Supposing that there is a close relationship between the Princesses and the Keyblade, it seems likely that they will resonate with each other...

I have chosen one special girl. I do not know if she possesses a power like that of the Princesses. But, there is a chance, and this is an experiment. She may lead me to the place where the one holding the key is...

Who are you saying Riku was a spy for?

I think he means DiZ. As he was with him most of the time and stuff.

Maybe. DiZ and Riku were both trying to help Sora and the gang though. They never actually spied on anyone I don't think.

and you cant say that Riku didnt learn nething cause since the keblade had a keychain on it when riku gave it to Kairi so he must of knew if she wasnt one of the decendents that it would go back to the original owner or the more powerfull one and you seen this KH1 when Riku takes it off of sora by holding his hand out and it teleported into his hand and then when they verse each other sora takes it back...

im not sure if im folowing, but it seems that everyone has assumed that chasers are the strongest of the keyblade holders, which seem reasonable, but i doubt nomura would make it that easy to guess.
he likes to give only small teasers, not big plot giveaways (im sure this has annoyed all of us, time and time again).
the chasers could possibly be the new enemies, people who are so jealous of the keyblade holders they would do anything to defeat them eg. give into darkness, or some kind of new power. (riku could possibly be classified as one in this case).
also they could be fallen keyblade holders who become evil and dark, in the next game, you could come up against somthing like an organisation XIII with keyblades.
or chasers could be the moogles, they are everywhere, and who knows what they do in their spare time.

just dont get caught up on one idea, keep thinking though.

kairi is definately alot more important than it seems, more than ansem sending her to find the keyblade holder.
she could possibly be evil, but i doubt it and hope not.

Actually I think most people were suggesting the Chasers were the creators of the Keyblades, which is a possibility you've missed out.

ah, the chasers are godlike (or vey powerful) beings who created the keyblades. or thats the main idea.

thats why I put "the gods (chasers)" and thats cause I cant prove they are chasers I just know there realy powerfull beings....you know from the legend...if you whant me to i can post the legend on to this thread

and why do i think Sora,Riku,and Kairi will be back in kh3 well even if they're not in the begining they will have to come back somewhere in the plot otherwise it would mess up the whole story and in the legend it says the decendents will have to verse Xehanort one day, so even if the story was in the past it would still lead back to the main story well where we left off you know at the bottle ,and we already know sora and riku are both decendents and now im saying Kairi is a decendent and i have facts to back it up...
