well i heard for many of friends that ff7 is the best ff ever advent children need to see movie and dirges of cereberus in gamepro describes just a shooting game quoted by themselves that ff7 fans don't have to play bc they r a fan

Thats just 4 very popular characters off the top of my head, all with spikey hair. And thats not including infamous Animie series which supplied most of the spike hair(DBZ, hint hint.)

Bandages are consistent in Cloud's image throughout his travels in FFVII and his appearances in other games. In the original game, the bandages are wrapped around his left wrist, while they shroud his sword in Kingdom Hearts.

It's not much of a stretch to say that this is a physical representation of his immense psychological damage. Cloud has no idea who he is, and he's used lies to patch -- or bandage -- the holes in his memory to pacify his insecurities. No matter how long the game stretches on, the bandages remain, showing us that Cloud has yet to piece his past together.

Much more understandable if you've actually played the game...

...and I have no idea why he's so damn cool... he just... is. He grew on me during KHI. He made me play FFVII just to see more of him and find out more... lol. But yes.

True Cloud was born from Jenova cells, but he also had parts of Zack and Sephiroth in him. But, Cloud is Cloud after finding his true self and after learning and accepting his doings in his past, he cant get away from his past till FF7:AC

I think Cloud's the most popular simply because Final Fantasy VII was the first 3D Final Fantasy. Most people were introduced to Final Fantasy through it and he was the first character you play. Similarly with Sephiroth as he was the 'ultimate enemy' in the 'first Final Fantasy people play'. When you actually play Sephiroth you think he's awesome because he can do 3000 or so damage with a massive sword (9 foot long apparently), but then you can do over 9999 damage by the end of the game anyway (and they are only bouncing numbers after all).

they are all more or less just test-tube clones, and therefore couldn't have anything to do with Sora unless Sora had the same connections.

Cloud and Sora aren't related. They wouldn't have cross-game storyline family relationships. The whole Cloud/Tifa/Leon/Yuffie/Cid/Aerith/Sephiroth part of Kingdom Hearts is a completely different storyline in itself to Final Fantasy VII as explained by Nomura. So although Tifa is Cloud's Light and Sephiroth is his Darkness, Sora has nothing to do with it except meeting them. He doesn't fight Sephiroth for Cloud - the only thing Sora does is "find Sephiroth".

sephiroth was killed after the ff7 game he just keeps coming back because cloud keeps looking for him and he wouldn't let his darkness rest so as long as cloud still has darkness in him, sephiroth wil keep showing up

And cloud doesn't have zacks cells in him he just took on his life due to the experiments the shinra did on him
