FMA rocks so much more than Naruto!
A generally better storyline, better character development, fast story development, and admirable characters. Not to mention that the ways in which alchemy can be used contains much more variety than watching Naruto and friends grimace all day.
Not to mention the humor is much better in FMA.
I also thought that the FMA movie was much better than all the Naruto ones. Quantity does not constitute quality in my opinion.

Fullmetal Alchemist was able to keep me through the whole thing. I enjoyed the characters, (they weren't ALL boring and predictable like Naruto's) and it actually had an interesting plot.

Naruto on the other hand really bores me.

Well Naruto couldn't keep me interested past the first few episodes. Seriously.

If you're going to put down FMA for it's size you should Naruto as well. It has like what, 300+ episodes, right? That's ridiculous.

FMA is the right size, and it doesn't matter that it revolves around the stone, it's still a heck of a lot more interesting than Naruto.

(forgive me if I sound ignorant I have only seen 19 shippuuden epsidoes.)

FMA has more content in each episode and more variety. Usually most alchemic reactions aren't repeated thousands of times (HINT HINT -cough cough- -nudge nudge-)

I have seen all 220 episodes of naruto (SO MUCH F----ING FILLER) and only 19 shippuden episodes because the shippuden can't hold my interest. It is becoming more and more like yugioh. About five cards and too much dialogue.
I have only seen 2 naruto movies and no more. I only partially liked the second one because of gaara and I haven't even seen all of the first movie. It's pathetic.

The FMA movie I have seen about 20 times and I still enjoy watching it. I even think they might make a second, but there are no rumors.

I'm sorry but I have to say Full Metal Alchemist.

I'm more into the whole analytical type of show where you have to keep up to
figure out what's going to happen next. Naruto is a great show, but it's always the same. Full Metal deals with actual problems that we deal with in our own world in such a way, that you wouldn't think about it the first time through, yet after, it gets you thinking.

I'd have to say FMA, like everyone says, it has a better story line, it accualy goes somewhere different in each episode, better developed characters, more human emotions you'd deal with real life, the awesome alchemy, and all the science and history (history being in the movie)

naruto is a pretty good series but its just wayyyy dang long i given up on it after like episode 130 (i just read the manga now) plus it just dosen't go anywhere soemtimes.

plus the colonel rocks :)

Sure the alchemists create things with alchemy but so do humans when they manufacture something. Alchemists just eliminate a few steps
