Gundam: The New Age

Five years after the final Gundam incident. Heero Yuy, the original pilot of Gundams 001 and 000, codenames Wing Gundam and Wing Zero, is dead, and the other four Gundam pilots have gone their separate ways. Scientists have found a new Gundanium Alloy deposit and have secretly begun working on prototype Gundams. The project is known as the GPX Project. Eight Gundams in total have been designed and are beginning to be built, and seven pilots have been chosen to use these Gundams, and are currently training in mobile suit.

Weapons: The reason the Gundam is called the Transit Gundam is due to it’s ability to transmit any weapon contained within a selected area directly to the Gundam and back. For this reason, the Gundam can quickly change weapon styles and armor styles.

Five years have passed since the Gundam incident now known as the L3 X-18999 Takeover. Earth Federation is left in shambles, the world is in chaos. A new power rises on Earth known as the NeoFederation, a tyrannical government set on conquering the colonies.
Heero Yuy is dead. Heero died in a mobile suit fighting the new government for what he belived. Relena Darlian is also dead, she was assassinated shortly before Heero went to battle. The other four Gundam pilots seemed to have disappeared completely, each one having a different reason for separating. The colonies, now feeling threatened, have decided to search out for new Gundanium Alloy to create Newtype Gundams to combat the threat. The scientists who work for the colonies found enough Alloy to build eight gundams.

Each colony set forth it’s best pilots to train for the chance to be Gundam pilots. Out of fourteen pilots chosen by the colonies, only seven where chosen to pilot the gundams. This began the struggle in the colonies, to bring forth their best fighters. In the end, 14 pilots were chosen, all of them to fight in an elimination tournament using only standard Mobile Suits. Out of the fourteen pilots, only three seemed truly capable of handling the Gundams.


Xuriel reached for the controls above him, his Aeris unit warming up. "Alright, just a quick warm up. Xykru? Ready?" A screen flashed before his eyes, showing Xykru's face and cockpit. Xuriel flipped more swtiches, checking pressure and power guages to his left.

Weapons: This GPX-002 has some major tweaks however, with an extended blade and also the capacity to dual wield the Blades in which it has. One of the Blades has two blades, making it more effective than most normal blades that come equipped as standard

"Keep that. Its a part for a Gundam. I got from my Colony, it increases its speed"

Xuriel sighed. "Whatever..." He turned around, walking out of the loading area. When he was out of earshot, he couldn't help but say aloud, "Man...he's wierd..."

Leon waited until Xuriel walked off and then sat in his Mobile Suit...

Leon thought to himself "Pestering people, I need to avenge my parents..so why am I stuck here?"

Xuriel walked straight to his room, slamming the door behind him, latching it shut. Anthing to get closer to him...I would sell my soul if it meant being able to kill him.

Leon jumped down from the Mobile Suit once again and took out a coin, he rolled it along the floor to the hangar door to pass time

Xykru fiddled around his tech station, rummaging through random shelves.
"Man... where did I put that?" he said, emptying one drawer on to the ground. He continued to grumble at the machine part scattered around him.
"Ah, there!" he said, grabbing a small box off the ground.
"Tricky peice to find... oh well," Xykru said, walking off, leaving his station a mess.
I wonder where Xuriel is... he mused, walking to his friends door. He knocked.
"Hey, You in there? Don't be angry because I slept in past the test runs!" He shouted, laughing slightly. he turned the knob, only to realize it was locked.
"You aren't going crazy on me again, are you?" He shouted again. He knew his friend had a rough life before the gundam life, although he had never spoken about it aloud. He himself had joined the forces mostly out of bordom, and the fact that his family had been taken by the plague that had hit his colony.
"Hello?" he called once more.

Leon is fast asleep in his Mobile Suit when he is suddenly awakened by metal clanking outside, he switches his visor to see-through and see's someone else inside the hanger...

"Hmph.. he must be another person stuck here just like Xuriel and I. I wont approach him, he seems busy enough...besides they will get to me know very soon" Leon thought quietly.

Drsake unlocked the door. "Hey...I'm fine. Despite the fact there are only three Gundam Pilots, they want us to start test runs with them today."

[Riku'sTwilight]

Leon, still in his Mobile Suit hears something Loud outside the hanger, he opened the suit up and jumped down and went to check it out...

"Hmm an Aircraft...I wonder what that is carrying...maybe the day has finally arrived" Leon wondered, looking up at the sky in content

[Xykru]

"TODAY?!?!?" Xykru said, a shocked look upon his face.
"Wait... three? We found another?" he asked.

"Just one. He's in the loading bay." Xuriel walked to the door.

"Right. Well, my workstations a mess. I need to clean that before the test run." Xykru said, walking towards the hanger.

He moved through his work area, picking up the various tools that were thrown around.
"Man, I really trached the place." he said as he finished, wiping his brow.

Xuriel was speaking to the pilot of the craft that was carring the Newtype Gundams. "So...we have access to them?"
The man nodded. "This one here is yours. They told me to give this one to you."

[Xykru]

"Right, now..." Xykru began walking to where Xuriel was.
"New bots, huh? Nice and big..." He said, looking to the three befoer him.

After another long spell of boredom the new type Gundams arrive. Leon stares at the piece of paper attached with the Gundams.

He Looks up at 002 and smiles "This one is Mine eh?, Looks a lot like Gundam 001, The same Gundam Heero piloted. This Should be fun"

Leon climbed aboard the New Type Gundam and sat in its cockpit, he fired up the CPU and started intialising the programs. He found that it had the basics of a normal mobile suit, but with all the complexities that a new machine could have.

When he sat in it Leon sensed a strange feeling, unlike he had ever felt before. He sensed a strange power flowing through him, Leon put this down to adrenaline but it couldnt be, no, Leon had felt adrenaline before, in the countless battles that he had faced in the war of his colony after it faced a Civil War.

This new power that Leon felt was new, exciting. He felt his emotions being channeled into the Gundam, making it seem a part of him.

"Im going to like this" He said, laughing afterwards

"Xykru..." a voice behind him called. He turned to see an officer flanked by two gun-weilding guns.
"Can I help you sargent?" Xykru asked casually.
"Contact your friend and call him down, we must speak to you in the conference room.

After the sargent had left, Xykru hopped in his cockpit, opening a link to Xuriel.
"Yo, HQ is calling our names to the conference room." He said. "Seems we are in trouble, guards had guns today. Who did you hit this time?" He joked, no clue to that they truely were in trouble.

Leon intercepted the voice communication between Xykru and Xuriel

"Conference Room? We gonna have a meeting now or something?" Leon said confused..

"Maybe I should tag alone..I will send a com to the pilot named Xykru to ask" Leon thought

Leon then patched up a signal to Xykru's Gundam and sent him a message

"This is Gundam 002, Pilot name Leon...Come in Xykru. Will I be needed at the conference? Over" Leon said over the video/radio communication system installed in the Gundams

"I am not sure." He said to leon, the viewscreen poping up.
"Sargents usually do not call on us... this is strange."

Xuriel had just started the Gundam. "Aww....man." He flipped a few switches, jumped out of the cockpit. "Alright..." They both turned and headed for the conference room.

Xykru sighed as he jumped out of the cockpit.

"Well, what do you think they want this time?" He asked.

[KH2_FinalSora]

"I dunno, maybe they want to introduce another pilot." Xuriel shrugged. "MAybe even give us our first mission."

[Xykru]

"That would be nice. Something other than those simulations..." Xykru laughed as they neared the room. The door slid open and he entered.

Leon felt alone...the way he had always felt when his parents were killed and his brother left to become a Gundam Pilot.
Leon was used to being alone...he liked it that way. No one to get in his way or distract him from the mission

Xuriel and Xykru finally arrived at the door. "So...do we knock?"

Xykru shrugged and opened the door. At the table sat the sargent that had coem to him, and a few other people.
"You called for us?" He asked, walking to the end of the table. Guards stood with fully automatic rifles behind them, ready to fire at the first sign of trouble. This seemed a bit much for a meeting of any type. A worried look crossed Xykru's face breifly. Had they discovered his father had been a Co-ordinator? If so, what did this have to do with Xuriel?
(I'll let you decide what they say to us, my plotness jus kinda died on me...)

The genral coughed, waiting for something. Almost as if on cue, a scientist walked in, hoding a vile of what looked like blood. "We've run several backgroud checks. You two are the only survivors of the DX Plague. We need to run a few more tests, but until then we need you to leave the premesis. We do not want our crew nor the pilots getting deaethly ill."

[Xykru]

"Your talking about the plague that was unleashed in my colony?!" Xykru asked, slamming his hands on teh table. He had known for a fact that this was not any natural plague, otherwise his father would not have died. Co-ordinaters did not get normal viruses. Someone had attacked his colony that day. His face was contorted in anger, as he looked to Xuriel for some support.
"We have not given it to anyone! and I have been here four years now!" He continued, his knuckles white from pressing on the table. How could they do this? Xuriel and him had been among the best piolets they had, how could they just abandon them?

"I'm sorry, but we cannot risk any chances. You'll only need to leave for three days. Three days, then we'll have an answer."

Xuriel sighed, "I understand, but we've been here for nearly four years and haven't caused a problem"

Xykru stormed out of the door, heading towards his room.
"Man! durring the best season for test runs, and we get our new modles... now this! " he continued to muble such complaints until he reached his room.
"Xureil, what are we to do?"

Xuriel sighed. "We have no choice, we'll leave for now. But I won't let them take us off the team." He seemed determined.

"Right... but where?" Xykru said, turning. He had a confused look upon his face.
"It has been so long since our last vacation, I have no idea of where to go."

"We'll take my ship to the nearest colony. We could use the break anyway..." Xuriel grabbed his coat and wallet. "Plus, this will give us time to analyze the new mobile suits." He held up data disks. "Information on how they run."

[Xykru]

"They let you take those outside the base?" He asked, smirking. He knew better than to think they would let them walk out with the plans. He slung a small bag over his shoulder. Before opening the door.
"At least they did not find out I am the son of a co-ordinator..." he laughed.

"Yeah..." Xuriel looked around. "But at least they didn't figure out that." He walked out of the room. "Let's go ahead and leave, not like they'd care anyway."

"Yeah.... they wouldn't." he said sarcasticaly, waving down a base transport. Getting in, he asked: "What colony sounds good to you? I am good for anywhere with a decent hotel and better food."

"Probably OX-097520754139." Xureil blinked. "How the hell did I just do that?" He blinked again, throttling the main engine to max power, launching the ship into space.

"Do what?" Xykru said, busy monitering the numorus screens in the ships cockpit.

"Repeat the number...I've never memorized something that big..." Xuriel blinked again. "Maybe your rubbing off on me..."

"OX-097520754139. I don't think you can learn to memorize, can you?" he joked. " Alrgith, programed in, we'll be there in an hour..." he said, leaning back in his chair.
"Plague, huh?"

"Hey!" he siad, kicking Xuriel's seat.
"This thing may be on auto-course, but I can't fly it if we get into trouble!"

Xuriel rolled his eyes. Thi flight didn't seem as long as it really was, and they were soon exiting the plane. Xuriel had a map in his hand, reading upside down. "I can't make heads or tails of this..."

"Don't look to me, I am not good at location, compasses, or any of those things." Xykru said, slinging his bag over his shoulder.
"Ask a local."

Xuriel sighed. "Vacations aren;t as easy as they look." He turned the map rightside up, reading it normally. "Ah...one right across the street." he looked up, noticing the extavagant hotel. "Wonder why I didn't notice it?"

"Your you, thats why." Xykru laughed. He crossed the street, nearly getting hit by a cab.

Xuriel didn;t notice, but crossed the street, still reading the map. Several cars nearly ran him over, a few cursing him as they drove by. "Hm...says here there's a stockpile of mobile suits under here, according to the government records."

"Mobiles, huh? Hey! look out!" he yelled as xuriel crossed the street. Xykru shook his head helplessly. "So, wait, you have government stuff with you? this is supposed to be a vacation..."

"Well.." Xuriel went to his part of the room, unlocking the door. "Maybe we can 'borrow' the mobile suits on 'government' buisness, and train some."

"What? Work? I thought we could go pick up some girls..." Xykru complained, but gave a kindhearted laugh.
"You sure these things are even functional?"

Xuriel laughed at Xykru's remark. "Yeah, I know what you mean, but with our "plague", we can;t risk anyhting." He opened his portable laptop. "Plus, even if they aren;t functional, we can fix them. Be another test."

"Fine... but you know as well as I that we are stable and are not contagious..." Xykru said, walking through the open door that joined thier rooms.
"Hey! they got mini-fridges!" he called happily to Xuriel. He walked back in with a bottle of Soda.
"So, what infereior modles are we looking at? Oldies or contemporary?" He asked. He wondered if the government would approve of them taking these suits....

Xureil and Xykru turned on the tvs in their room almost simultaneously. Each of their eyes widened at the sight that lay before them. The colony they were at just an hour ago had been taken by the NeoFederation of Earth.

"What the- XURIEL!!!!!" Xykru yelled from his room. He burst into Xuriels room.
"Hey! turn to..." he paused, considering Xuriels expression.
"You know... what are we to do? All our things, our mobile suits, pictures of our family are there..." He said sadly, when a thought crossed his mind.
"The resistance has our files!"

Xuriel turned the TV off. "We're going back. We'll fix the Mobile Suits that are here, and go back."

"Go back?" He asked, seemingly stunned. His entire world was falling own around him, it seemed. He stared blankly at the now off screen

"We have to. With those weapons...they could hurt more people. They could...kill families like...ours..." Xuriel looked down. "We have to..."

"No family for them to kill..." he muttered, his voice trembling. HE ran out the door, but paused.
"Wheres the hanger?"

The hangar was small, it only housed three Space Leo Units.

"Leo models? Man, I hate these.." he muttered climbing into a cockpit.
"All systems operational, launch... now" he said, taking off out of the hanger, straight through the baracades.

"Rushing much?" Xuriel clicked the main power on. "Space Leo Model 00749 (man that's old), launch!" He fired the main thrusters, following Xykru out.

"Where's the thruster switch?" Xykru asked, pulling up a video link.
"These are toddlers toys... I forgot how to use them."

"Thruster to the left of the seat." Xuriel's mood changed completely. "Simple...Calculating distance...we'll be there in 10 minutes."

"Right." he said, flipping the switch.
"You lead, I follow."

The base seemed in good shape, except for the twenty million or so defences that had now been placed. There were at least one-hundred Aeris units, and mines everywhere.

Xuriel watched from afar. "This could get ugly..."

"What about the Mining entries? The Leos can get us there, then we sneak in on foot, and get our nice shiney new models, blow the crap out of the place, and fly to the capatol..." Xykru suggested.

Xuriel didn't answer, instead, he fired off several shots. "Now...it begins."

The shot's hit the mines, which set off a chain reaction, destroying most of the mines. The incompasing explosion swallowed a few Aeris, annihilating them completely.

Xykru veered off, langing on the mining docks.
"Wow, I expected it to bell swarmed.." he said, refering to the empty docks. Slowly, he got out of his cockpit and made his way to the center hanger.

Xuriel, in the meantime, had acted as the perfect distraction. Manuevering with unimaginable skill, he dodged every blast that cam toward him, sending several shots of his own back. "Fire..." He smirked. "This is too easy."

Xykru hid behing a fuel canister in the hanger. Three guards were all there was.
"Alright, show time..." He said, sneaking around the canister. He entered his new gundam with ease, then took aim at the door. He opened a link with drake.

"KNOCK KNOCK!" he cried, blasting the doors of the hanger. The three guards were shocked at the fact the gundam seemed to be acting on its own.
"Comign in drake?"

Xuriel turned behind him. "A gundam!?" Xuriel's eyes widened as the Gundam pulled a beam sword out of its sheath, slicing the Leo's arm off. "Crap..." Xuriel dodged the next slash as Xykru's line came through. "No time to talk, bye!" He flipped the communication switch off, didging another slash.

Xureil dodged another one of the Gundam's slashes. "If you havn't noticed, I have a small problem."
The screen lit up as the pilot appeared on the screen. " My name is Riados Sokato, if you want to live, surrender now."

A blade beam dissected teh gundams weapon.
"This is Xykru Faire, raidos, if you want to live, surrender"
Xykru said, imitating Raidos' voice

Xuriel smirked as the Gundam turned around, and flew off. "Right...I'll remember that..."

Xuriel landed the Leo in the hangar. Several guards were lying on the ground unconcious as he walked through. "Nice."

"Right, get your mech, and lets get out of here!"

Xuriel nodded, jumping towards his Gundam. "Alright, systems online."

[Xykru]

"Let's blow this popcicle stand." Xykru said, thrusting off the docking bay. Once far from the station, he turned to regard the disaster.

"They got the rest of the Gundams...they've evacuated the area. We should destroy the base." Xuriel pressed a button, the trple beam cannon appearing over the Gundam's shoulder. "Ready..."

[Xykru]

His memories were there. Xykru's mind screamed at him that they should destroy the base, but it was more than that to him. It had been a home after his was gone.
"Wai-" he started to cry out to Xuriel, but it was to late.
"Whe- where do we go now? Do we go to headquaters?" he asked over the link.

"Fire..." Xuriel fired. The station erupted into flames, several more explosion occuring afterword as the flames reached extra fuel tanks. "We're heading to the Space Federation's main Station.

[Xykru]

"Right." Xykru said, one last look over his shoulder, he headed off.

Xuriel sighed, lauched the thrusters to max.

A short while later, they landed at teh main station. Upon exiting his gundam, Xykru seemed to be in shock. His face was blank, shownign nothing that was happening in his mind. This was all to overwhelming.
"We... we sould report to the highers..." he said dully.

Xuriel nodded. "Right." He moved quickly to eject himself from the Gundam. "Good job.." He jumped down, letting the semi-gravity take him gent;y to the ground. "Perfect."

"I have not been to HQ in a long time, not sence my commision as a piolet." Xykru laughed sheepishly, coming to a hallway intersection.
"How to we get to the main room?"

"Simple, we go through the main hall, take a left at the second doorway, then take an immediate right, and we're there." Xuriel pointed out, "I was here a week or so ago."

"And you did not bring me? Why not?" Xykru laughed, finding some form of entertainment in the midst of this tragidy. He walked up to the door, which opened in a fwoosh.
"G.M.S. Piolet Xykru Faire, reporting." he said, walking in.

Xuriel sighed, walking in. "Whatever, Xuriel Raize, Gundam 001 Pilot."

"The two polets we stationed at Base 00245?" the general asked, standing. "We believed you lost in the battle..."

"It'll take more than that to take us out." Xykru said.

The second officer laughed. "I knew we chose the right pilots!" Neither of the pilots seemed amused. "Right, to the point. We've lost the base to the NeoEarth Federation, and we need expert pilots to take it back. We'll be sending Mobile Suits out, and we want you two to command them."

[Xykru]

"Um... right... well, you see, xuriel and I kinda..." he said, thinking how to explain the destroyed base. He looked to Xuriel.

[KH2_FinalSora]

Xuriel sighed. "The base is gone. When we escaped, canisters blew up, causing a chain reaction. The base is nothing but space dust."

[Xykru]

"yeah, what he said. Anyway, we saw no survivars, butrecaptured teh new mechs before blowing it up." Xykru said, waving a hand back at teh hanger.

"Only two.." Xuriel sighed. "Only two made it. The enemy has the rest."

The commander shook his head. "This isn't good. We need those mechs to win this war."

Xuriel sighed again, then saluted. "Requesting permission of dismissal."

The commander nodded. "First, we need to make sure you're in top shape, that you haven't been bugged and such. Both of you need a physical."

[Xykru]

"Oh, god, not the old doc's who say 'Turn you head and cough...'" Xykru shuddered. "They were two out of three, right? whatever happened to the otehr poilet?"

"He's robably dead by now..." Xuriel spoke, still in a salute.

"Dismissed, but go to the Physical Room." The commander nodded, and Xuriel left.

"Damn..." he muttered, walking off to the doc's place.

Xuriel was in the lead. When they got there, a simple scan was done, then blood was drawn.

The doc spoke calmly, "It's only checking for virus', they spread easily when the Federation uses gasses.''

"Ah, needles...." Xykru shuddered as his blood was drawn.
"Viruses... don't they know we have never really had one our entier lives? what would change now?" he asked.

"The enemy sometimes use Biological Warfare, which means using chemicals that cause deadly diseases to kill people." Xuriel blinked, then looked down. "Like...home..."

[Xykru]

"Right, but if we had been hit back at old base, would we have died on the way here then? Most virus's nowadays kill imediately.. not slowly..." Xykru trailed off ats the doctor returned.

"Nah, some kill slowly. Gives the virus time to spread throughout the enemy ranks." Xuriel had a Militaristic mind, and could think up many strategies in nearly no time at all. "C'mon, think. If the virus kills slow enough, it gives the unit time to go back to base, allowing it to spread and kill more people. It's simple."

"Yeah, but since when has the (Neofeds?) been that smart? Normaly there straight forward and bruteal." He said offhandeldly, looking to the doctor.
"Can we go now?"

"But they had an ENTIRE platoon. We, us two only, infiltrated, captured the suits, and escaped, they cannot be that good..." He muttered, coughing slightly.

"They're pretty good, they have intellegent minds, they just have stupid soldiers. Unlike us, of course." Xuriel laughed. "Besides, no one can beat us when we're double teaming them."

"Right, blame it on the soldiers... Just because they have no fight in their hearts doen't mean they suck, oh, wait, yes it does!" He laughed, tehn looked to teh doctor.
"Can we leave now?"

Xairin sat in the dark cell. It had been three days since he had been thrown in by the NeoFederation Soldiers. His convoy was intercepted before it could reach the military base, and everyone, except him, was dead.

A guard threw something in the door. A ball of something fowl smelling. "Feeding time!"

There was a small noise, and Xairin heard the guard fall to the ground. It was followed by a small click. By the time Xairin had figured out what had happened, the person was gone.

All of the guards in the vicinity had been knocked out. Oddly enough, a gun was sitting on the floor next to the guard that had been watching Xairin.

There were several gunshots heard to the left, but they subsided quickly, leaving silence.

Several more gunshots were heard, but Xairin never found the person firing. Only bodies riddled on the ground. A sudden blast of the alarm sounded, and soldiers marching through the halls could be heard.
