I was wondering if you could somehow copyright my game and stop people from trying to take my ideas. I politely asked people that read my version to not take my ideas, and ever since I did I have found multiple accounts of this.
Mods Please take this into account,

Anything that you create is copyrighted to you, and you are essentially giving us all a license to see/use it. Anybody who COPIES your work word for word is subject to copyright violation. Any derivatives of your work probably do not fall under the same category.
Being the owners of the forum, the moderation staff is required to uphold copyright law IF the copyrights are justifiably infringed. If authorities tell us to remove some works, we will willingly comply. We will not comply, however, by simple requests unless the infringement is blatantly obvious. We simply do not want to set a precedent for such behavior, or else we open ourselves up to future liability.

Stealing a book idea doesn't count as copyright infringement. It's would likely fall under "fair use", as any books that come out these days are based off things already written (think about how many books have been written, historically.)

well I am writing a book and it is completly fictionbut I don know what you are talking about there are so many historical books
When you say "The Game", do you mean your version of Kingdom Hearts? If so, you're already breaking a copyright infringement law right there by taking the copyrighted name and characters.

That is always subject to a gray area. If he isn't making any money off the game, and if he isn't claiming it's official then there isn't usually a ground to stand on for copyright infringement, as his work could be seen as derivative or fan work. At any rate, I don't think that's what he's talking about.
