Look, for the record I do not really care if people decide to make posts that bash our staff. You should be able to do that, free speech and all. However, this is not the way to go about it. First of all, why did you title this "New Titles+"? You figure it would get read faster? My first priority everytime I log in to the forum is to read everything in the "Forum Issues" section that is unread, no matter what its title is. This was silly.

My other beef is that you are being rude. If you're gonna make a post to bash about a staff member, how about making it constructive or something? Also, I fail to see how creating a thread like this combats spam at all. If there's spamming going on, contact your nearest moderator by Private Message. That's all.

If you DO mean the 'Sora being Bisexual' thread, why do you consider it spamming? If someone wants to discuss about it, he/she is %100 free to do so. If you don't like a thread or think it is useless, just evade it and don't post on it.
And as Kain said, that was not exactly nice. I would suggest checking up before you post something.

I agree with Sora to the fullest extent. If I don't reply to you or do anything about it, there's a reason. Also, I was sick and was asleep all day. It's now Spring Break and I should be on a wee bit more.

No one is forcing that Sora is a Bisexual, they are just discussing what you think, which is what a forum is for, to express your thoughts. Sorry if I dissappointed you, but I'd like to emphasize the fact that:

If you PM about a thread and I don't PM you back or do anything about it, there IS a reason!

You guys take things to seriously, sorry TB if u were offended, i just wanted to see if u would see the thread, not mean anything by it, anyway thats creepy that u guys are keeping a thread like that, and delete threads like "Someone talk to me" O.O that tells me alot about you, thanks.

There is a difference between threads which are designed to encourage SOME kind of meaningful conversation, vs. threads which are just created to talk about crap. And by crap I man, "wassup guys im bord". That's crap. "Is Sora bi?" is not crap, and it COULD in fact be a meaningful conversation if it wasn't maintained by immature 12 year olds.

That being said, the area in which posts are made are also a big factor. I have stressed to my staff and made publicly aware several times that certain sections inside General Forum, namely Personal Forum and Web Families are almost totally unmoderated. This is on purpose. This is so that people can make their "omg i need some1 2 talk 2" threads without it pissing everybody else off.

I'd like to add something as to whether a thread stays open or not.

A lot of it is in the attitude of the posters. I had to close the thread on Global Warming due to the outright rudeness that people were using with eachother. There is absolutely no reason why this should have been the case as it is a subject of great discussion and was interesting to see others opinions on it. The same goes for threads on subjects such as bisexuality. They will not be closed just because of their subject matter but they will be watched to make sure everyone is being sensible about it.

You guys could really help out here by keeping threads on subject and respecting the view of others.

TB is a very good Mod. Why do you think Kain chose him to become one? It's not because of his name, it's because he is helpful, mature and makes good posts.

And if you PM'd him and he didn't ansewer. It's no big deal he is really busy and just pm another mod. If no other mod is on just wait the problem will be solved.
