What the HELL happens to the final battle if your lvl 99? I beat the game, killed Xemnas and everything at lvl 55. Just for fun, I figured Id beat him when I was lvl 99, thinking it will be a Breeze. First problem I had was fighting the Man in the Dragon 1 on 1. He sent me into the Space area, and started throwing Houses at me...Yet there were not houses I could use Reaction Command on to get back to him. So after almost dying 3 times from being hit with houses and having 100's of lasers fired at me, I got back to him. Then all he did was spam MORE Lasers at me, meaning half an hour later I finally beat him. The only time the WHOLE fight I got a full combo in was right at the end, since he cant be beaten without finishing with a combo.

So, I finnally got to Xemnas, the final guy. All fine. Then Sora gets trapped, and Im playing as Riku to save him. As soon as I became Riku, the Xemnas clone ran up to me and used that sheild thing to knock me back...Then used it again, immediately after. Then again. Then again. Basically, I couldnt do a thing. It put me right up against the edge of the area, as far away from Sora as you can go, so I could just watch both Riku and Soras health slowly go down to 0.

So does the final boss battle INCREASE in difficulty when you level, or has this only happened to me? o.O

That could be the case, as in final fantasy VIII the bosses and enemies grow stronger as you do, I still havent beaten FF VIII, and I'm level 100 on all of my characters with full ultima and high magic slots, really, it might be just to make it more difficult

Yeah i suppose it would...

It didnt really phase me though when I fought him at level 99 compared to level 65.

They both pissed me off. and you can only do reaction commands on the buildings that aint flying towards you trying to kill you lol

You might be right about Xemnas getting harder. It's been happening to me lately and I can't figure out why.

I think I did notice this happen. He seems to be just as hard to fight no matter if I am at level 60 all the way up to level 99. Werid.

The Riku saving Sora part was the only part I died on once. I only played that battle at lvl 97 and 99, so I had no idea that the battle was different at a lower level.

That could be the case, as in final fantasy VIII the bosses and enemies grow stronger as you do, I still havent beaten FF VIII, and I'm level 100 on all of my characters with full ultima and high magic slots, really, it might be just to make it more difficult

I was in the same situation. I have completed FFVIII but I could never defeat Omega Weapon. Every boss in Ultimecia's castle at least doubles or triples their stats after Level 98 or something.

In FFVII, Sephiroth triples his HP for the final battle if you're level 97-99.
