Help with the Phantom

I can't seem to beat the phantom at the clocktower in neverland. I've tried everything i know and he still kills me with that spell that kills you when it counts down to zero.

Is he really that hard or is it just me?

yeah i found him really hard too (i gave up fairly quick).

if the counter starts, i think u go to the clock face and cast stop.
then the phantom runs around and tries to hit u.

when u see a glowing orb in its groin, attack with the corresponding spell i think there is white, red, yellow and blue,
which are physical attack, fire, thunder and blizzard (in that order.)

thats as much as i ever did, he flies around and hits u and stuff. good luck with beating him, hopefully someone else will give u more help than i did.

Casting stop is the most vital part of that battle lol.

Can this thread be moved to "Cheats, Hints and Tips" by a mod please?

Agreed, if you don't cast stop your screwed. Also Aero is very effective against that projectile thingy that circles and damages you.

Yellow-Cast thunder
Blue-Cast Blizzard

i know for the phantom i leveled up all the way to 99, and still had trouble beating him. i think the most ive ever brought him down was 2 bars of life, i know u need to stock up on max-ethers, and hopefully youll have donald at a good level so he can cast cure, goofy is kind of useless til you can attack.
as for a strategy to beat him, i wouldnt know cause i havent accomplished it yet, but whats worked for me was having fire, blizzard, and thunder at the quick spells, and also having stop. im lucky though, cause i was able to obtain ultima, so when i could attack id just bash away, but he always got me with the counter running down, i never knew if u go to any of the clock faces or a specific one.
BUT a good tactic thats worked for me to do some damage is; go at him then pull back a little, and dependign on the color of the orb, cast that spell. then go at him then fly away from him so he cahses u, then stop so he'll stop too then go at him and pull back and then cast the orb colored magic again. do that til the orb turns white, and bash away. when he uses the counter, go to the clock hopefully you'll stop it and keep doing it til hes dead.

phantom is kind of tough but if i can beat him at lvl 70 in expert im sure u can do it :) all u need is, donald, peter pan, and urself full of ethers(and alot of patience). keep a hipotion or 2 on urself if u loose both peterpan and donald (like i did). 2nd u need to get stopra from pooh's book. u have to complete like the 3rd or 4th page. 3rd u need aurora or higher(lasts longer). last u need the highest versions of fire,blizzard, and thunder.

when fighting make sure to cast stop every few minutes on clock, even if it hasnt started moving itll stand still longer letting ur group live longer. same with aurora(aurorga) every few moments also, so u dont have to waste ur magic healing urself if that stupid purple orb he shoots hits u. if it does hit u keep casting cure until it disapears or it WILL kill u. other than that u just need alot of patience like i said earlier. it took me about 8 minutes to take him down. hope this helps

o ya and keep cure,stop, and auro in ur quick buttons, and when he starts flying around u in circles just fly with him to stay with him until he stops or this is a good time to cast stop or auro again

The number one thing you have to have is the best stop spell and the best aero spell.

when i beat him i did most of that but i did not use aurora or auroga i was level 78
