I wanna know.... You know how Kadaj summoned Bahamut...
Was it a Aeon or Summon or what? Anyone know?

It was a summon - he was using the materia in his armlet. But for some reason it wasn't red lol. Anywhoo, it was Bahamut SIN.

Advent Children was incredibly awesome and legendary! I loved every moment of the movie from start to finish including the story, music and graphics.

Yeah, Kadaj and his gang had heard Aeris' voice inside them, and had mistook it to be Jenova. Jenova never had a real role in the film, surprisingly. Except to bring Sephiroth back. Kick ass scene, by the way.

I can't wait to see the extended version previewed at Jump Festa!

dude i completely agree. i love it he just goes "time for my reunion" and then falls then you clouds face go all oh !@#$. and jumps at him. then to everyones shock he stops midair by a masamune and the bigest badie of all time comes back face to face with the guy that killed him and all he needs to say is "hello....cloud" and then he opens the bigest can of woop @$$ ever.

That's totally my favorite part of the movie. That, and after the fight when Rude's glasses are broken and the billboard falls on Reno's head.

And this time Sephiroth wasn't being stupid and trying to "ascend," so he should have won. Not being himself and just controlling Kadaj probably made him weaker.

omg..i love this movie to death. when i first got it i'd watch it everyday lol. Kadaj is my favorite character. Favorite part was the scene when he's talking to those kids with geostigma. At first he creeped me out with his long speech but later I happened to find it amusing. The Cloud vs Kadaj was so awesome too. They're both so skilled. o.o ..And Yuffie's quote about the larva made me laugh XD

My favorite part in Advent children was when Denzel says "Son of a b@$@#"! Another part was when Kadaj falls then reunites with Jenova then Cloud jumps dow n and Sephiroth pulls his Masamune out of no where. Another fav part is the whole Sephiroth vs Cloud part.

Did I?! Are you sure that was me? I remember saying somewhere that it was rather ridiculous that Cloud could get to the Forbidden Forest so fast on his bike from Midgar as it was over the water, but other than that the overall film is awesome. :)

Well we know they were created from Jenova cells, so Hojo might've been their creator. That's all I can think of though.

We might find out info in Crisis Core as Sephiroth and Zack's histories are revealed.

Yeah, there isn't really a single character's voice I can complain about. Kadaj sounded really good- kinda had that whole evil thing goin. I really liked Quintion Flynn as Reno. He sounded kinda geeky in a comical way- I loved it.

a lot of people were complaining that the english version had voices that didn't fit the characters.. that's such a load of crap.. the voiceovers worked very well and it sounded perfectly fine

Dubbing generally has that problem, and there's not much they can do about it. Japanese is a much 'faster-spoken' language than English, and I think they did a great job with it lol

exactly.. it's like everybody who watche the movie in the english version expected all of the mouthing motions to match up with what the characters were actually saying... they're not going to redo the entire game for that... the movie was fine the way it was... and how was sephiroth only average? what did you expect him to sound like??

I don't think they could have done a better job with the voice acting. They used the perfect people for the job, and didn't use any huge names in it. Could you imagine Tom Cruise as Cloud or something? lol.

I actually saw this movie for the first time, a few days ago. I was at the shops last week and found it in a sale bin for $8 AUD (that's about $6 American or 4 pounds). It was cool seeing these characters in a movie after KH.

Wow. I saw the movie just a few days ago too. It was so cool. Reno always made me laugh but I also cracked up when Kadaj was crying at the part when he had lost "mother."

That is the awesome part when right as cloud got to him he just changed rapidly, and he looks over and sees that it's Sephiroth. That is probably my favorite part. It was so cool. Sephiroth is awesome and they did a good job on the voice.

I liked Sephiroth's voice it was good, especially when he said "Nice to see you, Cloud". that was cool.

Not true. They specifically designed the movie so that you didn't have to have played Final Fantasy VII to see it. They showed all the necessary flashbacks and information in the film.

Obviously there were little bits here and there, like Yuffie's airsickness and the Victory fanfare telephone ring, but no matter who you were, you'd always get the main story.

The only part that I didn't get - What was the deal with the fricking dog/wolf? Where did it come from? Who's is it? Why did it randomly appear in different places? What in the world did it have to do with anything?

I haven't played FF7 and yet I really liked the movie. I bought it to get a sense of the characters they've used in Kingdom Hearts and I certainly got that out of it. They have the summary of FF7 following the movie in anycase, which fills in any missing details. Yes, there are probably parts only understood by FF7 players but then they are probably there for the laugh rather than an essential part of the story.

it's kinda sad reno doesn't appear much.....only in the beggining, the meeting with cloud,battle with bahamut sin and at the bridge...........i wish he made more appearences....same thing with all the other supposrting roles from FF:VII (yuffie,cat sith, Vaincent etc.)...
