Dengeki Online has announced that KH2: FM+ will be released:
March 29, 2007
for a price of
7980 Yen ($67 US)

According to Famitsu the Kingdom Hearts series has sold 10 million units! Pretty impressive for only having 3 installments. (Final Fantasy is at about 70 million, but that's including that it is almost 20 years old and has a large library of games)

Because the game is made in Japan, and japan is their largest consumer. I really hope it goes international, any additional cost it would take to translate it to english would be made up in sales.

The game is actually in English with Japanese subtitles. The problem is converting it to the different PlayStation Formats.

Correct. But there are a few extra features in the 3D version of Chain of Memories (called Re: Chain of Memories). Apparently there'll be a way to link the save files between Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix+ and Re: Chain of Memories, but we don't know what that'll be yet.

If you think about it KH2 FM+ should because (I think it was KH Ultimania) said that KH2 sold more KH2 games than Japan! So if you think about it that may somehow help them. Would'nt it even if it's in another country?

I should point out that Final Mix+ will be MUCH harder. The Beginner Mode on Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix was the same difficulty as the hardest settings on Kingdom Hearts, just to give you some idea. I wouldn't be surprised if this Final Mix has a similar style.

I doubt it. :( But nothing's in stone just yet. If any international country is going to get it, it'll be America and not us. :( But we can just import it if that's the case. I hope it comes out here though. It'll be less hassle for people to deal with.

We don't know, Nomura hasn't said anything yet. I think we'll just have to wait until it's been released in Japan first. If it won't be released in English, I might get it in Japanese. Depends on the cost.

Ohhh...and I think KH2: FM + will probably more expensive than just buying the regular KH2:FM because in the (+) edition there are two games, which would increase the sales price of the game.

It will include 2 discs. 1 will be KH2: Final Mix and then Re:COM-Chain of memorys. It will cost like $68 dollars.

Don't forget that another rumor stating that an English version of the game would be sold in the U.S. in Fall, 2007. However, this hasn't been confirmed. I think it's true, but then again, I AM a dreamer.
